"Cool, for us humans, all we get this boring light..." April said, sounding like the shadows were more interesting than even the world of light could offer. She laid down on the couch, thinking about her parents who were still upstairs, hopefully talking calmly instead of arguing.

Opal leaned her head gently on his shoulder. "At least it wasn't major bad this time." Opal said, looking over at him.

Din leaned against Rugen's chest, his names were much more unique than hers. "Alanna and Darian it is then..." She said, suddenly relaxing when she slipped into a sleep in Rugen's arms. She was too tired to stay awake anymore, and the dizziness was starting to get even more unbearable.

Silver wondered where to start, after Yumi said that she had met Arious, she was guessing that Arious already knew of her deeper secret. Silver was an elvish princess. She sat down in front of him. "When I was five, I lived in a palace with my mother, father, two half brothers on my father's side, and an adopted sister, you've already met the adopted sister and the youngest half brother, I pray to the goddesses you do not meet the older half brother... I guess you could say, the raid of my realm was my fault... I was tired of being a princess and just for once I just wanted to escape that life... I wanted just to be an elf... the castle and kingdom was attacked by an army of humans from the village led by two men... they killed everyone, well, that's what I figured when I returned, seeing my parents were dead, not seeing my brother Hunter, or my other siblings. I assumed they were dead. Not soon after discovering the death of my people I was kidnapped and held as a slave for a year..." Silver stopped here for a moment, biting her lip when she look away, that year, it was hard, just a six year old girl, fearful of what would happen to her, and... tears appearing in her eyes. "I escaped..." She hid a sob. "I hid, here, spent most of my child hood in the castle, training as a guard. I wanted to hid my identity so they wouldn't find me... and that I'd be able to be a normal girl... I'm sorry Arious, I know I promise, but I told no body... not even Lisaya knows..." She said, looking up at him, tears in her eyes. They couldn't stop flowing down her cheeks.

Shadow almost bit his lip, the boy was quiet annoying, and it was true, the boy reminded him of Helios. "... I promise." Shadow replied, looking straight into Lisaya's eyes. "... I would have treated him as my own son, even if you refused..." He said.

"No... but it hurts like heck." Vaati muttered, leaning Opal against the wall so he could transform. He didn't want to be here anymore. He just wanted fresh air now. "Outside..." The cat whispered, closing his eyes slowly.

"Hmm... light is horrible indeed." Dark mumbled with a wince. Just thinking about the light burned. The pain Darious caused him was still so fresh in his mind. He knew Darious would get bored, pick him up and act like nothing happened eventually.

Before Darious could answer, he dropped to floor with a small knife in his back. It wasn't lethal in the least, it was one of the places that seemed to hurt a lot. "Don't you even dare to try do that again!" She hissed, stepping on his back to get Liam and Seth. "Oh, Seth, I got you your milk." She mumbled, giving him the bottle full fo white liquid. He smiled and brought the bottle to his mouth.

Opal nodded and picked up Vaati gently into her arms, avoiding touching his back and his back paw, wincing when she put weight onto her bad wrist, but she didn't show it to Vaati and carried him outside, looking back at Kaze, who was back to sleep, like this never happened.

"Is that how you got hurt?" She asked, looking back down underneath the couch. "Oops, sorry, stupid question..." April said, pulling herself up to sit back on the couch. She guessed her curiosity with Dark, kept her mind off of what her parents were probably talking about. Of course, like any other child she would worry, no child wants their parents to break up.

((Lol, I found an old mule. I'm so excited. XD))

"Yes, very stupid question... though I'm not sure where Darious learned how to use the light. That has to be from your father..." Dark mumbled. He was beginning to enjoy it underneath the couch. There was hardly any light he had to worry about and it was a little colder near the floor.

Vaati noticed it was beginning to drizzle outside. He stretched himself out to the point where he was almost falling out of her arms.He just needed some fo the water to hit his back. It felt a little better that way.

April had curled up on the couch. "Maybe... or maybe it's because he learned it, didn't dad say that he wasn't exactly fully shadow?" April said, her eyes were drooping slowly, but she didn't wanted to fall asleep again, no matter how much energy she used to help Dark. She wanted to talk to him, to learn more about the shadows if she could.

Opal felt Vaati stretch towards the drizzling rain. She moved over to it, letting it fall onto his back, which she was guessing that is what he needed. Sitting down under a tree, the rain trickling down the leaves and dripping onto Vaati's back and Opal's curly blonde head.

Josline returned into Kaze's room, her arm bandaged and cleaned, seeing the man had fallen asleep. This is why she had teleported him away, if Kaze had returned while Vaati and her were still fighting he would probably be too tired too fight and Josline could get him out of there. She sighed, sitting down next to him. "I did you a favor... If running killed you, how would getting injured feel..." She murmured under her breath, lying her head on the bed, trying not to fall asleep.

Kaze turned his head and looked at Josline. "Better than the feeling of helplessness." He had not fallen asleep, though, he was resting. "Josline, I can handle battle a lot easier than I can handle worry." He sighed and looked up at the ceiling.

"It's more like he naturally has more resistance to the light since he was made out of blood and not the mirror. He can walk around in the light a lot longer than I can." Dark explained. He always envied that about Darious. If Dark wanted to go into the light, he had to ear a cloak to protect his skin.

Vaati stretched out on her lap. It was more relaxing this way, his back was exposed and his bad paw had no weight on it. "Opal, you're not really using your hands are you?" Vaati asked, curling his wet tail around Opal's foot. His eyes were closed, but he wasn't asleep. He was kind of scared of sleeping again.

"Yeah, if you're not in pain..." Josline looked over at Kaze. "I'm sorry I made you worry... I just didn't want you being hurt to be my fault again..." She said.

Opal bit her lip, "No, it's not that I really need both my hands." She said, not wanting to tell Vaati that she had sprained her wrist when he tossed her to the ground.

"That makes sense... if you want, I could give you that ability." She said, still curled up on the couch.

Kaze suddenly stared at Josline. "Josline, it was not your fault. No one could have predicted the ceiling falling down on us. Don't blame yourself for an accident." He reached over and rubbed his thumb across her cheek. "Come here." He motioned her to lay down beside him on the bed.

Josline looked up at Kaze and moved onto the bed lying next to him, almost hesitantly. She hid her face. "If I hadn't been there... you'd be able to move out of the way... you wouldn't have had to protect me..." She said, lying her head against his chest.

Kaze sighed and wrapped his arms around Josline. "JOSLINE! Stop this crap about you being at fault for everything!" He moved one hand up and tilted her head up to look at him. "I told you, no one could have predicted it, so stop saying it's your fault. I want you to get this through your head. You. Did. Nothing. Wrong." He sowly calmed down and turned her around to face him. "Is that clear?"

"That's a lie. You weren't holding me the same." Vaati carefully moved his paws into a new position. He was still sore everywhere and it was all thanks to the wounds on his back. Not like his bad paw was helping much either.

"Nah, I'll just deal with it. I don't resistance to something I don't like." Dark shrugged, though he figure it could turn out bad. It was kind of like humans who couldn't feel pain. He didn't trust himself with it.

Arious listened quietly, going over the information in his mind. He nodded here and there. Once she had finished Arious waited a moment before speaking. "Interesting.. but my question is... Are you... going to go back?" His eyes were full of hurt. If she said yes, he didn't know what he would do. There was no way he could be in a royal position. Besides, he had come to love Hyrule as his home; he did not think he could part with it so easily. But his mind then traveled to the two men she had mentioned. He wondered if they had been slain, or whether or not they could still be searching for her.

Rugen smiled. He was glad that she liked his names. He wanted to name his children after the ones he loved; Alanna the only girl to like him for who he was, and Darian his courageous father. He kissed Din lightly on the forehead then laid her to rest in her bed. He then pulled the blankets up to her chin. Then he looked out of his palace. It was raining once again with some thunder and lightning getting closer and closer. He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

Liam simply glared at Darious. What was is problem anyway? He had done nothing to him. Liam shook his head and left the room quietly as Seth drained the bottle into his starving belly. "Wow... you were pretty hungry little guy!"

Lisaya felt relieved and let small smile come across her lips. "Thank you... It means so much... I just want him to grow with good memories.... unlike..." She didn't finish her sentence as her mind trailed off to her own destroyed childhood. Tears formed at the corners of her eyes. She quickly wiped them away.

Seth tossed the bottle empty bottle to the ground, but the glass was hard enough that it simply rolled away. Saya picked it up with a sigh and held the bottle out in front of him. "Seth, tells us if you even a tiny bit hungry, okay darling? And no throwing bottles, Seth." She shook the bottle in front of him, letting him take it back into this arms.

"Uggh... it didn't hit him! What's your problem, Saya?" Darious shouted, following Liam out of the room. The blade was still stuck in his shoulder, but it didn't see to be bothering him anymore.
