The mechanic smiled fondly at the sight, being reminded of his late mother. He watched quietly so the mother & cub would not be disturbed.

The mother bear took to her cub easily, and it seemed to be a happy reunion. Talbot smiled softly, then turned to face Arron.
"I'd like to depart for the white castle as soon as we're able. Ah... if you'd like to accompany me, that is." he stated. He wished to see his mother and father again, and was eager to head home finally.

"I-I'd love to come w-with you..." said Arron, with a small smile. He felt uneasy about the trip however because of the reaction from the king & guards that Talbot's return would get. Knowing there was no way he could talk him out of it, he would be there for his friend.

The knight did not catch Arron's apprehension, and smiled with a nod.
"Then it's settled. We'll pack some necessary provisions, then be on our way tomorrow morning.. ah, if you're okay with leaving so soon. You still aren't at full health yet." he frowned a little at the mention of it.

The mechanic nodded. "I-I'm up for the journey... I-I'm k-kind of like a r-roach... N-No matter how many t-times y-you try I-I keep coming back." he said with a chuckle.

The knight nodded a bit with a small smile.
"Then we should be on our way to get ready. Atticus has probably become impatient by now," Talbot said, then scratched his cheek, "ah... but first I'd like to say goodbye to the penguins. I may not see them again for a very long time. Then you may check out the gift shop a you suggested."

The young man nodded & would follow. His mind on other things, mainly his scheme at the gift shop. He figured Talbot was either going to enjoy his little plot, or hit him on the back of the head for it.

Talbot waved at the penguins once they reached the enclosure again, and smiled brightly when one of them seemed to wave back with a flipper. He finally tore himself away from them after a bit more staring, then headed for the gift shop.
"Ah, I'll wait for you out here." he said, standing at the door to the shop. He tried on animal hats that were by the door.

There was a slight chuckle of a response as Arron slipped inside. It was not long before he returned with a small gift wrapped box. Handing them to Talbot he said cheerfully, "H-Here you go!"

"Ah... what?" the knight looked at the box with surprise, dumbfounded. He wasn't sure what to do at first.
"It's.. for me? Should I open it? Ah, what's it for?" he asked. He didn't think he'd done anything deserving of a gift, and it wasn't a special occasion.

The wait would have been too much for him, so he quickly; but carefully, opened the box up to see what he'd been given out of nowhere.

Inside was two stuffed animals, one a penguin & the other was a lion cub. They were not terribly large, but large enough to hug & carry around. Arron smiled waiting for Talbot's reaction.

Talbot staaared at them for a long while before he took them in his arms and gave them a tight snuggle.
"They're adorable! It's like a real penguin! And just like Atticus when he was little. Thank you very much!" he chuckled, smiling brightly before regarding them again with adoration for their well designed forms. Once he noticed how happy he seemed about receiving stuffed animals, he turned bright red and hid his face behind them. A knight was not supposed to act that way around cute things.He cleared his throat and puffed his chest out.
"Ah... thank you Arron. I like them." he said, forcing his voice to sound deeper to try and regain some manliness.

The reaction caused Arron to smile, & laugh. "It-It's okay to like a-a stuffed an-animal. No one is-is going to-to judge you. I-I even have a-a few my-myself." he said grinning, "Sh-Shall we-we head back n-now?"
