The original watch plan was Denbe -> Kojiro -> Masuyo. That's kind of been shot to heck.

However, however you three work it out, be it Kojiro forcing himself awake in a fit of paranoia or you just giving up and all going to sleep, the rest of the night passes without incident.

Masuyo, with your waking and casting spells, you'll need the sleep the full night to regain those spell slots. What do you do?

Kojiro, this fiasco started around the time you were going to start watch anyways. Depending on Masuyo's answer, do you pick up the slack?

Kagae, you now know there are people trying to kill you in your sleep. Do you really trust your life in the hands of these jokers, or do you give a hand after all, especially since you have your own prisoner now?

Being relatively spoiled when it comes to sleep, Masuyo will not wake up unless woken by an external force.

Kojiro, you've barely slept all night, unlike your companions. The sun begins to rise and sting your weary eyes, but you managed to make it the whole night.

Fubuki ate the treat and slumbered off, but seemingly would wake up periodically to look at Kojiro before going back to sleep.

Kagae! You're fine! Masuyo! You're fine and have spells!

Kojiro, you're kind of yawny. Give me a TN 5 Stamina roll. You're good if you make it, but throughout the day I will call for progressively harder rolls, and on a failure, you will be officially fatigued until you sleep.

You guys have two cultists, one bound, one not! Both are still, both are pale.

You hear a bird chirping somewhere away from your temple-shack.

What's first on the agenda?

A close examination will reveal that the young man IS still breathing - but very weakly. His skin is actually fairly cold and clammy as well.

"Would you like a map Kojiro-san? There are many dangers out there, most of them left by me and you can observe the damage they can do, I have something with them all marked out." Called out Kagae fumbling with his scroll tube mid armour donning to offer the map to Kojiro, "Give it back when you're done if you do."

@ Masuyo & Kagae:

As soon as Kojiro leaves, Fubiki begins licking Masuyo's face in an attempt to rouse her from her slumber. All the REST of the humans were getting up! cat_mad

If she awakes, she sees two cultists (one tied up not far from her, and one near where Kagae slept), and Kagae putting on his armor, but no Kojiro. Or Denbe or Miyako, for that matter.

@ Kojiro:

You still seem to be riding that short rest from earlier, and aren't winded yet. You could really go for some tea though.

Kagae's map gives you a free raise to avoid falling in pits!

There was too much commotion last night. You see heavier footfalls, which you think was Kagae poking around last night, but beyond that, you can't really figure out who did what and where they went to or came from. You can't even be sure which are Denbe's tracks.

Kojiro, are you currently armored? Just asking.

Also, give me a Raw Perception roll while you're looking about!

The smallest of groans emanated from within the folds of cloth on the floor. Two arms reached out and clung to the offending vulpine, enveloping it within. A few rapid squirms and an excited yip later and the blanket came flying off. Masuyo was partway between a giggle and an exasperated sigh when she finally remembered where she was and what was going on. Suddenly the sigh got much heavier. She cast about for only a moment before Kagae brought her attention to the new occupant.

She gathered and packed her things before removing the medical kit and making her way across the room. Right away she could tell it was bad. She did her best to examine him, but though she knew they would all have to be replaced, she only removed ones as necessary, and carefully.

@ Kagae & Masuyo:

Passing over the bound man, Masuyo made her way to the unbound, bandaged man.

Well, 14 is enough to tell you that he's ALIVE. You actually had to triple check, because his pulse is so weak it's barely registering. Beyond that, you don't know. You can't even begin to guess if he would make it or not.

@ Kojiro:

Kojiro tries to puzzle out where everyone's come and gone. He can even follow a trail of blood drops to a previously occupied spiked pit, but beyond that, he's got nothing.

Thoughts of possible ambushes might go through his head, especially since he was tired and not at full capacity. And that he was alone.

Not shaking the feeling he was being watched, he is able to return back to the temple if he so pleases. Nothing happens en route.

Or, at least, nothing happens that Kojiro notices with a 2.
