"It will all be over after this..." the knight took a deep breath, then lit a few matches and set the fire. He stepped away from it as it started, and the dry summer air helped the blaze begin. Within moments, the mansion was in flames. Talbot watched it with unblinking eyes, then collapsed to his knees. He covered his face with his helmet and started to cry. "It's... finally.... over...."Atticus sat beside his friend to comfort him.

Arron sat down beside the knight, wrapping an arm around Talbot's shoulders. "Y-Yes it is..." he mumbled quietly. The ordeal had been surreal, how one wrong turn had brought everything into place for it to end up at the finish line.

The knight cried softly, letting out years of pain and despair with each tear. The mansion collapsed into itself as the last of the supports were burned away, and all that remained of it was a smoking pile. Talbot finally calmed down after awhile, and wiped his eyes, pulling himself to his feet to stand tall above the heap. He would leave it behind, as a ghost of the past.Atticus let out a final mighty roar at the place that his friend had been imprisoned in, then turned away from it, ready to move on.

The Lythcol mechanic quietly stood, smiling at his friend. "So... T-Talbot, knight of th-the White K-Kingdom... wh-what do you want to-to do now..?" he asked. Suddenly the smile fell as Arron remembered one small detail that had been forgotten up until that point. He was still under the enchantment that Talbot's father had placed on him.

"I'd like to travel home... but I'm not certain I'll be allowed back." Talbot responded. Even so, he missed his mother and father, and wanted to speak with the king. If the peace treaty would have any possibility of being reinstated, he wanted to see it through.

Nodding, Arron did not know what to tell his friend. "We-We could try to go..." he said, going against the king's wishes, "...b-but let's rest a-a few more days." Arron had forgotten that he had been told to try & convince the knight to not return thanks to the events over the past few days.

"All right. And... perhaps... before we leave..." the knight started, avoiding eye contact as he scratched the back of his head. "We might... go to the zoo and see the penguins again?" he asked, embarrassed for asking for such a thing. He'd remembered his past, but that didn't truly change him much as a person.

After the troubling ordeal to be asked such a request caused Arron to laugh until he held his chest in pain. After a minute of cringing, he said with a smile, "Of-Of course! N-Now... let's go b-back to my pl-place... I-I'll cook." The young heroes needed a small time to relax.

"Ah, be careful." Talbot said, eyebrows creasing with worry when Arron cringed, though he was glad to hear that they would see the penguins again. He was about to interject that it was his job to cook, but he realized that the life of a slave was behind him. It would definitely take some getting used to. He hopped onto the back of Atticus, then offered to help Arron on too.

Accepting the help, Arron got on the lion's back. He felt relief knowing that everything was finished. "...Y-You know... we only met ab-about t-two weeks ago?" asked Arron. To him, it felt much longer.

"Well, it felt more like an eternity, considering all that happened, but we made it through." the knight smiled softly. It was hard to believe they'd both survived everything they'd been hurled into. They had so many chances of being killed, but they'd avoided death.Atticus trudged on, still healthy and quick. He ran with them on his back until Arron's work-shop was in sight again, then crouched to the ground to let them off.

"Y-Yeah..." he said slipping off the beast's back slowly. Arron coughed slightly from being jostled on the ride back to the workshop. He knew it was getting time to take the medication he was given as he was beginning to feel a throbbing from the healing wound.
Arron started walking inside, wondering what he would cook for the three of them. When he opened the door, Arron sighed at the mess that had been made from the fight.

Talbot wondered if it was all right for Arron to be walking out of his wheel chair, but he didn't want to damage his pride, so he avoided asking. Instead, he walked behind him in case he needed assistance. "If there's anything you need help with, I'll gladly assist. Ah... not because of obligation, but because I'm your friend." he felt the need to specify. It still felt like a habit to do everything without even being asked to.

Staring at the mess that had been made, Arron clapped his hands twice. This called a small army of robots to quickly clean the floor, removing the debris from the broken door. "S-Some... help w-would.... be nice..." he said taking slow breaths to not cause himself any more pain, "W-Would make... things go... much faster..."
