And Kyumi has, once again, shown us Lion power, by exploding THREE times.

... Kyumi reminds me of Shosuro Noriko, my character from my Monday night game. She's built like a courtier, acts like a courtier, thinks she's a courtier...
But put her in a violent situation and she can't stop rolling 10's.

It seems like the dice have their own plans for the characters.
Player 1: I'm going to be a close in bushi that... Dice: WRONG! you're the party's archer. Accept it!
Player 2: I'm going to be a stealthy tracker type who.... Dice: WRONG! You're the party's face. Accept it!
And so on and so forth.

If I am ever forced to resort to archery, and start rolling 10s left and right, I will worship the diceroller as a living and sentient entity of power.

Unless you're Gruul... then you tell the dice to s**t down and shut up and one shot the boss fight that the DM had been hyping up for who knows how many sessions.
Anyways, go Kyumi!

I saw a Punpun in a campaign once. He lasted for about all of ten seconds when he hit the appropriate level. The DM declared that the Punpun character's power was too big for his frame to contain and made his head go splodey. The Player had to make a new character.

But seriously, that was a great game. We made the DM go "I didn't expect you to fight the damn thing." a few times.. before he finally realized that we're PCs, we do stuff like take on the 3 flying cr 4 creatures at level 1, despite all odds against us... and win.
I hope Rain figures out that we might do stuff like that here.

One that shouldn't have been born. Isn't Eternality_Cannon running a campaign here that involves Punpun?

Urk. The DM worked my poor Half Celestial's keister off in that campaign. Tiw earned his LAs. No matter what any one else says.

True, without him, we probably wouldn't have gotten out of a few of those messes. Course, without big bewbed bard, we would have had an even harder time in them.

Also, if it comes up, the number of Daidoji Guards on the premises is "enough". 4laugh
