Maboroshi Clan-Kurogan. Clan: Kurogan is the blood inheritance limit of the Maboroshi Clan. The Maboroshi have always been a small clan but now they have been hunted near to extinction because of the fear blood limits cause in the mist country.
Overview: The Maboroshi clans were famous for their lightning jutsu. All clan members have an affinity to the lightning element and their eyes and brains have changed to better the use of it. While a typical person’s eye and brain can only capture and process approximately 500 images a second with any clarity. A well trained Kurogan user has the ability to capture and process several thousand images a second with incredible clarity. The Kurogan not only processes regular light but can see light from the entire light spectrum also called the Electro-Magnetic spectrum or EM spectrum.. (a graph of the EM spectrum is shown below.) The natural Maboroshi brain can process information at incredible speeds the only things that naturally limits a Morboroshi's overall speed are their body and eyes. The problem of limited eyesight is corrected with the activation of the Kurogan. The problem of the limited body speed is corrected through intense training. Physical training is one of the most important training aspect for Kurogan use as it doesn't matter how well or how fast they can see if their body can't keep up with their sight. The Maboroshi developed a Taijutsu fighting style that uses their Kurogan in tandem with precise control of their lighting chakra to attack their opponents nervous system. This style greatly impedes the opponents ability to move and preform hand signs.
Benefits: The benefits of the Kurogan are rather broad. It gives the nin who has inherited it the opportunity to see light from the entire spectrum through the use of 3 distinct pupils in the eye. The three pupil are 1.) The primary pupil, located in the center of the eye where a normal persons pupil is. This pupil detects “white” light and provides primary focus and zoom control for all three pupils. 2.) The secondary pupil, located where iris is. Once the Kurogan is activated the iris disperses and the second pupil forms. This pupil detects Ultraviolet, Infrared light, and electrical discharges with the first stage Kurogan. And it can detect Microwaves and X-rays once the second stage Kurogan has been activated. This pupil does have it's own focus and zoom control but it usually is governed by the primary pupil. 3.) The third and final pupil replaces the sclera when formed. It detects gamma cosmic and radio waves. Like the secondary pupil it has it's own focus and zoom control but is usually governed by the primary pupil.
Price: As with all powerfully jutsu Kurogan is not without a price. Kurogan requires an incredibly focused mind to use. With each separate pupil comes with it an entirely different layer of information to the clan members brain. And each of the pupils are broken down into sublayer of information in the form of the different forms of light that it captures. The Kurogan user must learn to regulate, filter, and understand the information processed. Often the overuse, and or misuse of Kurogan often causes the flood of information to overwhelm the clan member which can result in intense pain, brain damage, insanity, and even death. Even with regulated use mental instability is common in the Maboroshi clan. Sadly few Morboroshi are born who can use the stage 2 Kurogan and fewer still for the 3rd stage. Another weakness of the Kurogan is although it can see telescopically and in the advanced stages almost in 360 degrees each pupil can only focus on one point at a time. A Kurogan user can only focus on a maximum of 6 points (one for each pupil) and with each added point of focus requires more concentration on the user and extensive use carries risks of further mental instability.

There are three stages of the Kurogan eye. (dormant doesn't count)
Dorment Kurogan eye.
While dormant the clan members eye looks like a normal eye. But it can see an average of 1,000 images a second, around twice that of a normal eye. It has a Glossy black pupil, a pigmented iris, and a white sclera.
Stage1-2 Kurogan eye.
The First and Second stage of the Kurogan appear so similar in appearance they are often mistakenly thought of as the same stage.
The activation of the first stage (1 chakra point to activate)
Stage 1 description: To the untrained eye the activation of the first stage looks like the clan members Pupil expands to encompass the entire Iris of the eye. But in actuality a second and completely separate glossy black Pupil is formed over the Iris. As the second pupil is formed the primary pupil becomes a matte black indicating it is absorbing more light so their isn't enough light to escape and cause it to shine, in contrast to the glossy black of the second pupil. The sclera remains white.
Stage 1 effect: Both pupils can see around 3,000 images a second. The first pupil gains increased clarity and can focus on images telescopically. The second pupil can detect and absorb Infrared and Ultraviolet light as well as detect any electricity within it's line of site. It can also view objects telescopically as well as widening the clan members peripheral vision slightly, but it is seen as a blurry after image rather than the crystal clear images it sees in it's direct line of site. As the clan member can see electricity it is a given that they can see the electric pulses in there opponents nervous system and brain.
The activation of the second stage (takes 2 chakra points to activate)
Stage 2 description: The only outward noticeable change between the first and second stages are that the secondary pupil changes from a glossy black to a matte black.
Stage 2 effect: Both pupils can now see around 7,000 images a second. The secondary pupil can now see and absorb X-rays, and Microwaves. The user now has its peripheral vision increased to almost 225 degrees.
Stage 3 Kurogan eye
The activation of the third stage takes 3 chakra points to activate
Stage 3 description: The third stage of the kurogan eye forms a third pupil where the sclera is on a normal eye. And unlike the other two pupils when it is formed it starts out as matte black.
Stage 3 effect: All three pupils can now see 16,000 images a second. The new third pupil can now detect and absorb gamma, cosmic, and radio waves. The user now has a nearly 360 degree field of peripheral vision.

Dendou Ryuu – electric transmission Style
Character Use: Maboroshi Clan
Dendou Ryuu is a fighting style developed by the Manoroshi clan to efficiently utilize the Kurogan in combat. It combines their ability's of sight and their use of Lighting chakra to better attack and defend. Mostly a defensive style by nature the fundamental elements are the use of the Kurogan to see the opponents nerves system and polaric energy that their enemy's chakra creates. The user uses lightning chakra to create a magnetic pulse that is exactly the opposite the kind that the enemy's chakra creates naturally, timing is crucial (costs 2cp for every successful block). These magnetic pulses are also used to block incoming metal objects (I E a kunai) by identifying the magnetic properties of the metal and repulse it.(1 cp for every successful repulse). There is also an attacking side of the Dendou Ryuu, using their lighting chakra the clan member will attack their opponents nervous system. A successful attack will render the part of the opponents body that was hit paralyzed as it will damage the flow of electrons in the nervous system. Clan members also attack the organs by “overloading” them and shutting them down (a full powered attack to the heart will stop it completely). The damage to the nervous system is more severe with a higher stage of the Kurogan active (1 chakra point for every successful attack)

effect: Seishou gekitai is a taijutsu technique unique to users of the kekkai genkai Kurogan. When a clan member is attacked they use the Kurogan to analyze the attackers energy produced by it's chakra. Once successfully analyzed the clan member blocks the attack with an electrical pulse that is the exact opposite of the attackers energy. The result is the attacker is forcefully repelled backward from the force of the repelling forces.

effect: Kinzoku Gekitai is a taijutsu technique unique to users of the kekkai genkai Kurogan. When a clan member is attacked or threatened by a metallic object(i.e. a kunai or katana) they use the Kurogan to identify the magnetic properties of the metal and creates where the object will connect with them a pulse of magnetic energy the exact opposite of that of the metal somewhere . The momentum of the metal is added to the repulsive force and and is hurled away from the clan member.

effect:A ninjutsu skill unique to the user of the kekkai genkai Kuroga. After anilizeing the properties of a few handfulls of shuriken. The clan member will envelope their electrically charged chakra over the shuriken. In short this causes the shurinken so easy to manipulate all is needed is the slightest thought and the shuriken affected will obey the clan members will. Without any specific orders from the clan member the shuriken will orbit around the members body.

Similar to the flight of shuriken but instead of controlling several handfuls of shuriken the clan member controls several hundered handfuls of shuriken. There are so many shuriken that swarm around them that the user is obscured from view for the most part. The clan member can only see out of the swarm is the power of their Kurogan.
