Ceana Hikari: I agree with everyone else. :3 You did a fabulous job and look absolutely adorable!
... also, I bought a flat headdress. I can't decide if I like it or not, yet. I need to actually get unlazy and try it on with a full outfit. ._.;;

Post-work as usual with messy, half-flipped bangs and a choker that my roommate mailed me.

spuntino: I think it looks rather cute! But I do think that a thinner headdress would suit you better (~2in wide, or so).

I was thinking about the same, actually. To match that bustle skirt I'm working on [that will probably never be finished at this rate].

This one:

With a black underskirt. (: It's really over the top and ridiculous, but I love it. The hem has the lace trim on it, which will be backed by a ruffle, and the seams down the front are "hidden" with beading lace because I forgot to align the pattern properly when I sewed it all together.
It's probably about a third of the way done? Maybe?

I remember seeing the pictures of that fabric! It's fabulous. wink
And I can't fault you for partially finished sewing projects. I still have a pile of things for myself that are in various states of completion... Like that black x offwhite OP... And the damned pink scallop hemmed skirt that I had planned to sell has been growing on me since it's been sitting there, waiting to be lined + attach the waistband D: Curse the sweetness.

Just remember! Your Moitie would probably eat it. haha I've just been kind of lazy about it this summer, dealing more with drawing and actual job-stuff than with sewing.

Mea will post pics later of the both of us (she was super adorable in a black and pink coordinate) but here is one of what I had on before going to Ocoee. Oooh! A picture thread!
Heehee, this is me in my very first Lolita outfit:

It was completely handmade, so there wasn't a lot of detail put into it. But I liked the outcome.
Here's another picture:

I'm the one doing the second "L" in "L-O-L-I-T-A", the third one from the left standing up. 3nodding
