Vaati was already unconscious when Sora came back. Ezlo was beside him, trying to wake him up but with no hands, he could only watch in horror.

Shadows moved as a girl was sitting in a tree watching the battle. Her hands outstretched as if warming her hands to a fire. But really what she was doing was absorbing the anger and hate that was radiating off them like a heater. She saw Sepheroith as she smirked. "This will be fun." She said as she jumped down wondering what time would be right to fight him.

Sora put the healing fairy over Vaati, and it worked its magic, healing his wounds. Then it flew off.
"What do we do?"
Just then, Sora saw the fairies he had created. They had no home, so naturally they flocked around the nearest person in need of healing.
"This isn't necessarily good! Fairies don't choose sides when they heal!"
One came down to Sora and healed his arm. Then it flew off.

Zelda stood beside Silver, "We have to pull back, it's too much." She said, hoping she would listen.
Rock Shooter kept firing at the machines until she noticed Sephiroth, "Finally, someone who looks like they're worth fighting for." She said as she turned her attention to him.

Vaati woke up several minutes later. He was in a pool of blood and his entire chest was stained with blood, but he wasn't hurt. He was slightly confused and Vaati blamed the grogginess. "Huh?"
"Are you alright, Vaati?" Ezlo asked, his voice dripping with concern. "You aren't in the mood to fight. I don't think we can take them, we should get out of here."
