Arious scowled. "Damn you Darious... Tis' not fair! You know all my powers! But do not be conceited... I know all yours.." Arious quick-stepped back. He then did a series of offensive moves before taking a daring strike toward the shadow's throat.
Rugen smiled. "Yes... I can hear you, Alanna." He smiled brightly. So these were his children... He nodded approvingly. "We seem to have a family of attractive people..." He winked at Alanna before looking back to Darian. "Yeah yeah... there are rules for everything... But that was a relief to know." However Rugen suddenly stopped seeing a thought go through Darian's head. Who was... that? He looked... like... Shadow?!
Liam sighed and followed after the girl. "Well thanks for your care. But you are in MY castle so I suggest you be a little kinder to your host."
Lisaya lead him down the staircase which seemed to take forever. She walked in silence, reflecting on what she was about to do. Finally they made it to the gardens. "I love these gardens... They hold lots of memories for me... some of them good... some of them bad. Today.. I wish to add to the good memories." She led him across a bridge over the big pond then stopped in the center. She finally met his eyes. A small smile crept on her face, but she looked ready to cry. "The only way to stop a fear and be free.. is to overcome that free and break its bonds." She closed her eyes and held her hand tightly. "I am free of him.. because... I am yours..." she whispered. She stood on her tippie toes and kissed him. Tears streamed down her cheeks. She dropped Helios' wedding ring in the pond; slowly it sunk as the sapphire and diamonds glittered in the setting sun.
Milliardo read the note, a smile forming on his lips. He stood there in Arious' house just glorifying the moment. "She is mine... I thought I would never see this day... Liam... I want to see your pain... your agony.. when you see that she has rejected you..."

Darious jumped up into the air and landed gracefully on Arious' sword. "You fool..." Darious murmured, slashing his sword at Arious. He jumped again, flipping over Arious, and landed right behind him. He spun around and aimed for his back. "You know all of my moves... what an amusing thought." He laughed.

Darian glanced back over at Rugen, reading his thoughts just when Rugen read his. "So, you're curious about him too? Milliardo, yeah, he's Shadow and Lisaya's son but he despises Liam... He goes around calling him the 'Prince of Shadows.'" He said, looking over at Alanna, but she was blocking all mind reading powers. She had the ability to do that if she wanted to think by herself, even Rugen couldn't penetrate the barrier that sat around her head. What happened at Arious' house... he thought, thinking to himself again. "Speaking of Milliardo and Liam... I must go see Liam... we didn't get in the best terms in seeing each other." Darian sighed, glancing over at Bonedancer who was still perched upon his mothers shoulder.
Alanna was still thinking about Milliardo, almost worried that she made the wrong choice. That she was now just feeding the Milliardo vs Liam fire. What if Liam had his memories and Milliardo was lying? But, for some reason, Alanna could tell that he wasn't lying, and that Liam had really forgotten her. I'm coming with... she thought out loud, letting Rugen and Darian into her thoughts again and looked over at Darian. I need to know... something... important... she thought, blinking over at Rugen and Din, suddenly turning and giving them both a hug before vanishing into flame. Darian sighed, "She always does that, by the way." Darian said, shaking his head before vanishing after her.
Riuny slowed down to a stop on a stair, hearing Jojo stop in front of her, hissing at Liam. She moved and gripped the handle of her blade."Fine, I'll be a proper lady, your highness. Now, will you please leave me alone, as you can see, I can get around fine and I don't need you babysitting me. For I am an adult... and have no need for a babysitter." Riuny toned down her voice, but the harshness still raised. She turned and headed down the stairs. "I'm finding Tsunisa, and I don't need your help... Jojo can smell her out." Riuny said, Jojo following.
Shadow looked at Lisaya, surprised at what she was doing, it was all so much to take in one day. Feeling her tears and her lips pressed against his, he moved his arms around her waist and held her close. "... I promise... I'll make sure every memory of yours is a happy one." Shadow said.
Opal blinked over at Vaati. "Well, maybe we should wish the Minish Cap away... so it's just... gone." She said, glancing over at Vaati.

"What? NO!" Both of them shouted in unison, though their reasons were completely different. Vaati craved the power, even if he wasn't using it. He felt naked without the hat near by. Ezlo on the other hand, didn't wish to see his precious hat disappear. He worked on it for so many years, he couldn't stand the thought of it leaving. The two glared at each other, then looked away.

"It was just a thought, I mean it just keeps causing trouble... for you it's the voice, and if we just let it go, it could end up in the wrong hands, but since you two seem to be in agreement for a change, you can decide what to do with the Minish Cap." Opal, standing up, shaking her head at the two and headed towards the door. She needed to be alone for once, not seeing what was so special about keeping an object that just caused trouble for others. She headed out into the hall, sighing softly.

Vaati frowned but he let her go anyway. He looked towards Ezlo, who was beside him on the bed. He took in a deep breath. "What are your ideas? I refuse to wish it anyway..." He mumbled, laying down the bed.
"Don't you see? That's the entire problem. You let your pride make your decisions for you because you can't let go of the past. You were evil, or at least bothersome at one point, but people are allowed to change. Don't you see that people won't remember your past attempt to take over Hyrule? They only know you from the two murders, and soon that will be forgotten as well. You don't have anyone to impress but yourself. You were more confident as a Minish than you are out in the big world." Ezlo murmured, looking at Vaati in the eyes. He could still remember that happy Minish... but he was someone who was buried alive with hatred.
"That's not the case!" Vaati hissed angrily and made a grab for the hat. Ezlo had seen it coming and managed the hop out of the way. Vaati landed on his stomach, obviously frustrated to the point of confusion. "I'm tired of fighting, I'm tired of everyone belittling me and I'm tired of being weak. I've had enough! I don't even know myself anymore. Is that good enough of you? You're the worst offender!" Vaati screamed. It actually felt a little good to let something out...
"Vaati... I loved you like my own son. I took you when when the rest of the world rejected you. It hearts to know that you have never returned the feelings. I'm sorry I let you down, but it wasn't because wanted to. I was trying... I really was." Ezlo looked down, but he didn't take his eyes off of the unstable figure before him.

Opal sat down on the steps, thinking to herself. She wondering if she really wanted to be with Vaati. She touched her wrist, wincing when she felt the pain that mildly shot up her arm. She shook her head from the pain. "It's not his fault... it was an accident..." She said, but she knew she was wrong, Vaati threw her, he meant to hurt her. She placed her chin in her other hand. She gave a small yawn, leaning against the wall, trying to think of something to do while Ezlo and Vaati talked. She walked outside, seeing the rain had stopped, looking up at the sky with a tilt in her head, lifting her hand up and moving the clouds around.

"You liar. Everyone hated me. The only friend I have here is Opal. Everyone else can go die for all I care!" Vaati screamed, striding for the door.
"Vaati, I know you don't mean that, otherwise you would have killed me a long time-" Ezlo stopped as soon as he realized Vaati had left. He didn't hear the door open, so he must have warped away. That darn kid... He hopped onto the dresser and out the window, taking the time to note the mud he saw. Opal should be out there, right? There wasn't anything to do in the inn. "Opal? Where are you?"
Vaati warped himself to Lake Hylia and simply watched the water. Why was everyone criticizing him all the time? First it was Kaze and now Ezlo. The voice wasn't his fault. You keep telling yourself that... He suddenly thought to himself. Maybe it was true...

Opal blinked out of her thoughts when she heard Ezlo. She turned and headed towards the inn, seeing Ezlo drifting slowly to the ground and rushed over to catch him. "What happened Ezlo? Did you guys make up your mind what to do with the Minish Cap yet?" she asked, placing him on her head.

"We didn't make a decision, he just warped away. He's rather upset and afraid to say that I didn't help at all in this case... I'm worried about him." Ezlo answered, hanging his head in shame. Of course Vaati couldn't handle the truth yet.

"... Ezlo we have to find him... there's a pattern, whenever he's by himself, he gets taken over by the voice!" Opal said, worried and rushed off to go find out where Vaati had disappeared off to. Scattering her wind far and wide, trying to sense his wind. She picked up something faintly in Lake Hylia and warped off.

Ezlo spotted Vaati near the lake itself. He first noticed how quiet he was. That often meant someone was thinking... was that part of the voice? Vaati looked calmed though... maybe they found him in time after all. "Vaati..."

Arious cursed as he felt Darious' sword slightly graze his back. He immediately moved away from him. "Well... to be honest, I didn't see that one coming..." He muttered. I can't be so careless... Concentrate! You can can die.. He can just come back. Arious moved back, staying on the defense.
Rugen looked at Darian raising an eyebrow. His daughter was an interesting one. However, he couldn't believe that Shadow and Lisaya had a kid... implying that they would eventually get married. He knew that Arious did not approve of Shadow at all.
Lisaya smiled and kissed him a few more times. She felt free for the first time... Like she did when she was a young child when it was just her and Arious. She closed her eyes remembering the good times before her life was plagued with the Prince of Elonacia. She looked back at Shadow. "That.... is good to know." She smiled at the man before her. Her life would truly be different from then on.
Liam sighed. "As you wish..." Liam turned back around and went back to his future room in the tower. Things were just so complicated, he wasn't sure what to do.
Milliardo sighed wondering what he should do. Probably check on Darious. He faded into the shadows following his uncle's magic. He appeared in the desert next to the giant mirror that held Dark. He tapped on it, smiling. "How goes it? Hmm.. Looks like Darious is winning. Hopefully your playmate isn't hurt too bad now." He laughed seeing the look on Dark's face.
