Our member drive was a huge success! We now have several new members to keep this guild active. The member drive will be closing in a couple days, but of course we will still be accepting people who want to join. We just want be advertising in the guild forum anymore. Then, we will face the joyous task of incorporating our new members into our Vetus Gaianus family. Welcome to all of you who are new! And to all of you who are old hats, lets band together and make them feel welcome. heart
The Halloween event will be starting soon, but I can't tell you which day it will be. However, I can tell you that I will launch it on the first day of the Halloween event, and it will take place in the event forum. That is, unless they take too long launching it, in which case it will take place in Friends Chat. We have had similar events in the event forums in the past, but we haven't had any lately. We've met many cool people and made many new friends from such threads. This Halloween Party thread will be open to everyone who wants to come. You can tell a friend about it if you like. I know I'll be pulling in some friends from my other guilds and hangout threads. We'll have games and prizes, and it is sure to be a fun event! And, we might even start a roleplay if we have enough people. (It would take place in this guild because it would be distracting to have something like that take place in a game thread.) Give me some feedback, and I will try my best to make this the best guild event yet! heart

Christmas is upon us, and we will soon be having our annual Christmas event! I've been busy with work, so I apologize for not advertising this sooner, but rest assured that I will have a great event ready for everyone! So, since Christmas is on the 25th, I decided to launch the party on the 18th, one week before Christmas. We will have games, prizes, and fun like we do with every event, so mark your calendars for some great fun!
Also, I would like to announce that we will be starting Secret Santa on the 12th. We had lots of support last year, and I hope that we have just as many participants this year. Secret Santa will be part of the Christmas event once it launches, but it will stay in the lobby until the 18th. Think of it as a sneak peak of what's to come. wink

*Edit - I had a Christmas party tonight, and I was at a Trans Siberian Orchestra concert last night, so I wasn't able to finish setting up the Secret Santa and Dirty Santa yet. They will both launch on the 13th instead. Sorry about the delay.

I just want to let everyone know that we WILL be having our annual summer party. It should be sometime in June. How does a beach theme sound? biggrin

We're going to be having our annual summer event, and it will most likely be sometime in June. I've been busy with the annual ball, but I haven't forgotten my wonderful guild friends! I actually think it's a pretty amazing feat that this group of people has managed to stay together for four years! heart I'll let you know later about a date.

This year's summer event will be a Japanese Summer Festival! It will be launching on Sunday or Monday. biggrin
