Vaati found the whole thing kind of funny. The spoiled cat would now save the swordsman. He grabbed the Minish Cap out of Opal's mouth and removed the plank form Kaze's back. Vaati wanted cover his nose form the strong scent, but there wasn't time for that. "I wish the wound wasn't fatal."
The cap glowed bright red for a merely second. When Vaati looked back, the wound was a just a bad scratch. It would need to be covered and it would hurt, but any threat of Kaze dying was gone.
Darious scratched his chin. Did she just have a vision? He couldn't see it in her eyes. "What about mommy?" He asked, hiding a smirk.

Josline watched Vaati walk off, rushing over to Kaze's side, seeing the wound were the plank had struck his back. Collapsing to her knees, she felt the tears finally work down her face. She moved Kaze gently over to her lap so he was more comfortable.
Opal walked into the room seeing the ceiling that had caved on the bed. She was guessing Kaze must have protected Josline with his body. She climbed up on the rubble and went to see the source that caused this accident. When the little kitten reached the roof, she heard a giggle and someone jumping off. This was no accident... someone had caused it. She sniffed around. "A fox? No... human too..." Opal said, sitting down.
"S-she's hurt." April sobbed feeling tears move down her eyes. She looked back towards Castle Town. That's probably where she was, but even if April wanted too, she couldn't just walk there herself. She was too small to even walk a long distance by herself, someone needed to carry her. None the less, April started to make her way to Castle Town. If no one was going to check on her mother, she would. She started into a run, but dress for little girls weren't made for running. Her foot catching the hem of the dress she fell forward. Even a child her age, she would have started to cry, but all she did was stand and walked off again.

Kaze cursed Vaati under his breath. "Argh!" He tried to move his back, but due to Vaati's wish, the pain just simply wouldn't allow any movement. He looked up at Josline. "Thanks..." He muttered in a grunt as he winced.

"Careful Kaze! The plank's gone, but that doesn't mean you're not injured..." Josline said, seeing him try to move. "Don't thank me... Vaati's the one who saved you..." She said, though... this is clearly my fault... she thought, but didn't say out loud. She knew Kaze would just scold her, but it didn't stop the tears that were still working their way down her face.

Vaati put the Minish Cap back on his head and returned to the room Kaze was in. If Opal hadn't stayed, he wouldn't have bother. He moved his crimson red eyes over to Josline, then over at Kaze. He leaned against the door frame, tapping his foot.

Opal carefully made her way back down the rubble. "This was no accident... someone made that roof collapse..." Opal said, leaping to the floor and bounded up onto Vaati's shoulder. Quickly regaining her balance, she glanced over at Josline and Kaze.

Kaze looked up at Josline and lifted his hand, however, even that hurt. The moving of his arm, moved his shoulder blade, and therefore, his back. "Josline... Don't worry... I'm here..." He managed a smile and placed his hand on her cheek.

"Do I have wish for the pain to go away too?" Vaati hissed in a voice that wasn't quite his own. But he didn't wait for an answer. He moved Opal off his shoulder and held her in his hands as he walked away from the room. "What do you mean?" Vaati asked.

Opal said, looking up at Vaati. She couldn't remember many half fox breeds she knew, or many other half breeds, rather than herself, Vaati and Dark, who was an exact copy of Vaati.
Josline noticed that Kaze winced when he moved his hand. Taking it from her tear stained cheek, she moved his hand back to his chest. "Don't move Kaze..." She said, trying not to sob. Her hand wanted to grip his, to hold onto him tightly, to tell him how scared she was. Instead, she let go of it, keeping him on her lap.

Kaze nodded. "You want... to know how... this feels?... It's like... a thorn... in the back... that just won't... go away..." He explained, relaxing on Josline's lap. "I'll... be fine... in... a couple days..." He added reassuringly.

Her father being a strong swords man, didn't wish to pity his daughter, and taught her how to control her hearing, and even fight with a blade. Before Riunathia uttered even a word, she knew how to defend herself. Knowing well in blade, but also in hand to hand combat, Riuny was fierce... that's was the other reason why people picked on her. Being blind, Riuny wasn't sure of the things around her. Many of the school mates she was with would take this advantage on her and push her around. In such, Riuny decided not to trust anyone, even her own parents, and moved on her own. She didn't need help with anything, rather, just being able to survive on her own. When she was old enough, she left her home. Hoping to seek a lifestyle where she could live by herself. And not be bothered by the humanity that treated her so poorly.
