Lylla crossed her arms and started laughing along with Jacie.
"Actually... I was planning on heading off for Olivine to go see the surfing competition." Jacie said after they got done with their little laughing session. "A few of my friends are going to be over from Hoenn and Orre. And I wanted to see them before they took off again."
"Sure thing, dear. Just be careful. Alright?" Lylla smiled a bit and placed a hand on Jacie's shoulder just before Jacie nodded and started walking back out of the kitchen.

Marshall crossed his arms and leaned back " Ah children, I almost miss it.' he said and watched her walk off " Especially at her age...though its taking forever for her to get a boyfriend even you didn't take that long." he laughed. He sat down again and stared at the door looking out into the bright blue sky.

Please, they probably wouldn't even notice if a shipping truck hit them head-on." Lylla defended as she perched her fingertips just slightly under her collar-bone. "And as far as Jacie's love life goes, I've got nothing to worry about. I've taught her well and she holds her priorities high. If I know her as well as I think I do, she's not going to settle for second-best."
Jacie had just finished packing her bag as she flung it over her shoulder and stuffed a few pokeballs into the side pocket of her bag and two in the pocket of her jean shorts. She pulled her long blue hair up into a ponytail and leaped off of her balcony, heading straight for the mountain path that would lead her right to the gates of Olivine City. Jacie had snuck out enough as a small child to know all of the back roads that most people didn't know about. And this one in particular that she was taking, would allow her to pass around all of the towns and rude people.

Marshall listened and nodded shaking his head " Thats kinda sad, but Mister Miller was always uptight and I remember how he would say he didn't want you to be around me beacuse he wanted you to grow up and finish law school and do job he had always seen you do." he said. Other than hanging around you and the rest of the gang, of course." she smirked and then lost herself out the sliding glass door. "Still... After Dad blew up at me that last time, Mom gave in and sided with him. But it doesn't matter to me. I proved my father wrong and that's all that matters about the past. I live for the here and now and don't dwell on the past, it's not healthy." she joked on that last bit.

Marshall laughed and stood up stretching " Well its good to know you don't feel bad." he said and walked out onto the Patio and looked outside " Ah its good to be back home after so long." he said " I wonder if your great great grandfather and mother loved it out here too." he said and smiled. Marshall actually had the same name as her great great grandfather which he found strange but didn't think about too much.

What I can't believe is that Grandma Veronica and Grandpa Marshall built this entire place with their own two hands. It had to have taken ages." Lylla rested a hand on a nearby wall. It was hard for her to believe that this place was still looking as new as it did in the picture of her great grandparents after they had just got done building it.
