Music: I listen to almost anything. I really like Josh Gracin, 3 Doors Down, Simple Plan, NickelBack, Hilary Duff, Josh Turner, Avril Lavigne, Rascall Flatts, Green Day, Eminem, and classical records. (Yes, I have an actual record player!)
Likes: I enjoy reading, sewing, being with Patrick, animals, being alone, and the internet.
Dislikes: I don't like crowds, large cities, or being left alone longer than two weeks.
Basics: I live in an apartment with my boyfriend Patrick. Our four year anniversary is actually this Friday, I'm so excited! Patrick travels a lot because of work. Sometimes I go with him, but I usually stay home. I don't mind being alone, which is a good thing, but I don't like being alone for more than two weeks. Luckily, most of his trips are one week or less. I grew up in a small, country town, and I don't like big cities. I'm slightly claustrophibic, but cities with tall buildings built close together scare me more than elevators. Probably because I also don't like large groups of people. I'm slightly anti-social. I don't mind small groups of people, but large groups freak me out. I really love the internet because it allows me to easily communicate with thousands of people without having to worry about anyone touching me. That's another thing, I don't like people touching me. I love hugs, and other physical forms of affection, but I can't stand people touching me. In case you haven't noticed, I'm a bundle of contradictions, just like most women!
Family: Family is very important to me. I'm very close to my mom and my dad is the greatest! I have a sister (age19), and two brothers (ages 12 and 4), all of whom I love dearly! I'm a worrier, just like my mom, so we already have certain legal documents that say that Patrick and I will continue raising my brothers in case anything happens to my parents. (knock on wood) My grandfather Honey is my hero and the most wonderful man I've ever known (outside of my dad). He and my father have been wonderful examples for the type of man I want as husband. (Luckily, Patrick is approved by both of those incredible men!) Honey has Alzheimer's and was recently diagnosed with lung cancer. He has, at most, 12 months left. Patrick and I are hopefully going to be married before he's gone because it is very important to me that he be at our wedding. My mom is one of six kids, so I have lots and lots of cousins, and some of those cousins have cousins, so I have a very large family! I'm close to most of my family, although there are a few "black sheep". Because I'm living with my boyfriend, two of my aunts and one of my uncles currently won't speak to me without lecturing me, but it's okay, it just shows that they love me!
Pets: I love cats (and most other animals) and I'm in the process of convincing Patrick to let me get a cat to keep me company while he's gone. Once Patrick and I build a house, we're going to have, at the very least, one cat and one dog. When it comes to dogs, my favorite breed would be boxers. They are beautiful, loyal, and incredibly intelligent. I don't have a preference for cat breeds, but that's because every cat I've ever had has been rescued from a shelter, or being put into a shelter by family friends.
