Sandra looked around the foyer and listened to Michelle. "Neat. Maybe I could take a peek in there sometime. I bet the animals in there will be different from the ocean." She inferred before being noticed by Michelle's family. A man around Michelle's age, Thomas Goodheart, introduced himself first. "Hello Thom- I mean, Mr. Goodheart." Sandra corrected herself, unsure of whether or not a teacher would prefer to be called by their first name. "Sorry about that. My name's Alessandra, but you may call me Sandra." Sandra introduced, wondering what beverage he was drinking. Before she could dwell on it too much, A young man in his teens came downstairs. "Woah! You're hair is blue like mine. That's so cool!" She burst with excitement before clearing her throat, trying to contain herself. "Sorry, Albert. All of this is a lot to take in. I go by Sandra. It's nice to meet you." Sandra greeted, hoping she was making a good first impression.

"Michelle's right, I should probably head up." She told Albert and Thomas Goodheart before receiving a small tour of the house. "I'm sure I'll talk to you guys again in a few." Sandra stated before Michelle showed her where the bathrooms are. "I'll probably just get cleaned up here since it's closer to the master bedroom." Sandra continued, choosing to use the upstairs bathroom. Sandra put down her ukulele somewhere safe on a shelf of towels near the bathroom door. It had a ribbon belt that allowed Sandra to carry the ukelele on her back if she needed. Taking in the new scenery and the citrus scent of a nearby air-freshener, looked around the room to try and remember what her tutor had taught her shortly before she left her kingdom.Was I supposed to come in here yet, or keep following Michelle? There's so much to take in.

"Oh, alright. I'll be here." Sandra replied, glad she was in the right place. She didn't want to get scolded on her first day and ruin their impression of her. "Thanks again, I should be alright for now." Sandra finished before Michelle closed the door.
To get cleaned up, Sandra headed for the shower and took a look. There were a number of colored bottles labeled; "Shampoo, Conditioner, and Bodywash." She read the names aloud to herself and read the labels carefully. Okay, I think I know what to do..

After figuring out what to use in order to get cleaned up, Sandra removed the clothing she was wearing at the beach and put them in the hamper. After stepping in the shower, she closed the curtain and attempted to figure the switches out. "H & C? I think that means hot and cold." Sandra told herself, turning on the faucet and setting it to cold. She'd adjust the temperature a little as she went to make sure the water wasn't dangerously hot for an Cold-weather mermaid like herself.

After using the variety of soap to get cleaned up, Sandra didn't take too long at all. Some of the towels Michelle brought were placed on top of her ukulele, but it seemed unharmed, so Sandra didn't mind. After wrapping the towel around herself, Sandra left the bathroom to find Michelle in the master bedroom.

"Oh okay. Thank you." Sandra answered, taking the clothes and heading back into the bathroom. She closed the door like Michelle did so she'd have some privacy. After putting on the undergarments, the rest of the outfit consisted of Jeans, a t-shirt, and a hoodie. Once Sandra was done getting dressed completely, she made her way back to the master bedroom. "Hello, thanks again for letting me borrow these clothes. They're pretty comfortable." Sandra started once she entered the room.

Sandra smiled back. "Sure, what did you have in mind? I'd be willing to help cook if you want." Sandra replied, curious about human cuisine.

Sandra's smile changed to an expression of curiosity. "Sandwiches? Sounds good, but what kind of ingredients do you guys use?" Sandra asked, fidgeting slightly as she tried to remember if she even had one. Any contact she had with humans before the Goodhearts was through her half-mermaid friend, Opal. "I'm not sure if I've tried a sandwich before."

Soon, Sandra was escorted to the kitchen downstairs. The ingredients described by Michelle sounded familiar. "Hm, they all sound good." she started, a bit indecisive. "Maybe I'll start with Turkey and Cheese." Sandra decided as she began to set the table. The floor under the table had small scratches, likely evidence of chairs being moved around. After setting up three spots on the table for the Goodhearts, Sandra froze when she was asked about her family. She had to stop herself from dropping the porcelain plate and cup she was holding. "Well. I did." She replied after a moment of hesitation.

"I'm from the Baltic Sea, not far from Stockholm. My friend Opal lives there." Sandra added before placing the plate and cup on a fourth spot at the table. "My mom and dad managed a kingdom in the Baltic Sea. Right now it's split between the North and the South. After mom died, my Dad was more focused on the kingdom than on me. I also found this necklace." She continued, pointing to the pearl necklace. In the center was a silver shell with the "Never give up" inscription in french. It was slightly dotted with water, evidence that she worn it in the shower.

"When dad found out I had human objects, he destroyed everything except my Ukulele. I knew I wasn't his daughter anymore, so I left. My cousin is the Prince of the Southern Baltic sea. I know he'll manage." Sandra explained. "When I showed Opal the necklace after running away, she told me to try finding the owner. This is France, right?" After her explanation, Sandra sighed. She wondered how her friend and cousin were. "Has it always been just you three?"

Sandra shrugged.. "It's okay, really. Leaving the ocean was my choice." She said before curiously watching Michelle make a Turkey and Cheese sandwich. "Hey, that looks pretty easy to make. Thanks for showing me." Sandra answered with a lighthearted smile as she received the plate of food. "What do you have to drink?" She asked.
