Wouldn't it be nearly impossible for this thread to die for three days when one can post just about anything they want in order to prevent the person before them from winning a large sum of gold in which they have been attempting to gain for however long they have noticed this thread?
For example, since I'm the most recent person posting this Saturday, and if somehow no one posts after me, and its been almost three days, just before the time limit, someone could post a period and that contines on with the thread for another three days until someone posts. But, since everyone wants what seems to be easy gold, they will continuously post until the end of time in hopes that they will get the gold for whatever needs that they want it for. But they won't since someone else wants that gold, and will try and prevent the previous from retrieving it at any costs. It's really such a vicious cycle that will continue, on and on, with possible no end in sight.
How long will that last? Perhaps when people begin to give up, ditching the thread after it seems impossible that they will retrieve the prize. Or perhaps when the rules change, and the creator of such a contest would eventually choose the winner of said gold to end the long, drawn-out 'contest' so everyone could rest easy.
Perhaps I am just over thinking things. Dragging the fun out of all of you nice people, well I'm asuming nice anyways, from achieving the prize. It's not everyday that one can will such an amount by doing something as simple as preventing the one above you from getting the gold by posting.
But, what I can say that this post is merely the observation of said contest. And since said contest states that one can post whatever they wish, this long, drawn out monolauge is what I plan to say.
Perhaps that is what makes some things different. I some random things, such as what was stated above. Others would do something simple as make a face and be done for the day. Perhaps I should take that road, and draw a little smiley, and be done for the day as so many other before me who may or may not achieve this marvelous prize.
Good luck to you all, and all those who attempt in the future. This is a fine challenge, and it is a long one at that. Good day to everyone, and have a fun trip. c=
