Sazs looked over at Saya and nodded. "Alright, the strings are in place. Let's set the feathers below the window." He said as he vanished, then returned with the bags of feathers. He looked up at the sun, then down at the ground. Thankfully, the place right below the window was in the shade of the trees. He took the feathers down there and placed them where Kaze would fall directly into the bags. Now, all they had to do was get Kaze inside the inn and watch the prank unfold.
Kaze raised an eyebrow at Josline. "Josline, if Kazelina is really my sister, then she can take care of herself." He explained with a shrug. "I don't see why you're in that much of a hurry to find her. Before, you hardly wanted anything to do with her." Kaze said as he shook his head and started to walk back to the inn.

"You're not hurt by Vaati, are you? You looked kind of hurt..." He said in concern. Vaati never meant to hurt anyone. He had an excuse to avoid her... well sort of. He didn't have to avoid her that much...

Ariel looked back at her shadow though she didn't really see Seth. "What? Oh...It's probably a little weird to think a tree can talk, huh?" she asked the shadow. "Well, the Great Deku Tree can. But never did tell me if I annoyed him. I just assumed so.." she said with a quiet giggle. She kind of missed the Lost Woods, The Great Deku Tree, the Kokiri...They were like her family, but she'd left for a new adventure. And did she find one.

Josline looked over at Kaze and sighed softly. She looked down at the ground as she moved over an turned and walked the other direction. "What ever, I wanted to protect you because Saya and Sazs were planning to prank you, but it looks like you're not even going to listen to me so whatever." Josline said, sighing and walked off.
"No, of course not! I'm fine." Opal said, looking up at Ezlo. "Okay... maybe I was bothered a little, but it's not Vaati's fault... maybe I'm just being too clingy and he needs his space." She moved and sat at the stairs as she sighed softly.

"That's... pretty unheard of where I come from. We we have tons of dead things, like zombies and stuff, but a talking tree is well... out there. Is it the only one of its kind?" The shadow seemed to look back at her for an answer.
"Opal, if he wasn't sick, I'm sure he wouldn't mind your company, but sometimes illness can make people act a little differently. I don't believe he's annoyed with you either." Ezlo answered softly. He wasn't sure about the illness thingy, but he always seemed a little grumpy when he was ill.

Kaze raised an eyebrow as he turned around and saw Josline walking off. "Whoa! Wait a minute! I never said I wasn't going to listen to you. In fact, I've been listening to you." He said as he caught up to her and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. "Now, what's this about a prank?" Kaze asked curiously.

Josline turned and waved her hand and showed him a window into his room. "See that yarn? Well it's going to trigger that trap, the honey." She said, then snapped her fingers and started to tell him how they were going to do. "They made you sound like you were an idiot and you were going to fall for everything after the first trap and second trap..." Josline said, looking over at him. "Maybe... there's some way to change their plans..." Josline said, excitement starting to rush through her heart.

Kaze had to squint his eyes, but he could faint see the yarn. "I see... I guess shadows really are just plain pranksters." He mumbled. But was there really a way to change their plans? "You say you want to change their plans. I don't see how that's possible, other than just not falling for the trap. If he really is my shadow, then he's just as smart as I am. I don't really think we can turn it around on them, if that's what you're suggesting." Kaze explained as he thought. Well, if they couldn't get back at the two for their scheming, then the next best thing would just be to avoid them.
Sazs had everything in place. "Alright, now where is that sad excuse for an other half?" He mumbled to himself. He looked around the corner and growled. "Damn that girl! She's ruining EVERYTHING!" He muttered as he clenched his fists. She had to go if they were going to get Kaze. "Wait... No..." Sazs laughed a little as his mind hatched a plan. "Two can play at this game, dear Josline." He murmured mischievously as he sank into the shadows.

"Well... only way to avoid them, is to fight fire with fire..." Josline said, looking around and stepped forward. "I'll make a clone of you, and Eva can hide you..." Josline said, her ears twitching when she heard a voice, but she almost half ignored it. ... What game? Is he going to turn something on me? Josline thought and grabbed his hand and vanished into the shadows, pulling him with her.

Kaze felt himself being dragged down into the shadows. "Whoa! Alright... I guess I just stay here then..." He muttered as he looked around. He could see a little bit, but the rest was just black.

Josline lead him through the shadows as she headed towards Silver's home. "Hey Silver! Me and Kaze just wanted to come see you." Josline said smiling brightly. Back in the inn, a exact copy of Josline and Kaze walked back into the inn.

Vaati stumbled downstairs, his face a little more pale than normal. It looked like his cold got worse, or developed into something else. He pushed Ezzlo down over her eyes and slowly hung the necklace around her neck, then hooked in the back. He was silent the entire time, but it was mostly due to the headache in his head more than anything else.
Dark peeked through the window. Darious had long ago disappeared from the house, but Dark found it comfortable to be in the house. He had a playmate here... it was all good. He hissed slightly at the new visitor and stalked back to the couch.

Kaze looked around. "Hm? Well, this is certainly better than just waiting in the shadows until the prank is over with." He thought as he waited for the door to open. He was curious as to how Silver and April were fairing since Arious's death.
Sazs appeared back in Kaze's room and looked at Saya. "Change in plans. Lock this room so that no one can enter, except for people like us. That girl thinks she can out-smart us, well... Let's just see how she likes it when we pull a back-up plan out and use it." He explained as he sank into the shadows again. There was something he had to find first, though.
