Duo took a breath then walked towards her silently. He stopped a foot away from her. Just from right there, he could sense the sweet smell coming from her. It was starting to cloud his mind. He put his hand on her face. and drew her closer. "Tell me... what makes you so special that you arouse these emotions inside of me? I've noticed the same for you. For instance, right now, I can hear your heart beating frantically just from me doing this.." He wrapped his arm behind her and kissed her on the lips. He pulled back when he felt something odd move in his chest. Little did he know that his shadow filled heart sent forth a weak beat.

Sunoka's eyes would have widened when he kissed her as she tried to pull away, but Duo had her tight in his arm. "Wh-wh-what!..." She didn't know what to say to Duo. First he asked her a question that freaked her out slightly, then he kissed her on the lips! Needless to say, she was quite surprised. But beneath that was both anger and confusion. "Ge-get away! I-I don't know what you are talking about, or why you did that!" The girl shouted, but that entire sentence was a lie. She did know what he was talking about, and knew exactly why he kissed her, though, she didn't want to admit it. "I-I don't know why my presence makes you feel that way, but you're making me extremely uncomfortable!" Sunoka exclaimed, trying to push him away. That sentence wasn't a lie, he was making her uncomfortable, but not in the 'you're too close', kind of way.

Duo shook his head smiling. "Hmmm... it seems that you are uncomfirtable because maybe you fear those type of feelings. In any case, I see that possibly there is a fondness for me in that beautiful heart of yours. Though I find it interesting... you I myself, a Shadow being... can actually.. have a response to this." he laguhed. A thought crossed his mind. Of course he would never do anything of the sort, but he was curious of what her reaction would be. "Seeing what a small kiss did... I wonder...." He pinned her up against the wall. He then kissed her again as his hand wandered to tug at her shirt. He only stopped when he felt a that odd feeling in his chest again. It was getting annoying. It seemed to echo in his body. He turned away from her trying to figure out what it was. It had stopped, but he was sure he heard it.

Sunoka froze when Duo tugged at her shirt. "What is he..." She slowly slid to the ground when he let go of her. "D-don't... do that... please..." She murmured as she sat there. She didn't know why he stopped the kiss and tug of her shirt, but she was glad he did. It was extremely uncomfortable when his hand found her shirt tail. The girl slowly regained her composure and stood back up. "Wh-why are you... doing these things?" But perhaps a better question would be, why was she not drawing her chain-linked daggers as a warning? "Or rather, why am I not rejecting any of his ki-..." Sunoka didn't want to think of the word. True, she was not overly infuriated by his kisses, but they still made her slightly uncomfortable. "And why am I not taking this chance to run? He's completely vulnerable right now! So, why am I..." There were too many things she couldn't piece together. So many questions she didn't have the answer for. But did the girl want to know the answers? Duo was holding her there against his will, so diod she want to find out an answer, such as, 'you like him'? Sunoka slowly took several small steps forward and placed a hand on his shoulder.

Duo turned to look at the girl again. His quick wit responded for him. "Why do I ask? To prove a point. I want you to stay here... Yet you refuse. But just now, I proved that you WANT to stay." He took her arms and steered her towards the bed. He forced lightly to sit next to him. "The door is unlocked. Yet you haven't ran yet... I sat there and kissed you.. yet you did nothing...proving that you like me... or at least that you are stupid." HOwever, his mind was still on the odd sensations he had felt when kissed Sunoka. Is it... possible that I could like her? No.. no.. no... That is out of the question... I destroyed my heart along with my feelings long ago... It is simply not possible for that to happen...

Sunoka was completely speechless. "Do I... like him?..." She asked herself, or rather, her heart. She tilted her head down and placed a hand over her chest. "... It's... beating heavily..." She felt a small blush spread across her face as she realized what Duo said was completely true, though, he could have found a more romantic way of telling her so. Then, she looked up at him. "Wait... why did you leave the door unlocked in the first place?" She asked, although, it was quite obvious that Duo liked her back. Part of her just wanted to make him admit it.

Duo laughed. "Well... not to be rude or anything... But you have no idea where you are, except for the fact that you are in my room. That could mean a lot of things. In any case, You would be comeplete lost because you are blind anyway. I saw no point actually...." Duo then suddenly grabbed her head and laid it against his chest. He was ice cold compared to her. "Tell me, What do you hear?"

Sunoka froze when she listened, but didn't hear anything. And on top of that, his body was freezing and making her shiver a bit. "... How... What... Who..." She didn't know what to say about Duo's unbeating heart. "That's... not human..." She thought as she quickly pulled away and got up off the bed. "Wh-what... are you?..." He seemed to be human, but if there was any heartbeat what-so-ever, the girl would have heard it with her heightened hearing. She slowly stepped back until she was flat against the wall again. Sunoka seemed to be terrifed of Duo now.

Duo shook his head laughing. "What is this? NOW you fear me? Off of what? Just because I do not have a sappy heart like you? Pathetic." He decided to have some fun. He touched her shoulder and whispered in her ear, "I am a master of shadows..." He then melted into the shadows He threw his voice so it now sounded in front of her. "That means I can be everywhere.." He then cast it to underneath by her feet. "Like here..." He had to stop himself from laughing. Then heput it right beneath her left ear where the wall was supposed to be. "Or here..." Then he reappeared behind her and picked her up. "But in reality... I am here.." He laid her back down on the bed gently. "I had the curtiousy of snatching that tea for you." He produced the straming cup in his hands. He placed it on the night table. He then guided her hand to it.

Sunoka felt fear grip her as Duo had his fun with scaring her. She twitched when Duo picked her up and laid her on the bed. He had began to feel like ice when Duo guided her hand to the cup of tea. "... I..." Once again, she was entirely speechless. Her hand was shaking violently as it gripped the handle of the tea cup. "D-Duo... wh-why are you... doing this?... Scaring me... then giving me tea..." Sunoka was too scared to even realize that was the first time she ever spoke his name.

Link shrugged. "I dunno, Dark. Maybe. But Mona pointed it out that Epona wouldn't be able to cross the lake." He checked to make sure that the Hylian shield was in place. "I'm about ready."

Sarrianna frowned, her mind drifting away from the idea of sleep. She felt too anxious to sleep. Not with Michael in that state and Sunoka somewhere else in the castle. She couldn't help but think of them, as well as her dream.
"This nightmare isn't over."

There was suddenly a knock on Sarri's cell door, and Tenebre stepped in.
"Hello, little girl...I'm sure it will be a bit easier to break you now since you heard Michael's screams. But here's the twist....I'm not going to do the tortures, I'm going to watch. Oh Michael!"
Suddenly Michael stepped out from behind Tenebre like he was hiding within his shadow, his eyes haunted and even more lifelessly staring in Sarri's direction, as if he didn't even see her.
