My scriptures aren't falling apart yet. I've only had them a few years and am hoping they will last a few more!

Bump. Lol, I had to staple all of the old testament on my spanish Bible and some of the last books. I couldn't buy a new one so that's how it was for a while. I just pulled out my stapled books everyone had a good laugh every time we had to look for scripture XD
I just got a new one a few months ago.

Bump.
I couldn't even staple my old set together. I tried every thing to keep it together, but decided moving to my new set was best and now I am attatched to the new set of scriptures so it's all good!

I am a sinner... "1 John 1:8"
I have a bible that is missing like 5 pages that I only use for a bible study (luckily none of the pages we study are missing). My husband said he wanted to get me a new one, but right now money is too tight and I know I'm not missing out lol. The binding in the bible I got for Christmas is cracking to the point of almost breaking and I think I'm going to have to duct tape it if it does break. I prefer soft cover bibles to the hard cover ones because of this reason. I have tape on my Celebrate Recovery bible because it was by my side for the past year through my step work, but I use it less now lol.

Mine is a bonded leather one, so it's soft cover and it's really nice. I don't like the paper bound ones because they fall apart so easily. And the hard covers annoy me.

Bonded leather is best I think. Hard backs annoy me because I can't multi-task with them and I like to highlight things in my bible and with the hard back it makes it difficult.

Bump
I tried using a hard back a few years back, but struggled with even taking notes and highlighting, plus I like to some times compare versions of the bible side by side and the hard back made that so hard unless I was sitting at the table or some thing. But yes, I love the bonded leather, even if the prices are a bit steep they last forever!
