I guess that's an occupational hazard for cat owners. I know they can be declawed and all, but I'd never, never want to do that.

You CAN get them declawed...but it would be like if I went ahead and cut off the first digit of all my fingers.... not nice. So I trim their nails periodically instead.

I know exactly what you mean. It makes me cringe to think of declawing.
