Askari licked Denji's cheek with her rough tongue. Of course, she mewed quietly, laying her head on his chest.

Kaylene shook her head to Impa before she left. Mercutio had waken her up... his magic caused her to sneeze. She wanted to again.. but she forced the thought out her mind. Smiling she looked down at the cat. "Ok... I guess you can stay with me... you can't do any harm. Well.. At least I hope not..." She picked him up and cuddled him in her arms. She scratched him behind the ear and headed back to Impa's house. "Where I come from.. it is improper for a girl to stay with a man in the same room... but seeing that you are a cat... I think I should be fine... Do you speak with your thoughts too? I am just getting used to this type of magic." She brushed a blonde lock of her out her face and smiled at the cat eagerly awaiting his response.

Even if I wasn't a cat, I'm still a boy. I just meow... if you can understand me? Mercutio meowed quietly. He never got spoiled like this before, his fault for not using his cat form more often. He put his head against her chest, he was tired.Where do you come from?
Denji put a hand on her back and stroked her softly. He was getting tired, and it was obvious he was falling asleep. "What do you think of Mercutio?"

Askari purred softly. Don't worry, he's not much to me. Maybe like a little brother..besides, I'm more for the 'hero' type. she mewed, licking Denji's cheek again.

Kaylene nodded, her blue eyes dancing with excitement. "I come from a land far from here... It is called Seth. It is beyond those high mountains that surround Hyrule. It is a place located on the sea. It is about a three month journey if the weather conditions are good. Back at home... women didn't have a say in a lot of tings.. but since everyone was afraid of me... I kind of got excluded. Somu, my foster father took me in. He taught me how to be a proper lady with manners.. but he also taught me in the ways of healing and magic, but those traditions... no one is here to say that I broke one rule. Besides... I have a feeling that I can trust you. I don't think you will try anything..." She smiled as she tiptoed up the stairs. She nodded to Askari and Denji, bidding them good night, then headed back to her room. The moon was setting in the west and she sighed; it was getting very late. She kicked off her silk slippers and wiggled under her covers once more. She let Mercutio go, but only smiled when she saw the he was fast asleep in her arms. She petted him gently then hugged him against her chest. She fell asleep with in moments.

Denji missed her forehead again. "So you aren't interesting in him?" He asked quietly, his eyes feeling heavy. "Are you stay in your cat form all night?"

Askari shook her cat head, 'I don't like him that way, Denji. Only you.' she mewed, then answered his second question with something of her own question, 'That depends, would you like to sleep by a cat or a girl tonight?' she asked, chuckling like only a cat could.

"Stay kitty then... I don't want to sleep in the same bed as a girl in Impa's house..." Denji murmured with a yawn. He quickly fell asleep, but his hand continued to stroke her fur.

Askari had a catish grin on her face when she licked Denji's cheek, then close her eyes. The orange cat purred softly and quietly, falling asleep quickly.

Denji woke up as soon as the sun hit the window. He simply moaned and laid flat on his back. He didn't want to disturb Askari's sleep. "Today we go meet the Fire Sage." Denji whispered to himself.

Askari stretched, her paws padding against Denji's cheek. Her ears twitched and her tails swayed slightly.

Denji stroked her fur. "Are you up yet?" He asked quietly. He didn't wait for a response before he shifted into his cat form and nudged his head in her fur.

Kaylene yawned. She wasn't tired surprisingly, considering that she was up half the night. Looking out the window, she saw it was a little past sunrise. She sneaked out of the covers so she didn't wake the slumbering cat next to her. Going to the window, she smiled. She offered her thanks to the Sun god, then to the goddess of the sea. They were her favorite gods that she always looked to for guidance. There were many other other gods.... but she thought she would be fine.. as long as she was a good person. She finished her prayer and began humming to herself.

Mercutio's ears twitched as he stretched and woke up. He was a light sleeper, it wasn't abnormal for him to wake up to the slightest movements. He meowed a greeting and jumped to the window sill, nudging his head against her arm.

Kaylene smiled when she felt the cat. She scratched his ears and sighed. It was odd how often these people changed between forms... she only shapeshifted to hid herself in situations of danger... or when she snuck out at night. "Well.. I told a little about myself.. Why don't you tell me something about you?" She turned at sat on the bed, leaving him by the window sill. He took a brush from her bag that she carried and started brushing her long blonde hair free of knots.
