I think you guys are all older than me here, my 3rd Gaia anniversary is 1 month away from yesterday. I remember when I first joined, my Neopet friend Phurry introduced me to Gaia and well, we just hit it off right from the start! Anyone remember the old layout? The one with the mini-wings on the menu? I suck at descriptions, sorry. Well that was my favourite Gaia layout eva. EVA I SAY EVA!!!! kay sorry for that sweatdrop

The overall community aspect of Gaia seems to have gone downward, for me at least. People just aren't as nice or friendly or intelligent as they used to be. Everywhere I look it's left and right chat speaking!! The chatterbox is filled with annoying n00bs with nothing fun to talk about besides InuYasha & Naruto, most of the more original, older, cooler guilds have died off... I have nothing to do now but complain at the lack of creativity plaguing the Avatar Arena and ranting at the people who have n00b entries begging for 10's so they can win gold to get cooler stuff. Speaking of which... don't people seem more gold-hungry and greedy these days? Just look at the marketplace. I've been playing it lots lately, some of the prices are just ridiculous now! And there seems to be more scammers out there now too. Literally 1 minute after I bought some 10K item, I got a PM from the 'BanAdmin' that I was suspected of hacking accounts and should send my password right away in order to clear the whole mess up rofl I've gotten at least 8 similar messages over the past month just from buying a few higher prices items from the marketplace.

I much preferred the term Donation Items over Monthly Collectibles. The new term just doesn't seem to have the same... value, and merit, as Donation Item did. For me at least, with DI it actually felt like the original intent of buying a letter was that you were helping out Gaia, now with MC it just seems like your doing it for the item inside. As for the new items themselves I really haven't been overly excited about them. I used save up my gold all month in preparation for the new item releases way back when, and see if my hard-earned gold would be spent on that elusive new Staff of The Angels or OMFG. Pretty much after KiKi's & RoRo's were released I started to loose interest in the new items. They just seemed... well sorta lame really. The next time I bought a Donation Item for personal enjoyment instead of profit was when the Pixie's came out, and I ended up selling it last week because I got so bored of it >_> Plus the newer items; EVERYBODY has them. Good lord, go into the Avatar Arena and your bombarded with Element Hairs & Lunar Scythes & Celebrity Dates in the exact same poses! Makes the items less interesting if you ask me.

What do you guys think of the games and such? Not really a 'new' feature per say, but I gotta admit I loved them from the start. Fishing is still my all time favourite game, it gives me something to waste gold & hours on (seeing as I have no cool Monthly Collectibles to spend it on).
