Rawthix Do you have to be a certain rank or age before you become an akatsuki, wait, better yet, what are the qualifications to become a member, it's to my understanding that there is a group of people that are against the akatsuki already, even though there has been few occurrences . Im looking forward to joining it, along with my death thread bloodline...which still hasn't been posted. In the main forum, all three organizations are displayed along with all the instructions on how to join.

Well, there is no actual need, however, it is entirely up to whomever is running the roleplay. Typically, Akatsuki only contains S-ranked characters because that's how canon material describes them: S-ranked criminals. And I would deduce that in order to be in Akatsuki, one would have to be sufficiently powerful or skilled so why not S-ranked characters?

Tempestpeg hehe..i just checked. water walking is listed as a skill as well Twenty-thousand brownie points if you can tell us why it is a skill and not a jutsu.

it is a skill because like tree walking it is simply an exercise in learning to control chakra as opposed to changing the nature or form of the chakra. ....i think

No, but if you think about it, Akatsuki doesn't accept people who aren't already exceedingly strong. (I am speaking in terms of canon, mind you.) They didn't have a waiting list (unless you count Tobi, which you really shouldn't because him being Madara meant that he was running s**t behind the scenes so Pein accepted Tobi without any guff). And it doesn't seem right to take a spot for yourself if you are working your character up to Akatsuki standards. (I would personally like to see someone work up to their standards and then apply rather having their admittance set in stone.)
