She too had picked up her fork and was tapping it lightly on the wine glass well staring out the window. Looking over at M as he took a big swig of wine, she cautioned him. "You may want to pace your drinking with that, if you drink to much you'll become drunk." The way she said it was just flat out there, no lies or subtle hints that time. Picking up a roll, she tore a piece off, first watching the hot steam raise for the fresh bread. "This isn't the full meal, merely a portion. How do you like it so far?" Violet looked up at M with smile upon her face.

Smiling.....humans enjoy their deceit? M wasn't sure. It would be something to find out eventually. With each discovery, a new questions was posed. "'Drunk' is the past tense of 'drink' and would not follow 'become' in the way you phrased it," M corrected Violet, not catching her slang for inebriation. M was enjoying the food though. So many new flavors and sensations to experience and not enough time to experience them all. However, with each roll he ate, another drink he took. M's mind remained sharp and didn't consider Violet's warning, but he noticed his vision was becoming blurry and his body felt fatigued and slow. ".....what is this?...." M asked of Violet, confused.

She simply just sat there silently, unsure of whether to restrict his drinking or not. If she didn't, then he could experiance what drunk ment. " You may want to slow on rolls for the main course hasn't even been ordered yet." Nothing was mentioned about the wine, just the bread. Violet looked over and saw a waiter soon approuching, but when M had asked her something, she glanced at him. His eyes were becoming alittle dialated. "This is what drunk is...It occurs with to much alcohol comsumption which is a chemical like sustance found in what you are drinking." Now the waiter was right before their table with a pen and pad in his hand. "May I take your order?" "Uh sure, I'll take the alfredo with a side of fruit please?" The man then turned to M "And for you sir?"

".....say I will have the same.....I am not certain if my words will be intelligible now....." M thought to her, a little annoyed that he would have to miss out on the experience of ordering his first meal. 'drunkenness' was a bad thing in M's mind now. M's mind was immune to tampering, but his body wasn't obeying him properly. Would he eventually lose all motor skills if he continued drinking? ".....ask the human to bring water as well....." M sent to Violet, deciding he would change his drink.

"Can we have two orders of that please? And two glasses of water as well? Thank you" The waiter scribbled something down and walked off. "Well I got you two glasses instead of one, the more water the more watered down the alcohol will become" She reached over the table and took his hand within hers for some reason. "You ok though for right now?" Shaking his hand slightly, she was to atleast make sure he still functioned enough to react in some way.

".....of course.....as long as I don't try to move too much....or speak..." M replied bitterly. At least the food was good. Wine could be gotten used to. This was a learning experience at least. Next time he would be more prepared. A live band played softly in the background and blended in with the restaurant customer conversations, making a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. ".....you mentioned money before......are you implying not all human communities like this give freely?...." M inquired of his once human comrade.

Leeloo sighed in anger and put her head back down. Hot, angry tears ran down her face and she wished for an odd reason that she would sit downstairs with M, talking and laughing. Having fun. Her mood dampened considerably and tears soaked into the soft pillow. She did not want to rest. She wanted to talk to M. She wanted to learn about the language.

Koji looked at her nervously. She seemed nice, but he never had anyone stay that way. A few of the scientists had been nice to him before, but they always ended up turning on him. People were cold, in his experience. He hesitated, but went over and sat down.
"So, what is making you jumpy lately?" He asked, not really sure what else to say. The bed was comfortable, more so than anything he could think of at the moment.

"Well then I guess it may be best to sit back alittle and fix your gaze on one thing." But as she said that the real food had arrived. The waiter placed the plates upon the table and then set out the water before M. Violet thanked his services as he walked off. "Anyways" She began while picking up her fork to poke at the alfredo covered noodles. "Humans are usually expected to pay for just about everything. Kind of crazy right?" Finally she scooped up abit of the food and ate it, careful to savor it's unique flavor.

"....that is very interesting.....what happens when they run out of items to trade for food?...." M asked Violet, deciding he would attempt to feed himself like a human. It was unfortunate that he was under the influence, but he was also inexperienced. Clumsily picking up the fork in his right hand, M held the fork awkwardly. Barely managing to get food on the utensil, M nearly lost an eye when his coordination failed him. Once the first bite finally hit his tongue, M savored the taste. "This is delicious," he said a little slurred. ".....what do you think of the other experiments?...." M thought to Violet to take note of her first impressions.

Leeloo sighed. She couldn't bear just sitting around. The pain was dull but still bearable. She hated being dependant. She prodded around, to find the familiar mind and probed into it. She smelt and heard what he heard and smelt, and tasted and felt. She was disgusted. She sent him a message, a single exclamation of dislike.

She hummed ever so slightly in thought. "That's something I don't even know. Humans can usually produce many things by simple cultivation or manufacturing." Poking at the food again, she took another small bite in which she chewed and swallowed, only to release a sigh of compliment. It was alittle entertaining to watch M eat. "Haven't you eaten before?" When he finally caught a taste of it, he seemed impressed. With a smile, she brought her fork over to snag a piece of strawberry when he asked her opinoin on the others. "The others? Um...I guess they are ok...some more, friendlier then others." On their earlier depature out of the room, Violet had gotten some negative vibe from the injured girl. For some one so weak at the moment, it was surprising to find her hatred in tact.

M's mind was suddenly attacked by a lot of what he perceived to be white noise that he usually encountered when entering a crowd of many people. He blocked it out in the same way. M replied to Violet, taking another bite,"......I have never had to use surgical instruments to feed myself before...." M thought for a moment and then asked,"....what are your opinions on the experiment?....the world beyond this sounds very uncomfortable....do you want to leave here?...." M enjoyed listening to the music. It's calming melody was very soothing.

Her mood brightened again at his claim of the silverware being surgical tools. "Believe me, those aren't even near being like surgical tools" Her real opinouns were asked to be presented. "I don't mind Sabine, she seemed nice from when I met you two upon the shores. As the for the injured one, I'm alittle frightened. Something doesn't click with her." Violet could only hope she didn't seem rude or anything...just paranoid
