Omg. That second outfit looks spectacular on you. :O I've always liked that Meta JSK.
BTW-- the tension control on the sewing machine has been acting up and while it's not out completely, I only trust it with very small things at a time. So your dress is on hold, until I can get that fixed... and in the meantime you're ending up with various accessories. >>;

Oooooooh? Is that sooooo? ;D Lemme know how things are going later this week, hon. I'm in no hurry. Also, just kick me a line to let me know how much I'll owe you for the whole thing in the end so I can set it aside, ok? :3

Hello cupcakes! So...I'm leaving for college on the tenth so most of my stuff is packed away, but here's some...kinda lolita outfits. First up my ''swallow tail'' dress the front: Back: And then theres this outfit: I don't really like the way the top of the dress fits though so I'm thinking of either taking it in to make it more fitted or just making it into a skirt. What do you think?

I think it would make a cute corset skirt, actually. You could take it in by making darts in front at the bust, or reconstructing the bodice entirely with some light boning. Are the cupcakes a screen print, part of the fabric, appliqués or embroidery? They're cute!

Thanks, they're screen printed on. ^^ I could also add straps to the top as well...now to just fix my sewing machine.
Oh, and the cupcake dress is actually from hot topic. ^^''

Here are two from AGES ago, when I first got into lolita. (Don't judge me! I know they are cosplayish, I didn't know any better back then ^^;;; wink Me looking very displeased, not noticing someone was photographing me.

You look adorable, as always, Kate. heart
Re: That Vest I've had a certain fabric sitting around that has been screaming your name at me, and I may be intending to turn it into a set to your measurements. Potentially involving a vest. Possibly. Eventually. Maybe.

Silly you. :3 Speaking of your sewing, the link with the Columbia lolitas has Jen in the skirt you made! I don't have REAL full shots in the post, I don't believe, though--she also wasn't wearing a petticoat for the day, so it wasn't at full poof.
This one, though, shows how it sits on her at least:

Transferring to a different school means that I don't have my photographer, anymore. ;-; So most of my outfits haven't been captured lately. But here's a couple, anyways. Last Wednesday: h.Naoto shirt, Stigmata overskirt. Plaid skirt, hat, and everything else is off brand. ( The same as this, but with a different shirt/accessories, and my hair up instead of down.) And then a couple pictures from today-- Victorian Maiden JSK, Innocent World Socks, Vintage Beret, Handmade Skirt (and bloomers). Jacket, shoes, etc are off brand.
