Lyssan shrugs. "I can, but it's not my element. I can purify it... say for a one time use, and check for toxicity... but check it for trace components and trace it back to it's source... not so good. And right now... not much would show up, I'm afraid. Ame could, but he's off on one of his jaunts right now.... studying the fauna of some odd time period... I can reach him if needed, but I suspect it can wait." says Lyssan studying the area carefully.

"This isn't one of the rooms you were working in, is it? I sense a largish fissure right about.... here.... I'm wondering.... If we can break it open and follow it, if it leads to open water... if so, maybe Granddad can make it to here... widened just right, it would be a nice bolt hole for her and a place of safety for him. She'll outgrow it in time, but what do ye think?How close to the water level are we... I don't want to go flooding the place."

She nods thoughtfully then shakes her head. "I can't trace it... I lose it about the fifth or sixth twist. And I don't feel like going in to find out, not right now... Maybe Kero's got a better idea on how to work it out. He should be back with us tomorrow. At least the water looks clean enough. It still has a scent of green to it, so I know it's getting in from a spot fairly close to the shore. We'll just have to see. Shall we go see what those two little miscreants are up to? Of course there isn't much trouble they could get into where we left them, but both of them have curiosities that match or surpass yer own...." laughs the kitsune, turning to go back up towards the main cavern.

Lysan calls them out of the water and suggests they go down to see Granddad. She examines LUna's wing with a nod. "Swimming is allowed today, but still no flying, young lady. Water will support the muscle allowing you to work it withou danger.... air will not. Then after we have a good swim, we'll come back up here for lunch and you can pick out which chamber you want to use as your sleeping room."

She bobs her head at him slowly, then grins...."I swimmmm good.... juss noff as well as you." she reminds him.

Lyssan shoos them both down the hill towards the water, listening to them chatter as she walks behind them. "Keep an eye on her, okay?" she asks Luciel as the two dive in. "He tends to get carried away... a trait he's never grown out of.... I'm afraid."

Lyssan stretches out on the sunning rock and watches the three dragons play, letting the sun warm her back. But she is far from lazy, she is scanning actively for signs of anymore oversights, any dangers that might rear their ugly heads, her tail flicking from side to side with a nervous twitch. The appearance of the alligator may have been a fluke, but it was a nerve wracking fluke and one she does not want to face again.

Lyssan launches herself of the rock, transforming in mid fall, to her flying fox form and swoops down on her.

"I thought I told you no flying." she grumbles landing back on the rock and plopping Luna down in front of her.
