Alex took off his shoes before crawling under the covers, lying on his side. "I could go much longer if it wasn't for this stupid cold." He laughed a little bit before closing his eyes and falling asleep. He honestly had been feeling exhausted lately, and was quite glad to relax like this.

Shin had to laugh a little as he watched his friend fall asleep "Thank goodness for that stupid cold then..heh.." shin turned around walking out of the room and heading down stairs, he went into the living room sitting down on the couch "Hello there friend couch, I love you and I am going to sleep on you so hah" shin laughed to himself laying back on the couch and falling asleep quickly.

((Friend couch? XD))((Can I do this? I suppose I can. I dunno. . .anyway: ))Day. . .Eight!((I really don't know ><)) Sasha stirred a little in her sleep before she opened her eyes and woke up. She sat up and stretched before smiling happily and getting off the bed, and out of the room; she couldn't believe she'd slept for an entire day. She past the stairs, looking over them and finding Shin in the living room. She wanted to bother him, but first, she'd get some fresh air. She turned and continued onto the balcony, shielding her eyes from the bright sun.
For whatever reason, it felt like something good might come. Sasha brushed it aside as she formed a small water ball in her hand, letting it float in her hand before leaving it on its own as she leaned on the barrier, looking at the scene below.
Tohru opened his eyes, just laying there for a moment longer before quickly getting up and looking around; it was morning, which meant he had fallen asleep. He sighed as he looked at the paperwork before getting up off the bed and into the bathroom which was connected to his room to wash his face. After that was done, he headed back and cleaned up all the papers; he'd gotten the important things out of the way, at least.
Setting the papers aside, Tohru left his room, stretching his arms a little as he walked down the stairs, glad to see Alex was back in his room; the guy really was calm when he slept. It was a shame that was rare. He noted sadly that he was having trouble breathing again and walked into the room, checking on Alex's fever, which had gone down by a lot. At least that was a good sign. He sighed as he pulled the covers over Alex a little more before walking out of the room and onto the back porch, not expecting to find Sasha there at all.
Sasha turned around after hearing a sound, looking at Tohru. She blinked before turning around all the way, smiling warmly at the man. She couldn't explain it, but something about him made her feel really safe, despite the fact that she had only just met him. "Morning!"
"Morning," Tohru answered, as he walked towards her, though really just leaning on the barrier. "So I'm not the only one who wakes up this early?"
"Alex wakes up earlier. But he's sick," Sasha pointed out, looking up at Tohru; she remembered how Alex had said the two looked alike, in a way. But she didn't think so. Though come to think about it, the man looked a bit like their father.
"Hm? What's wrong?" Tohru asked, a little curious as to why she was looking at him.
"N-Nothing."
Sasha just stared at the ground beneath her feet, feeling a bit awkward and not really sure what to say. There was a lot she wanted to ask him, sure; mainly about why Alex was so sore about their parents. But though she knew that they were brother and sister, she couldn't really bring herself to ask such a question. Maybe Alex had a reason for her not knowing?
Tohru chuckled before putting a hand on Sasha's head. "Alright, squirt. What's on your mind?" he asked, smiling pleasantly. "You're making really weird faces."
"I am?!" Sasha blushed lightly, a little embarrassed for getting lost in her thoughts. "I'm sorry. This is just really weird."
"The fact that I'm a lot older than you or the fact that we've been declared brother and sister?"
"Both, actually."
"Ouch. Not nice. Not nice at all." Tohru couldn't help but laugh, though. He, himself, had just remembered Sasha, though he didn't really expect her to know him at all.
Sasha looked at Tohru curiously. Is he really my brother? I mean. . .he and Alex are so different! She thought for a moment, trying to connect the two together before putting her hands on her head. "And now my head hurts from thinking too much!"
"Then don't think too much," Tohru said.
Sasha stuck her tongue out at him childishly before she made a small water ball and threw it at the man, wetting him. "I'll admit, I like you better than Alex."
"Yeah, well. At least Alex doesn't wet you without warning." Tohru chuckled as he moved his wet hair from his face, shaking his head. "That was a pretty cheap move."
"Beats trapping you in a giant version of it."
"Good point. . ."

Shin woke up blinking at the sun as he sat up on the couch "Couch..you are no longer my friend...you suck" he said glaring at the couch a little, it hadnt been as comfortable to sleep on as hed thought but he was exhausted and so it hadnt mattered at the time.
Shin got up stretching hearing his back pop "Hmm...wonder if the stubborn brat is up yet" shin said smiling, not feeling tired anymore. The boy went up stairs checking into alexs room, a bit surprised to find him still asleep where he was "Dang...lex must realy be sick to be sleeping in like this" shin thought never having known the boy to sleep in, let alone stay in one place for so long.

"Alright, Little Miss. Sunshine. You've got to tell me; how much fun do you have knowing you can manipulate water and suffocate anyone you damn well please?" Tohru asked, wiping his face which was partially wet.
"One condition; you tell me why Alex hates our parents so much," Sasha said simply.
Tohru looked at Sasha, still smiling, though not as much. "What makes you think that I know?"
"Please. You grew up with him. You're bound to know."
Tohru looked at the girl for a moment before he sighed, looking at the ground. "I'm sorry. But I really can't say."
"Why?" Sasha asked, not giving up that easily. "Why does everything about my brother have to be kept a secret from me? I lived with him for two years and still, I don't know a thing about him. I'd like to know at least something! At least why he and mom and dad were so cold towards each other!"
Tohru kept looking at the ground, not saying a word. He didn't like when people asked him about Alex. But he also hated not being able to say anything when he knew that they deserved to know.
"Answer me!" Sasha demanded, looking at Tohru.
Tohru thought for a moment. He truly wanted to tell the girl as he looked at her sadly. "I honestly can't. Too many things happened and. . .I don't want him losing trust in everybody," he said finally after a while. His voice was apologetic, and he couldn't look at Sasha directly. "Life's messed up. And for whatever reason, good people can't seem to be allowed to be happy." He put a hand on Sasha's head, ruffling up her hair a little before he bent down and whispered something in her ear. Something that made her eyes wide with shock as she dared to believe him. She looked at the man, as though trying to find some hint of false information.
Tohru merely shook his head, assuring her that he wasn't lying before he walked back into the house and downstairs, passing Shin but not sparing him a glance.

Shin turned watching tohru go, wondering what was bothering the guy, he didnt look happy like he normaly did. Shin just shrugged, walking away from alexs room towards the balcony tohru had come from, he decided it was best not to bother either of the boys.
Shin was a bit surprised to see sasha out there, he was glad for it too "Hey there sasha..nice to see your awake finaly" he said smiling at the girl.

"Eh? Ah, yeah," Sasha said, laughing a little. "I'm awake now." She made a small water ball in her hand and held it for a split second before letting it float there; she decided she wouldn't let what Tohru said bug her. Not now, anyway.

Shin smiled walking up to the girl "Hey, if I pop it will you kill me?" he asked rather happily as he watched the floating bubble of watter "Hey..whats up with tohru..he looks pretty, well I dont know exactly but he doesnt look to happy" shin said watching the girl.

Sasha shrugged as she pushed the bubble towards Shin, letting him do what he wanted with it; she didn't think she had any right to repeat what Tohru had told her.
Tohru walked into the kitchen, leaning on a counter and string at the ceiling. He ran a hand through his hair, honestly wondering why he'd told Sasha just that small piece of information. She looked shocked to find out. Hope I didn't just trouble her. . .
He opened up a drawer, finding his cigarette packet inside, along with his lighter. He sighed as he took out a cigarette and the lighter, before walking out the back door, lighting the cigarette and exhaling the smoke. It'd been a long time since he'd smoked. He only ever did such a thing when he was insanely stressed, mainly because he knew Alex had hated it. "He'll kill me when he finds out I told her."

Shin laughed smiling as he watched the fragile looking thing "Thats so cool sasha, I honestly wish I could do that" he said reaching out and touching the floating watter bubble "Youve been practicing alot havent you...and now your being all weird too? Wha is it sad day and I missed the memo?" he said happily giving sasha a curious look.

Sasha stuck her tongue out at Shin before he let the bubble splash over Shin, quickly gathering the water in the air once more and making another. "Maaaybe~!"

"Ah! Hey thats wet! and not fair" he said laughing a little as he shook the water out of his hair "Feh, try it again ill just pop it!" he said smiling at the girl "Ya know, your pretty fun, whats with the maybe though?" he said watching her do the water trick.

"A maybe is a maybe. No matter how you look at it," Sasha said simply. She was having fun messing with the boy. She held the one water bubble in her hand for a second longer, making it pretty much cold before sending it Shin's way again and giggling just a little.

Shin laughed a small needle of ice shooting through the water bubble, causing it to burst. "Are you kidding me? Come on in your family, maybe is only a code word for some other cryptic thing, that cant be explained easily" shin said laughing.

"Hey! You popped it! That wasn't nice," Sasha pouted before moving a piece of her hair behind her ear. "Alright, I admit. My family's weird. but that doesn't mean there's not the odd one. And this generation, it would be me!" She sat up on the barrier, being careful not to fall over. "Ice. . .that's water. huh?"
Alex rolled over onto his back before opening his eyes and looking at the ceiling for a moment, shielding his eyes from the sudden light as he sat up. He got out of the bed and stretched, feeling only slightly dizzy. He still needed to change clothes, feeling a little dirty now as he walked out of the room and to Tohru's. He noted that Shin and Sasha were on the balcony, obviously having some fun. He'd bug them later. When he got to Tohru's room, he noted the man wasn't in it.
A little confused, he decided to check downstairs, not finding him anywhere. Alex sighed, almost coming to the conclusion that he'd left before he passed the kitchen, noting the back door was open.
