 H a w k p a w“Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.”___________________________[Hawkpaw grinned wildly at Thunderpaw, but his eyes betrayed his exhaustion. He sat up, feeling his paw pads throb with a dull pain. He glanced at Riverfang with a glint of surpise in his eyes.]
“Thank you, Icestorm...It means a lot to me that I can at least live up to my words...And you to, Riverfang. And Thunderpaw, would you mind sharing a meal with me, rather than fight? I haven't eaten anything since...a while ago.”
[He gave her another half-smile, too tired to really try to put up a fight. Now, he just hoped the young she-cat wouldn't tease him for being lazy.]
(( @Timber- I think Hawkpaw is a bit winded at the moment, lol. o___e;; ))

[Riverfang smiled and padded off with Brightspirit to find a nice patch of sunshine]
"See? I can handle things perfectly fine by myself"
[She snorted]
"Perfectly fine wouldn't be the term I'd use. You nearly caused a fight with Hawkpaw. And cats say I have a bad temper? They should see you"
[She smiled and poked him with her tail to let him know she was joking]

___________________________________________ [Silverstar eased herself out of her den, and arched her back in a luxurious stretch. Her eyes held her only feeling: the sorrow of her lost mate, Icefire. She had thought about what Moonkit and Thunderpaw had said, and realized many warriors don't give the younger cats their deserved respect, as some are quite intelligent, unlike some scatterbrained warriors. She had hoped she would make contact with StarClan in her nap. Silverstar couldn't wait to tell Starpelt what StarClan had shared with her!
The slender silver cat slid out from behind the Fernhill and looked around the camp. She realized witha jolt she had to name the deputy!]
"Autumnfall! Come, now!"
[The order rang out in the camp. Silverstar padded forward when Autumnfall's pretty orange head popped out of the warriors' den. She signaled to the she-cat.]
"Go get the cats in the training hollow. I want all of them here. Now, go!"
[Silverstar watched with pride as the young warrior bounded off to find the cats. She turned her head and padded over to Cindermoon. She nodded respectfully, as she always did to a fellow warrior. She felt as if she was not their superior; she simply wanted to lead her Clan but not have her Clanmates feel that she was superior. Though she did not like it when they questioned her judgement, she always took into consideration their opinions.
She grabbed a small thrush from the seemingly overfull fresh-kill pile and settled down next to Cindermoon to eat. She gulped the thrush, then got up and shook herself and bent her head to give herself a quick grooming.]
((You know what I've noticed? No one has been sharing tongues! Lulz, we should do that more often XD)) _________________________________________

 (Eh?!?! eek Well, truth b told i havent Rp'd in any fantasy things yet...)
IceStorm nodded at Hawkpaw. "You are a strong apprentice Hawkpaw. A little training could take you a long way as a warrior." Seeing that hawkpaw was hungry she nodded. "You can go eat if you wish. We can continue at sunset alright?" She told her apprentice.

((I'm RPing as an NP chara for now, just to get things going.))
[Autumnfall nodded quickly and raced out of camp. She swiveled her ears and caught voices in the training hollow. She veered that way, her paws skidded as she ran. She skidded to a stop and saw about 5 cats there. She took a deep breath, her orange coated sides heaving.]
"Silverstar...sent...me..."
[Autumnfall stopped to catch her breath. She started again.]
"Silverstar sent me to fetch you. We're naming the new deputy!"
[Autumnfall's eyes glittered with excitement. She flicked her tail for the cats to follow, and then bounded back to camp. When they all made it into camp, she looked around for Silverstar. When she found her, the silver she-cat had already seen the cats and was padding toward the Fernhill.]

IceStorm saw that Autunmfall was here. When she heard what she said Icestorm nodded. "We better get going." She said to the others. She began padding towards the camp entrance. she found Firestorm and sat next to him under the fernhill.

___________________________________________ [Silverstar leapt on top of the Fernhill, the green fronds soft on her paws. She yowled the familiar call.]
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Fernhill for a Clan meeting!"
[Since most cats were already gathered, she continued without stopping. She signaled to Cindermoon.]
"I say these words before StarClan, so that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice. Cindermoon will be the new deputy of StormClan."
[Silverstar leapt back down and went to congratulate her friend and the new deputy.] _________________________________________

 Firestorm nodded as icestorm sat down next to him. he heard silverstar apoint the deputy. "how did training go?" he asked. "it went well. hawkpaw is a strong apprentice, he will make a fine warrior." he heard Icestorm say.

As far as he thought, Cindermoon deserved to be deputy. He purred softly, his tail flicking in mind delight as he sat a few tail-lengths behind his mentor and Firestorm. Today was a good day, he thought, and finally, he was a few pawsteps closer to becoming a warrior.]

Starpelt let out a small purr.Cindermoon is a great choice for deputy,she thought.She tilted her head just a bit in thought.Silverstar must have something to tell me.Oh!That reminds me,I must speak with her about Moonkit and I going to the Moonpool for Moonkit's Ceremony. [Starpelt padded over to Silverstar and the new deputy.She dipped her head to the cats.]"Congratulations,Cindermoon.Silverstar,I must speak with you if you aren't too busy." she mewed.

[Riverfang smiled, even though Cindermoon probably didn't know him, it was the right thing to do]

Starpelt took a deep breath and asked,"Could I take Moonkit to the Moonpool and make her my apprentice? I know it isn't the right time,but she said she is ready;not to mention,we need her skills to help us find the cure to the Madness." [Starpelt signaled Silverstar to talk because she thought Silvarstar looked ready to explode if she didn't tell her.Well,she thought.]

"You two may go to the Moonpool tomorrow. You should leave at dawn."
[Silverstar fixed her green gaze on the medicine cat, and began.]
"StarClan spoke to me last night. Icefire came to me. He thanked me for...killing him. He hunts well with StarClan. He told me that there is a cure for the Madness, but not even StarClan themselves know where. He said to keep the next victim of the Madness and try to trace the infection. I don't know what it all means! Has some other Clan found the cure? Is it a plant? Where could it be?"
[Silverstar's meow grew desperate. Her voice grew calmer as she spoke again.]
"Something is punishing us. Thanks StarClan we haven't had an infection for a while." _________________________________________
