*Kero chuckles, scooping his son into his arms and carrying him bodily into his room*
Now...get some sleep, kiddo....I'd read to you...but I can't even see straight...in fact...I'm about to fall asleep....stand....Snore....

Passura laughs silently and tucks Kerobian into his bed, curling up next to him under the covers, relishing in the warmth the mage puts off. He wasn't exactly cold blooded but neither was he warm and at night he found he was getting a bit chilly in his bed. Closing his eyes he whispers good night to the man sleeping beside him, happy to have someone, a family albeit small, to call his own at last.

*Kero's arms wrap around him as he falls asleep....though when he wakes up in the morning, Kero is still sleeping, though he has turned away in his sleep*

He doesn't mind. He starts to get up, but from the sound of things, it is raining outside and there is a certain chill in the air, so he curls up against Kerobian's back beneth the blankets and tries to go back to sleep. Sleeping in is a luxury for him, one he had never had the joy of being able to do before coming here, but he was beginning to like the idea very very much.

Of course, that was sleeping in without a rumbling buzz saw at his back. Finally he slips from the bed and goes to the kitchen stumbling to a halt just inside the door. There is a snow white male fox sitting at the table, reading a book, taking sips ever so often from a steaming cub of tea which sits at his elbow... a fox with eyes the same color as his.
The creature looks up and grins. "Oh, hello... I'm Keveka, by the way... you are???"

Keva nods as the boy talks, letting him tell his tale without interruption. When he is done the fox nods sagely. "Yep... that's Uncle Kero, for ye. The sweetest, nicest... nasty around. He's my teacher, by the way... sort of. Never around to teach me anything though. Not even enough to know how to get myself back home to the void without landing in a time warp. Oh well. He'll be heading back soon enough, I suppose, I vcan always tag along then. He does check in from time to time. It's just that I promised to play chess with little Kero after he did his chores today. That's ok, Em can do it. He's better than I anyway and it would do the little bugger good to lose for a change"
The tiny serpentine stares at this anomoly, sitting at his table and shakes his head. Not even Lyssan had sat at the table to read in her fox mode, nor think to drink tea. She always shifted to a more humanoid form to do so. Then he notices that Keva's digits on his paws are slightly elongated and work like fingers.
The fox grins at him and wiggles them in the air. "Like them? My talent is morphing, but I'm a touch lazy, I suppose. Why go to all that trouble when the only thing I want to use differently is my paws... so I made them into hands. Kept them small, so I can run like normal... but they are far more functional this way, don't ye think?"

Keveka smiles at the boy. "Oh, he's a right enough person to those he cares about and those in need... just don't go getting him mad, kid. Trust me... don't get him mad. He's been known to cry foul at the gods if they cross him... and carry it out, too. But iffin he's adopted ye, you're safe. Ye'd have to do something so awful and so bad to get him that mad at you... he may be a tough and demanding teacher at times, but he's fair... always fair. I called him a nasty because well, there are quite a few people who for some odd reason seem to think he's evil... and for a time there... they almost had him believing it too."

Keva grins. "A prank! Never! Well, almost never. Just keep them clean and safe and yer good to go. No meanness. Kero plays by the kitsune rule though, ye need to know this... 'One good prank deserves another...' Ye prank him and yer gonna get pranked back.. trust me.. and he's one of the best in the business."

And what would you two like for lunch, seeing as how we all missed breakfast?

"You may have missed breakfast but I didn't. Tam is one lucky person... he married someone who can cook... maybe not quite in yer league, uncle... but not half bad either." teases Keva closing his book. He winks at Passura and urges him to sit down. "Here... you two get something to eat. I'm going to go for a walk. The rain seems to be letting up and I want to check this place out."

Have you been practicing...I'd like to start your lessons whenever I'm in the Void again...and no, Pasa...you can't come....
