H o s h ! k o Konnichiwa! Allison desu. kyo wa atsui desu ne!!! [Hello! I'm Allison. It's hot out today isn't it!!] How come "desu" was used twice but the english word wasn't repeated?

SenSin H o s h ! k o Konnichiwa! Allison desu. kyo wa atsui desu ne!!! [Hello! I'm Allison. It's hot out today isn't it!!] How come "desu" was used twice but the english word wasn't repeated? ("Desu" means "is" or "am". Or almost anything else you can get from the verb "to be".) Atsui dewa nai, kedo, chotto atatakatta. Ii deshita ne~. "It's not hot, but it was kinda warm. It was nice."

(ha ha, I"m not sure I live in New Jersey is correct but I sort of guessed. don't know how to say it is cold here but it is. )
(ps. It's Spring already but it's freezing and it just snowed in April)

Aa! Pocky san wa MAZAKI ANZU ga suki desu ka. Watashi mo! =D ANZU wa kawaii to yasashii desu nee? Hehe. Demo, watashi no YUGIOH no sukina kyara wa HAJIIME IMORI desu. IMORI ga suki desu ka.
