Also, if you ever get a chance to look at it, Toturi Bushi make good use of War Fans for their school rank abilities, and Toturi himself came from the Akodo. Food for thought. THIS IS AN ACTUAL THREAD. ...ok. Toturi? That a Lion clan? Are they as badass as the Akodo?

Plainsfox You know, Keith. The events are not being held simultaneously. You could have been watching the Shugenja matches and listening to the stories all along if you want to, just that Seichiro really had nothing to say until X moment and didn't really speak up, etc et al. SEICHIRO DOESN'T LISTEN TO STORIES. HE IS A MAN OF ACTION. Or something. Seichiro was just TOO focused on the Kyujutsu competition, if you read my posts, he never even walked far from the shooting site in the short rests. He is a dedicated man. HIS EYE WON'T BRING HIM DOWN.

Yes, Toturi Bushi are from 'The Four Winds'. Technically, it's an Imperial School.
+1 Perception
2.5 Honor
Battle (Battle Lore), Defense, Iaijutsu, Katana, Spears, War Fans, any one skill.
Rank 1: In the first round of a skirmish, after initiative is rolled but before any actions are resolved, you may make a contested perception/(Weapon Skill) roll against one target's awareness/(Weapon Skill), where Weapon Skill refers to the weapon your opponent is using. If you are successful, you gain +5 to your TNtbH, and a Free Raise on all attack rolls you make against that target.
Later on, the school ranks add bonuses from numerous stats to your Battle skill for Mass Battle rules, and add to the damage you can deal with War Fans.
Key abilities for the school are Battle skill, War Fans skill, Water Ring, and Honor.

For the record, Shinjo Gemmei rolled 4k1 for damage. Her results were:
2, 4, 17, 29.
+2 on top of that.
