"Ah, yes. All right." Talbot responded, still very embarrassed with how he reacted. He follow Arron out of the zoo while looking at the stuffed animals and poking their bellies every now and then to appease his need to cuddle them. They were met by Atticus as they exited, and he was awake and pacing, frightening other people away from the zoo entrance. Talbot sighed, smiling softly. "Well it's about time we go before the staff come to try putting you in a cage." he said.Atticus grunted, then gave the stuffed animals a weird look.

Arron smiled at Atticus & waited to hop on his back. He still had the nagging feeling that this trip to Talbot's kingdom was going to end badly, but did not voice it.

"They're not to replace you, don't panic." Talbot said to Atticus as he pet the top of his head roughly. He then got up onto the lion's back and waited until Arron was on as well before letting Atticus know it was okay to move. Once more, they arrived back at the work shop, and Talbot was eager to start packing. "I can introduce you to all of my favourite spots as a child when we get there. It will be just like I never left." he said to Arron with a small smile.

The mechanic was not smiling. "...T-Talbot..." he said, "I-I think we-we should be-be careful on th-this trip. I-I have a-a bad feeling about it. Th-There was a-a large battlefield when I-I was th-there... It-It looked very fr-fresh." He was afraid for his friend's reaction to the truth & how it would hurt him.

A look of sadness or worry was not on Talbot's face as he heard the news, and he merely nodded, expression turning serious and understanding. "Yes, the wars have been a constant. I don't doubt they'll continue raging on forever if they aren't stopped by a peace agreement. But... that's one of the reasons I feel I have to return," he frowned, "had I not been captured by that woman, I would have been able to deliver the peace treaty as commanded of me, but I failed. I can only go back and hope to try a second time. Whether they'll agree or not is not up to me, but it's all I can do to try." Talbot looked Arron in the eyes, a certain braveness in his pale blue orbs as he spoke. "It will be dangerous, that's to be expected. If you feel you aren't up for the risk... I won't force you to come with me. This is my cross to bear, and you've already helped me more than I can ever repay you."

That statement caused Arron to smile. "T-Two idiots are b-better th-than one." he said jokingly, "I-I still want to-to come, if y-you'll have me."

"If it's your desire to accompany me, I will not stop you." the knight responded as he turned and went back to packing, using the back his father had given with provisions still inside. He was surprised to even find some gold inside, likely for him to purchase new clothing and other such amenities. It was embarrassing for him to admit, but he did not own any underwear that was appropriate, or even comfortable for that matter. That, and pants, would be the first thing he would purchase when given the chance. "Ah, please pack while you can. I'll help if you need me to."

With a nod, Arron did get to work packing. He did not need many things, just clothes & toiletries, the rest he could use his toolbox for. Arron paused, holding a few vials in his hand before glancing back to the knight.

Talbot frowned upon noticing the vials, and wanted to ask about them, but feared it would upset his friend. It took him a moment, but he decided it was best he knew just in case. He took a breath to speak, only for a knock at the door to interrupt him. The knight looked to the door, then back at Arron. "Were... you expecting someone to visit...?" he asked, hoping that was the case.

The mechanic looked as confused as the knight did. He walked to the door & opened it slightly. "H-Hello?" he asked, shielding his friend from the visitor.

A man stood at the door, looking rather short and unassuming. He had a youthful face, and bright hazel eyes beneath beautiful brown hair. A calm smile was on his face, and a collar similar to the one Talbot wore before was around his neck. In a word, he was handsome. "Afternoon. Is my mistress's pet here, by chance? Or, I guess he's probably going by Talbot right now, right?" the man asked, adjusting his silk vest on his shoulders.Talbot paused, recognizing that voice. He didn't seem distraught by it, and instead appeared merely surprised. What truly surprised him though was that this person knew his real name, and somehow knew how to find him...

He paused for a minute before saying, "...Wh-Who are y-you & wh-what b-business d-do you have on my-my property?" The mechanic was very tempted to just shut the door in the man's face.

"Oh! I didn't think you were the type to yell at strangers! I'm sorry." he smiled apologetically, submissively bowing his head. With his head bowed, he continued to speak. "I discovered that my mistress's house was burned, so I thought that must've meant Talbot regained his memories and escaped." when he righted himself again, he swept his bangs back behind both ears and out of his face.Talbot frowned, and couldn't help but speak up after that. "I'm sorry, sir, but... she's dead now. I realize she may have been an important person to you..." he said sadly."Yes, I thought that probably happened. That's why I looked for you, Talbot." the man said, trying to peek around Arron to see who he was talking to.

Arron did not trust the shorter man, causing him to stand up straighter & become an immovable rock. "So... wh-why are you looking for him? Y-You're free now y-yourself. ...H-How did you find my re-residence any w-way..?" he said. If one thing was for certain, the young man was not letting the man get to his friend.

"Oh, you've got me all wrong. I wasn't like Talbot. I was a willing sub. All of the rest of us were. It was only him that didn't want to be there." the man corrected Arron with a shake of his head. "I'm a masochist by nature. Talbot can vouch for me on that one." he added, just to be perfectly clear.Talbot blushed, but nodded his head, recalling being involved in some of his mistress's play-times with that man. Luckily, that man in particular was purely masochistic, so he never hurt the knight for fun like the other man that often came over to play."Will you let me inside, mister, or do I have to beg on my hands and knees?" the man asked, pouting. He appeared to be having fun with this back and forth conversation they were having.
