Eric smiled widely. "Peppermint!" He said petting the dog. "How are you little buddy? Have you seen namine lately? Are you hungry?" He asked the dog.

Eric smiled and looked through the cabinets. He eventually found the dog food. He knelt down and petted peppermint and took the bowl to fill it. The bowl was filled and eric set it down in front of peppermint.

Eric chuckled. "ello lovely," he whispered with his best Lawrence impression. He squatted down near Namine. "It seems we've got a battle on our hands. The heads are up in the great hall rallying troops. The enemy is unknown and there is a high chance we will be injured. That's never stopped us before right?" He chuckled. "So, I assume we can count on you and Kirune to help? Where is she anyway?"

Eric coughed to clear his throat. "I really wish you wouldn't do that. Sleeping potions will mess up your brain chemistry if you overdose. I really don't want you dying for some shut eye," he said concernedly in his normal voice. "As for how long you were out, I have no idea. I just got back here today after who knows how long and this happens," he said. He touched Namine's head. "Are you alright?"

Eric sighed. "I'm Eric. It appears damage has already been done," he stood up. "I have to make a phone call. Lawrence is already in the great hall if you want to see him. Go there as soon as your able to move," he said.

Eric picked up the phone and pressed numbers. After a few seconds a voice came on the other end. "H-Hello?" the voice said.

Eric rubbed Namine's hair as she slept. He quickly stood up and walked away when cordinia picked up.
"Hey there coriander. Yeah, we're in a pickle here and need fighters,"
"It's 6 am here. What chaos did you unleash now?"
"Why do you blame me for this?"
"Since Lawrence isn't there with you,"
"I'm coming to pick you up,"
"Don't bother. I don't need to pack to kick a**. Just give me an hour or so to wake up and get there,"
"Can you bring yogtz along while you're at it?"
"it's that serious?"
"I don't know, but I don't want any more casualties than we need,"
"i don't know whether to be overjoyed or incredibly pissed at you for bringing the squad back together. Should I grab your dad to?"
"No no no! We can't have him fighting,"
"he kicks your butt on a regular basis,"
"Don't bring him. I thought your ship was only a two seater anyway,"
Cordinia hung up. Eric sighed and sat down near namine.

Eric pet peppermint and looked to the door. "It's open," he said.

Eric looked at Kirune with concern. "Is everything alright? First i find Namine knocked out on sleeping potion and a hungry dog, and now you're looking nervous about something. So what's the matter?"
