But there are many people who feel the most alone when there is a crowd of people about them, and no one talking to them. A sinking feeling of being so close yet so far from so many is enough to drive many over the edge of despair and into the depths... in these dark times it is far to easy to fall, and that is part of why holidays of light exist to balance out that darkness.

THese holidays of light cast shadows as well.

Without shadow the light would seem dim, and without the light the shadow would be endless.

For the some people caught in the shadow The fact that the light is right there and cannot be reached is sometimes worse that being in endless shadow with no ligh tin sight.
