Tyo MeriThranduiliell Tyo MeriThranduiliell Tyo MeriThranduiliell Tyo MeriThranduiliell Tyo MeriThranduiliell Tyo No, it really isn't. I think that Boone and Shannon should get together with Hurley and Jin to make everyone on the island understand their love. It would be a very special episode. Not a heart will go untouched. Minds will open. Lives will be changed. wink And for a moment, the world will stop and take notice. And the next, all the conservatives will fall over dead. xd And only then will our job be done. xd Then we shall rule the world as well as the board! Mwahahaha! And what a sweet victory it will be!! evil It'll be especially sweet because we'll have singing muffins and Varkster cookies on our side! ninja No one would ever dare to mess with Varkster cookies! OR the singing muffins, of course. Because...how could you not like muffins? xd Unless they start singing the song from "Lamb Chop" or the Spice Girls or something. xd I would love to see the cast of Lost performing the Spice Girls! That would be AWESOME!! xd Does that mean we get to see Sawyer and Jack in miniskirts? xd

Well, deus ex machina means, I think, God from the machine, or in the machine. So maybe it has more to do with that. I hope, anyway... Please? PlotDevice!Locke isn't something I particularly want. Maybe it has something to do with the mysterious hatch?
AND YAY! Episode 23!
Damn, that means that I'll need another tape instead of just scrimping minutes on the last tape...

Tsunuffy Well, deus ex machina means, I think, God from the machine, or in the machine. So maybe it has more to do with that. I hope, anyway... Please? Damn, that means that I'll need another tape instead of just scrimping minutes on the last tape... PlotDevice!Locke. Heh. Sounds like a bad action figure. sweatdrop I'm trying to remember what I learned "deus ex machina" was last year... Aha! My boyfriend linked me to a definition: In some ancient Greek drama, an apparently insoluble crisis was solved by the intervention of a god, often brought on stage by an elaborate piece of equipment. This "god from the machine" was literally a deus ex machina. Few modern works feature deities suspended by wires from the ceiling, but the term deus ex machina is still used for cases where an author uses some improbable (and often clumsy) plot device to work his or her way out of a difficult situation. When the cavalry comes charging over the hill or when the impoverished hero is relieved by an unexpected inheritance, it's often called a deus ex machina.
