Thanks for the compliment on the sig! I think that the similarities with my sister might not be as close as they look on the surface. She's an Aggie: and Agricultural Engineer from Texas A & M. And, after four kids, she's a SUPER MOM. She's got a kid going to Brown who built her own yatch. Her second is in the Olympic ice skating dancing and on her way to being a nuts and bolts engineer of some sort. The third's ranching this year in California and is learning Turkish with Peace Corps workers. And her son plays kids roles in the repertoire theatre at Yale. My sister has a Winnabago and drives these kids every where they need to go. She home schooled them. Enough about me.
What kind of engineer do you want to be?

What kind of engineer do you want to be? Computer/Electrical engineer, but what I really want to do is minor in Business, get my MBA, and with a degree in engineering (supposedly one of the hardest undergraduate programs, not to mention my school is on the quarter system) and my MBA, combined with about five years work experience as a field manager, I bet I could go to any job I want and be a manager there. Basicially, if you can't learn to do every job, be a manager!

Or its a glitch that has yet to be fixed, probably due to coolness.

Sup, Anuminus. Anyway, welcome.
So we're talking about the Harry Potter series. I read I think the first 3. Has the series been getting darker since their starting audience is aging?
I'd really like to know.

It would be bizzare if the author was changing her style as her "audience" got older. People young and old read the Harry Potter series, so logically this wouldn't occur. Although I actually have no idea because I have only read the first book which I was reading to some kids that I was baby sitting.

I don't want to give anything away but a giant character (No, not Hagrid) gets killed in Book 6. I finished it last night at 4:16 am. /me is crazy... domokun I finished it in 27 hours, and I still took breaks. I could have done it faster but I was running a avatar contest on gaia at the same time. confused Hi Launcher, xp Its gotten a lot darker and book six sets a uncertain (Very unstable time) for book seven. I definately recommend the book. Launcher, next time I come over I'll let you borrow it. mrgreen My mum is reading it right now though. sweatdrop It's a great book though I'm a little depressed by it. Like in book 5 with Sirius dying. crying

I'd really like to know. the series is getting darker becuase the plot is thickening and Voldemort [the main villian] is gains a little more power with each book.

Hee hee harry potter? I have a freind that is obsessed with that series but hates the movies and refuses to watch them at all costs. Its actually amusing to see her act up sometimes at a movie party when we vote on watching a HP movie, just to piss her off razz
