Sarri scrambled off the bench, eyes wide with fear. She took a step back, towards the back wall.
"I'm not so important. I'm no threat. I lost my sword in battle..." She found the words that were tumbling out of her mouth disgusting. She swallowed hard and tried to stand her ground. I'm stronger than this. I can do this. I've managed through life so far. I can do this. I'm not a wimp. She scolded herself.
"Michael..." She whispered as she took in his broken self. "...who'd have thought... A heartless warrior is not a warrior at all. A cruel one is just a bully." She found herself slipping into her sarcastic self defense technique. "Why bother with just a regular old Hylian soldier?" she inquired with another step backwards. "I was only protecting... err, trying to protect Sunoka." she whispered.

"Link, my ocarina is kinda different then yours... When I play Epona's Song... I teleport to the Lon Lon Ranch. But when I play prelude of light I get blasted my magic... It gets annoying when I want to teleport somewhere useful... Like a temple or something." Dark said while looking at it. "I think it's broken... Do you think it is?"

Tenebre just had a smile in his eyes.
"you honestly think I do it for obligation, for a purpose? I have ways of choosing what targets? The answer, my dear little organic 'soldier', is that I hurt and kill when I want to. Now I can physically hurt you, and emotionally because you'll be attacked by someone you trusted. Now, Michael, I want her alive, but I want her to be unrecognizable even when she heals to her friends. Do you think you can do that to our little prisoner?"
Michael's posture suddenly went from simply slouching to a ready stance, his whole body seeming to come alive and tensed up. But his aura, his visible eye, it still looked so dead and haunted. A split second later he was trying to claw at Sarri's face, feigning a low, spinning kick before rising back up with his hand open.

Sarri jumped back, dodging Michael's attack, but his claws were a hairsbreadth away from her chest. Skidding to a stop a yard away, she ducked another swipe from Michael.
"Michael!" she gasped as she jumped back once again, now with her back to the wall. There was a whistle by her ear as his claws once again barely missed her as she swayed to the side.
"You're insane." She hissed at Tenebre as Michael advanced again.

Tenebre seemed to find that extremely humorous, laughing out loud.
"Actually, I'm not, I'm just ahead of the evolutionary curve. Trust me, when all is said and done, and you humans are down to the wire with nothing left...you'll make me look civilized."
He recalled the time, hundreds of years ago, when he would keep prisoners in a single dungeon with only a littl ebit of water and food every few days. He remembered how, when one of their kind couldn't defend themselves and was injured...they tore him to pieces and ate him.
Michael made another quick swipe, this one laced with dark energy that leaped off his hand. He made a swift jab with his other hand, and tried to trip her with a kick to her legs.

Sarri gasped as the shock of the dark energy sparked through her nerves. She felt his claws rake her skin along her upper chest and neck. Luckily, they didn't go deep enough to cause collateral damage. She collapsed as Michael's foot collided with the back of her knee. She bore through the pain and rolled as he kicked her again.
"Insanity and necessity are two very different things." She growled through clenched teeth. She glared at him and endured another swipe from Michael, this one across her back. She struggled to her feet. Her tunic was in tatters, but her modesty remained intact. Her blue eyes were full of hatred towards him.
She let loose a loud scream as Michael loaded more dark energy into the next attack.

Michael jumped back at the scream, then dove for her legs. At the last moment, he rolled to the side, did a somersault, then pushed back to his feet, jumping onto the wall and throwing light and dark energy darts at Sarri. When he hit the ground, he resumed his dive once more for her legs.
Tenebre shook his head as if Sarri was a student who wasn't understanding a simple lesson.
"Human are animals, take away that 'intelligence' and those things you call 'dignity' and 'virtues', and humans will be little more than animals, following their instincts to fight and kill. Many say that if women ran the world, there would be no war at all. Thats not true, its in all human nature to fight, though males seem to be a bit more aggressive. I also noticed one more thing about you humans..."

Sarri mustered her strength to dodge the energy darts. She skipped to the side as Michael went for her legs again.
"It's in human nature to find peace. Animals have their own dignity. Animals are more intelligent than you think. It's not always the 'survival of the fittest'. All creatures have their own honor code. It may not-" She dodged another attack, her limbs weak, but she was gaining strength as she spoke. "-seem to be very orderly at first, but if you look hard, you can see mutual respect. Sacrifices are made, yes, but it is the circle of nature. Farore's intent." She leaped back again, gasping in pain as blood seeped from her wounds.

Dark stood there for a second. He realized Link hadn't noticed him. "I think I might know where they're at... Link you wouldn't know the tune to teleport there though. Do you mind if I go Hero for once?" Dark asked Link.

Link was distracted. "Um, uh, sure, I guess. Just don't get killed. The fun's not over yet." He bit his lip, praying that Sarri, Michael and Sunoka were okay for not, at least. He turned to Zelda. "I'm ready."

Tenebre just shook his head, as if she just failed a test miserably.
"Well then, go off in your own little world of 'virtues' and 'justice' because all they are is 'beliefs', or something you put your hope in. Do you know what hope is? Little lies we tell ourselves so we don't go made at the reality of the universe. No one will care if you live or die, girl, but everyone always remembers those who showed the world that chaos is all there is. People like me will be remembered forever in fear."
Michael saw the split-second of her distraction, mostly the gasp, and quickly took it, making a slash to her throat and vertically slashing her stomach to disembowel her from neck to waist.

"If I do die... I'll most likely appear in your shadow... or at the bottom of Lake Hylia... Where we first fought. But here I go." Dark started to play a very eerie tune on the ocarina. When he finished shadows from nearby walls sprang out and pulled him into the ground. "See ya guys!" He said as he went into them. Dark then felt himself getting pulled across the land and through the ocean. He finally felt himself get pulled back into the realm of Light to find himself standing at the base of one of Hyrule Castle's towers. "Alright... This should be the tower that the dungeon is in. Now I'll know how Link feels about the dungeons."
Dark went into the tower to find it was completely dark. "Wow... How was I supposed to expect this... Talk about easy." Dark's vision quickly adjusted to the major change in lighting, then his hearing expanded to all of the shadows of the tower. He heard a conversation it sounded like Tenebre and Sarri. "Grrr... That hunk of metal again..." Dark started running up the stairs to get to the top.

"Forget you." She turned around just in time to be hit by Michael in the back. A screech so loud that Sarri was almost sure that anyone in the castle could hear, and wasn't sure if it came out of her own throat, came loose.
I don't know if I can go on any longer. For the love of Nayru! Goddesses! Please, help! She sent forth the desperate plea. Before I completely loose heart!

Duo laughed crazily. "Sweet and innocent Sunoka. Did you really think that I would let you go anyway? You are stuck here with me. Like it or Lump it." He raised an eyebrow when he saw her hand shaking. Had he really scared her that bad? He felt almost sorry. He jerked. What was going on? If he didn't know any better, he would have said that he had felt emotions. He ignored the small voice in his head tell him that. It wasn't possible for him to feel emotions again... was it?

Tenebre seemed to take in the scream, then started to walk forward.
"Humans are a plague on this world, simply breeding in one area until its too crowded and going on to the next. Only a virus does that. You humans are s-"
From the screech, Michael's hard drive characterized it as a cry for help and told him to search for any abnormal beings close enough to have caused it, and Tenebre had just stepped into that radius, making Michael's next moves be directed at Tenebre. I must help her...
He suddenly flipped, brought his fists up, then brought them down on the unsuspecting being's head, then kicked off of him and flipped backwards, in mid-flip throwing energy before stopping to observe.
Tenebre's arm suddenly whipped out of the smoke and grabbed Michael, his eyes blazing with anger.
"Looks like I'm going to need to 'train' you a bit more, you disobedient mutt."
Tenebre stormed off, draggin Michael who seemed to stare at Sarri with a small twinkle that became extinguished almost immediately. The door slammed shut and Michae was lost from view....
