"As I see it... " mutters Tam examining the weave without touching it. "We have one of two options... well three, really but one of those three is no better than one of the first two I even hesitate to suggest it. Still we can either take the whole thing down to get them out... or let them be... but it should be their choice to stay.... or slice into it, which if it is constructed as I suspect it is, is probably no better than taking it completely down. What is your take on this... I must warn ye, I was horrible at set spells. I'm a fly by the seat of my pants sort of guy... It's instinctive with me..."

He shakes his head. "All that magic slamming into him at once, might not be such a good idea, iffin ye know what I mean... he's already rather emotinally unbalanced right now."

"Any suggestions for keeping him under control then? I don't know about the rest of ye... but that little lion is gifted with a level of curiosity that makes a kitten look positively old... "

Tam tucks his legs up under him and floats in midair. "There is only so much I'm allowed to do here, only certain powers I'm allowed to wield. Iffin I overstep myself, ye'll be calling in Hope to finish raising him... I won't be given a second chance."

"Can ye reach XII? or VII? What do they suggest we do?" says Tam scratching his head.

Tam growls testily, sounding very much like an angry lion. "Let me rephrase that... I'm not suggesting ye help me... I'm telling ye to help me... give me yer best guess scenarios here, people. Yer all mages... true ye can't work with my sources, but then neither can I work very well with yers. That's why I let ye set this up. I messed it up once... and now ye've all made a bit of a stickler out of it yerselves... so let's get it right this time, shall we... Iffin we all put our heads together, surely we can figure something out. Has anything like this happened before, where the child had to be restrained because he was recovering his memories too fast?"

Tam nods and returns to his examination of the weave. "Will it absorb XII and VII? Are we going to lose them?" he muses out loud. Reaching out he touches the tentacle tip and concentrates, trying to reach the mind of his friend.

Tam sighs with relief. "Ok... I'm stepping out then... and turning this rodeo back over to you. With luck, when it thins enough, ye should be able to pull them out yerself. Just keep a close eye on the cub, warn me iffin he begins to fiddle again, ok? The least I do here, the better off we'll all be, but I can't supervise what I can't wield."

Tam rolls his eyes and snatches the dragon into a hug. "Behave brat... or I'll tell everyone where ye hide yer secret stash of topazes."

Tam smiles wickedly. "I'm an angel remember? I know a lot of stuff..." Then he chuckles. "But don't worry yer secret is safe... I was only guessing... It was an educated guess though... based on the time I spent with XII during his moon phase periods... the two of us got into quite a bit of trouble together ye know...." he winks and hugs the dragon again. "Good luck. I know ye can't always contact me, but try iffin ye need me. This should not have gotten this far out of hand." And with that Tam slips from Kerobian's sub-conscious.

Lying on the bed, looking across at the ebony dark fur, he finds himself wondering if the trouble they were having with Kero's rejuvenation had anything to do with him. Had he grown too close to the cub? Encouraged him to growth along a path that was too far out of line with the others? Shaking his head as he ran his long fingers through that soft warm fur, he decides that no, Kero's personality was still very much his own. All he had done differently that he could see was to encourage him to feel more deeply than he had ever felt before. There was a method to his madness. He just hoped there was more method there than madness, because he suspected life from this point out was going to be a rather bumpy ride.
