Smudge quickly slid under the lizards stomach and thrusted his sword upwards causing it to squirm in pain.

The creature appeared to melt into the ground turning into a black liquid. Then the liquid started moving toward Smudges body and attaching itself like a symbiote."H-help me guys!" his voice cracked as he curled up in pain. The lliquid started making a strange patern all over his skin until it was completely gone.

Smudge was different now he looked older and stronger than before his eye espescailly had changed it was now black around the outside and the pupils were red. "sta- stay back don't touch me!" he shouted at forde.

Redd peered out at the group. The racoon (Smidge, was it? Or maybe Scratch?) was rolling aorund on the ground getting posessed by liquid lizard.
Once again, why did they have to go after it?
Ah, revenge. He sighed and ducked down again, groping around for a rock to use if he needed to.

Auron quickly shot to arrows at the raccoon pinning him to a tree by his hands. Then Auron calmly walked up to Smudge and hit him over the head with the hilt of his sword. "That should do it for now." he said as he tied Smudge up and lifted him over his shoulder "Now wheres the nearest village?"

Forde thought for a moment, "Well," he said, "There's a mine just west of here run by Moles, a settlement of Hedgehogs on the other side to this cave, and my village a bit north of here."
