shia goes to play but ye can see there is still a ton of questions in her mind... in case ye haven't figured it out yet... she is concerned with why her kin want to do ye in.... and she'll get it out of ye sooner or later... she's a persistent little fox, she is....

*After about a week, Kero and Shia returned to Lyssan's castle, where Kero told Shia she could have a few days off...but he told her he had deadlines for her...if she did not tell Champhy who put the weevils in the flour, she would be in trouble when they got back to the Void*

shia blinks in confusion... but that was a bad shipment of flour... didn't she tell ye... they showed up right after that funny old merchant.... then she pauses and frowns... that funny old merchant who showed da that stupid horse... that funny olde merchant who teased keva... that... ooooo.... iffin i ever get me paws on that trickster i'll claw his eyes out!!!!!!!

Lyssan shia ducks her head into her book and begins studying with earnest.... remembering a belated prank she had played on the cook but which has somehow never come about... had champy found the weavils in the flour yet... they had to be fairly well distributed by now.... *Kero fixes Shia with the truth stare* Right...bad shipment my hind paws...kiddo....ye can't outwit me...not right now, and not with a fib. However...I agree with you on the trickster bit...and I'll show ye what's happening when ye tell Champhy what ye did and apologize to her. Note: If I misinterpreted...I'm sorry...but that seems to imply that she did set those weevils...

she did.... but she had to try and get out of it... right?
realizing she was cornered shia slinks down to the kitchen, but when she is confronted by champhy she freezes.... suspecting that the little fox was about to do something she had never done in the past... champhy decides to wait her out.... when kerobian notices how much time has passed, he goes to investigate finding the two of them standing in the hall outside the kitchen door... champhy with her arms crossed grinning wickedly leaning against the wall... shia is standing there stammering something totally lame and off the subject but she seems to slowly (and i mean slowly) piecing together a heartfelt apology... champhy looks up and sees kerobian... this yer doing? shes asks with a smirk... i've never seen her so tongue tied in me life.... blaugh

Yep...told her she'd best apologize...or she'd be in worse trouble when we got back to my home...punish her as ye see fit...as her master, I give you permission.

champhy chuckles and nods to the kitchen door... ye know where to find me jar... and this time i think just making her come here is punishment enough.... she certainly isn't having a very easy time of it is she... rolleyes

Tis true, tis true..*pulls Champhy aside*...explain something to me...Shia is well behaved...and seems calm...so why is she so deathly afraid of being spanked? Did someone abuse her when she was little?

champhy turns thoughtful... naw... but there was this colt of mine who used to come around when she was younger... bad news he was... i think he must have scared the heck out of her about it... i threatened (didn't do it mind ye - only threatened)to paddle her behind iffin she didn't stay out of me cookie jar... and she turned a white as a sheet... yep... knowing all the other trouble he caused whe he was here, i'd say he probably filled her ears with all sorts of hellish stories... doubt he touched her hisself... he was too smart to do that... but scare her... i wouldn't put it pass him for one blessed moment... a down right nasty piece of work he was... sometimes i wish i hadn't sent him to live with his dad when he was small... it's kelpies like him that give us all a bad name....

shia looks up with a start then flashes both of them a weak grin... champhy... i'm... i'm sorry i conjured the weevils... i didn't mean for them to be so many or get so bad... but i couldn't make them go away after i got them here.....
champhy sighs... magic users... she grumbles testily... child ye got to learn that ye don't do something unless ye've learned how to undo it first... got that?
shia nods frantically....

*After that, Shia had a pleasant two weeks off...Kero decided to stay for a few more days...then they both went back to the Void...soon afterward, Shia woke up to find that she had been shaving creamed in the bed...the culprit is obvious....Rhea*

shia goes to her bathroom and washes up, wondering if shaving cream is good for her fur... she decides she needs to retaliate, but is determined to find out a bit more about rhea before she does.... and equally determined not to show rhea that she's upset....
