"We should eat something and maybe see if Kaylene is up. I let her join us, I saw no trouble with her." Denji shrugged and took her hand as he pulled himself to his feet.

Kayleen gave a half smile "I think I understand... it is an engagement to be engaged... I think.." She laughed. "No big deal. Are you hungry? Because my stomach is growling!"

"Food sounds good!" Mercutio smiled as he grabbed Kaylene's hand and rushed her out of the room for the food. He found himself at the table. "Hmm... not sure about the food anymore unless someone is going to serve it to us..."

Askari almost lost her smile but managed to keep it, "Sure." she said, pulling Denji out of the room with her, a light blush visible on her cheeks.

"You don't mind right?" Denji asked as he trailed along behind her, his tail swaying slowly. "I mean, I didn't ask you..." He was nervous now... the heat always bothered him. He wasn't sure what to do once he made to Death Mountain.

Kaylene smiled. She liked the feeling when he held he hand. She giggled a little when he still held it when he stopped in the kitchen. "Well... Ms. Impa gave me some bread last night and it is in that cabinet." She pointed to one of the higher cupboards. "I am not sure of anything else... I saw some interesting beans growing around here the other day..."

Mercutio looked in the cupboard and did find some bread. He grabbed too pieces and hand the biggest piece to Kaylene. He nibbled on his piece. "Not so fond of beans..." He shrugged at that too. "Are you going with Denji? I heard him muttering about going to Death Mountain..."
Denji paused and blinked. He decided not to ask anymore than that, he doubted he would get a better answer than 'No.' He followed her with a small hint of confusion on his face.

Kaylene smiled. "That is ok.. this will hold us over for now." She took small bites then realized he had asked her another question. "Oh.. I did plan on going with Denji. But... well... Do you maybe want to come with? I mean.. I have no right to invite you, but Denji and Askari are very close.. and it feels awkward when I have no one to talk to..." She looked Mercutio over. He was very sweet.. She definitely would love to learn more about him... She really hoped he would want to come with.

"I think I will, if we can get along that is. I don't want to upset him." Mercutio fought the urge to shrug again. It was a weird habit. "I want to feel like I'm doing something important, even though I can't fight at all..."

Kaylene smiled. "I am sure you will get along! And you will be important! We could use your medical knowledge of plants and herbs... I do not know any of them here..I wouldn't be able to cure simple stuff with my magic. Besides.. You'll be important to me... I need someone to talk to!" She grabbed his arm and pulled him out of the kitchen, looking for Denji.

Askari glanced back at Denji and smiled, "You not like Death Mountain or something? Last time we were there we fell into the Dodongo's Cavern..where we were almost burnt.." she chuckled at her strange memories, a slight smile on her face.

"Not to mention all the dodongo blood..." Denji chucked at the memory. "That smelled horrible." He winced. It felt like a few days ago when he was drenched in dodongo blood, the smell was still strong in his nose.
Mercutio smiled at the thought. It made him feel important. "Alright, I'll join if he lets me. I think he's the leader of it all. Why can't you heal simple things, though?"

Kaylene sighed, remembering a small patient she had. "Well... If it is a small fixx, like a cut... or a common cold.. a small cough.. then I really can't fix it. For me, I deal with more complicated things.... It is hard to tone down my healing magic to smaller things like those... Last time I tried to heal a girl with a cough, I used to much magic... and she couldn't breathe..." Kaylene looked away, tears forming at the corners of her eyes. People hated her for killing the small child.. She hated herself. She didn't heal for a long time, picked it bak up when she healed a man whose arm was hanging on by a hair.
