I promise I'll leave it alone until we solve this....and as for housebroken, he should be...we don't usually befoul our dens....the least I can do is give him his speech back. Hold still, little one...

There....he should be able to talk again....the spell's not permanent....but it's designed not to cease until he reaches the age where I am, from what I can gather...tis a very well-made spell....my parents really wanted me back.
*Chuckles*
At least we have an easy method of discipline on hand....I just recieved a bag of moonstones from a debtor.

It's not total, though, or we could sense that....so it's timed, but indefinite....perhaps it ends when a condition has been met.
At least feeding him won't be a concern....I've hundreds of gemstones....and as i said, I've even got moonstones for disciplining him....or do ye not understand what I mean by that.

Different gemstones have different flavors to a Gold dragon.....Diamonds are like rock candy, for example. Lapis Lazuli (oddly enough) like toothpaste. Opals have a fruity flavor, with the tang of the fruit determined by the type of opal.
Moonstones taste like soap, and are commonly used for much the same purpose as soap itself. And don't let him eat Amethyst.....it has a wine-like flavor to it....with all the effects thereof.
