Jacie's eyes filled with tears as she ran over to the shot boy lying on the sand. After brushing his brown short curly hair out of his face, Jacie turned back to the bright red-haired man. "What the hell?!"

Marcus laughed " Oh what don't tell me this saddens you, there just a couple of weak fools why would it matter what happens to them?" he asked putting the bloody blade on his shoulder " Its just the tip of the iceburg Jacie...if this makes you sad imagine what will happen later when things heat up." he said and laughed nothing but madness in his icy blue eyes.

Lylla felt her phone vibrate in her pocket and she reached down to get it. Upon looking at the caller ID, Lylla noticed that it was the station calling. "Agent Miller." Lylla listened intently to the voice on the other end of the line. Not long after she'd picked it up, Lylla tapped the END button on the touch screen. "There's been a shooting in Olivine."

Marcus smiled " And it goes much further than that." he said " We'll get what we need from you and until you do we'll continue to destroy everything..dear to you or not.' he said before he had to move out of the way of the bullet the other Marcus fired and smiled " We'll deal with you later murderer." he said and vanished into a large crowd of people. Marcus looked at Jacie and keeled down " I'm sorry miss legend ...I wish I could do something but I don't have that ability." he said " If I could have stopped him I would have." he said.

Jacie looked up and saw another one of her friends standing in between two fallen ice cream cones, staring down with teary eyes at Trent's body.
"Vanessa... I-I'm so sorry... Th-There wasn't anything I could do..." Jacie stuttered.
Vanessa simply shook her head and knelt down on the opposite side of Trent's body.
"Marshall! Don't just sit there! Let's go!" Lylla screamed at the lump that was sitting on the barstool in front of her.

Marshall jumped up " We might as well go check it out however I don't have a good feeling about it..." he said " I know Jacie and Marcus are safe....why do I get the feeling once we arrive its only going to get worse?" he said to himself and shook his head " Lets goo their gonna want us there just in case anyway." he said.

Jacie nodded and rested Trent's head in Vanessa's lap and took off running. Jacie didn't know where she was going, and honestly didn't care. But she knew Vanessa was right. She had to get out. For that man was after her. And so was Aegis. And if Aegis had his way, things weren't going to be pretty.

Marcus looked at Vanessa for a moment and all of a sudden he got the image of Jacie dying again. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath as he walked over to her " He won't get away with it." he said to her before he took off running after Jacie. He never thoguht Team Omni was capable of such thing but they were, even Jacie hadn't sunk down to just murdering people to get what she wanted but this guy was different..he was much worse than Keri and Marcus shuddered to think about what would happen if someone was to take Keri's place and be like this guy.

When Lylla and Marshall arrived in Olivine, the beach had already been cleared and two teenagers were left on the beach enclosed in the police tape.

"I think this has everything to do with Jacie." Lylla crossed her arms as a few of the Olivine officers questioned a few of the bystanders.
"Lylla! Marshall!" Jacie screamed as she burst through the doors of her home. All was quiet. Of course it was, there was a murder taking place. They'd be out at the scene. Jacie quickly scrawled out a letter and threw a few more things into her bag, including the bullet she'd been shot with, and the one she normally wore around her neck. With one last look at her safe haven, Jacie took off running once more. As soon as she was far enough away from the rebuilding city, Jacie threw a pokeball into the air and a Dragonite appeared with a flash of white. Jacie ran up to him and hopped onto his back and the duo flew off.

Marcus flew beside her on a charizard " You know this is a terrible decision...and running away won't do you any good." he said crossed crossed as he looked straight ahead. He knew the risk of Jacie dying all over again was high if she didn't but if its one thing that would make things worse it was running even if she was seemingly doing it for a noble reason or thought it was brave in her head. Marshall sighed " I knew it but what do we do now?" he asked " I don't think we can actually find the killer as mostly likely it was Team Omni and we have never found one of their operatives before.' he said and shook his head " This is getting weird." he said.

I hate to say it, but we'll just have to wait until someone else dies. Then maybe we'll be able to scrounge up a clue. But until then..." Lylla trailed off. She didn't need to explain this to Marshall. He already knew all of this anyway.

I'm not going to let this happen." Jacie shook her head. "Why am I telling you this? For all I know this 'second dimension' story of yours could be a boat load of garbage. You could be working for them!" Jacie called over the wind as it started to grow stronger, but it didn't seem as though it was a problem for Dragonite. "Forget I ever said anything."
Lylla crossed her arms. "Well I highly doubt they'll strike again tonight. A bit too distracting. And if they're wanting to torture Jacie, like I think they are, they'll wait and make her wonder who she's going to loose next. You know how she is when she doesn't know things." Lylla was more than concerned for Jacie. Jacie was strong, yes. But she was terribly hasty and reckless. If someone wasn't there helping her, Jacie could get seriously hurt. And Trent Ludlum's death and the many more that were to come were all going to be in vain. But at this point, Lylla knew that all she could do was stand here and watch.
