Kitty’s power surfaced with her anger blue static electricity crackling over her skin, she opened her mouth to retort when the man who pulled her out of the hospital spoke, she turned to give him her attention. She had no idea who this man was, other who the jerk was, nor where she saw, nor why she was here, nor why the man had rescued her. “Its Kitty Kyles,” she replied, “who are you and the animal?” It seemed like a fair question since he asked her name, she was a bit scared of him but he had helped her…so she shouldn’t have anything to be scared of. He was intimidating and imposing and was obviously use to be being obeyed without question.

Magneto nodded slowly. "My name is Erik Lehnsherr. Better known as Magneto. And the animal is my comrade Victor Creed. He's much more pleasant to be around when he's not recovering. Victor, why don't you give us some time alone?" Victor snorted in compliance, walking away from the two to let them talk. Magneto turned back to Kitty. "Please, relax and make yourself at home. My land is your land." Magneto said, walking out to the ledge and looking out at the ocean. "You are aware, I'm sure, that you are what humans call a mutant?"

 Kitty watched Victor walked out wary of him before turning her attention back to Erik she follow him before gasping hurrying to the edge to look at the ocean, she had never seen it before. It was beautiful. She turned back to him and nodded. “The voice call me that. I have never heard of a mutant before. What is that? The voice said something about a gene,” Kitty said, “does that have to do with the mess in uh back there…I didn’t touch anything but I know I broke those machines."

We are just another step in human evolution. We possess the X-gene, giving us tremendous powers. I am a master of magnetism. Victor is incredibly strong, and can heal from any wound. And it appears that you have some form of electrokinetic powers."

Kitty blinked, ‘’how does someone become a mutant is it genetic or like cancer you just dont know how you get it but you do, even if there has never been one in your family?” Everything was very strange, a mutant, powers…electrokentic…she remember she shocked herself at the park like static… “static….” she muttered softly, curious and intrigued. “How you control this…mutant thing?” she asked curious, her stomach was hurting again but she ignored it.

"The X-gene is passed down by the father, but who gets it is random." Magneto was shocked to hear here compare it to cancer, and to call it a 'mutant thing'. "My dear, this is not a disease, and it's not just a thing. This is a gift. And how you control it is different dependent on what your gift is. I've met people with powers like you before. They controlled their powers with emotion, summoning great bolts of lightening by recalling something that angered them greatly."

Kitty shrugged, “great the father, ya well mine stepped out before I was born. So no daddy I can run to and ask what the hell he is and what am I.” She noticed the shock in his voice as he told her that it was not a disease or thing, she gave him a wary smile, “yet we are called mutants and it seems we accept this name. Mutant, which means new trait not in normal life, which is what cancer is, mutant cells. No offense but mutant seems like a stupid name to pick, its like your downgrading yourself. While I can understand it does fit the scenario it just seems…wrong. Also no offense but I already don’t fit in being a mutant isn’t really going to help my cause. I am just trying to get by school without being bullied because of my grey hair and now you are basically confirming I am a freak of nature. Gee thanks for that,” bitterness and scarcasm threaded through her voice.

This was once a proud nation known as Genosha. It was a paradise I created for our kind. A safe haven for those the humans so callussly vindicate. This ruin that it stands in now? The humans attacked us. We removed ourselves from the world to live in peace, and they followed us here to kill us. Like Neanderthals attacking the Homo-sapians..." He said, remembering his once great society. "You are normal. Better even, than the judgemental humans who bully you."

That would be the fault of my newest power. Magneto spoke directly into her mind. "I inherited telepathy of a dear, dear friend of mine." He explain. "Many years ago, there was a great war between the MRD and the Homo-superior. It destroyed this island, and claimed many lives on both sides. I tried to stop it, but wasn't powerful enough at the time. My dear friend Charles Xavier ended the conflict by erasing it from the minds of everyone on Earth." He said, putting on his helmet. "This helmet protects me from telepaths, and is how I was able to avoid being wiped."

((Geez, guys! I'm gone for three hours, and I miss this much? Dunno what to do with Jean now, but here's Masika at least.))  Masika Yejide ~Tempest Masika flinched at the sound of yet another voice inside her head, but this one sounded hurt. Like she needed help. Masika followed Usagi back to the entrance and saw the girl. The girl needed water? Well then. She quickly picked the girl up, putting one hand on her back and the other beneath her knees, and carried her to the kitchen. Instead of using the sink, however, she simply grabbed a glass from the cabinet and materialized a miniature rain cloud to fill the glass with pure water and handed it to the girl.

(UM jean could be really upset about kitty being taken by magneto??) “Um…please don’t do that…talk in my mind thing…its creepy and lack privacy.” She shook her head not understanding nor agreeing which how it all played out. “That was dumb, no offense to your friend but erasing their memory doesn’t erase their powers and we are right back where we started, worse really because we are literally repeating history. What did doing that achieve? Peace…for how long you are still alive so not very long.. I am 16 so…16 years?"

If he hadn't done what he did, you would have been taken from your home as a baby and exterminated. My greatest regret is that for us to be free, he had to die." He let out a sigh, looking at the sky. "He would say that any peace is better than no peace... such an idealist... he's the reason we're all alive. You don't understand exactly what he prevented. This wasn't some small civil war. This was going to be World War 3. It was going to be the end of the world. All the nations of the world had taken sides, and were priming their nukes. If he hadn't done what he did..." A tear rolled from his eye. "Forgive me... Charles was my dearest friend. My brother, even. He didn't deserve what happened to him."

Sam saw the overt reaction the girl had and took a quick step back. She hadn't meant to frighten the girl, but she was increasingly interested in her small companions.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt you," she said with a smile, her hands up to show she meant no harm. "I just have a pension to heal things and sometimes my body likes to reach out when I least expect it to. But it usually only does that around beings that are hurt or dead." She was puzzled a bit as she looked at the group. Then her smile widened with realization.
"It's nice to know you're not the only one, isn't it?"
. . . Then grab my hand and hold me close. Save me from this earthly dose.  Zeda "Dragon" Smith All that matters in life is survival. . .
With her eyes narrowed, the raven haired girl darted to the side a moment before David, much like a matador at a bull fight. Then as he passed her, she whipped around to kick him in the back of the head.
"What's the hurry, fuzzy wuzzy?" she said mockingly, scenting his musky signature with her flicking tongue. He tasted so familiar. Then it came to her, and the memory made her stomach growl more earnestly.
Already an acrid smell was permeating the air, so tantalizing. She only had to wait a few more minutes before dinner. Abruptly, she spit into her hands, rubbing the saliva across her palms and the backs of her knuckles.
"Come along then," she beckoned lightly, one hand balled in a fist and out straight while the other bent at her side.
. . . But crushing the weak is nice too.

And Now The Master of Telepathy Kitty froze, she had definitely stepped on a sore spot but she didn’t feel she overstepped her bounds. She felt for him though, losing someone he cared about that she could understand. “I’m sorry for you loss. I didn’t mean to dishonor him in anyway. You are right I have no idea what he prevented but forgive me when I say this, my life hasn’t been kittens and rainbows, death as an infant when I knew nothing of life and its hardships means little to me.” She turned back to waters, “Thank you for getting me out of there. Thank you for telling me what i am but I think its time for me to go home…"
