Shounen-ai~!
I find it very cute, and girls
can sort of relate when it comes to us with guys.
Specialy the relationship building part, like it's
almost a drama but funny too~!
Also, I am a big fan of everything kawaii~!!
The guys in Shounen-ai I think are more kawaii~!!

I really like both. For me, when I see Yaoi, it's more of a 'omg that's HOT' reaction, that induces drooling. But when I see Shonen Ai, It's gets a more 'OMG that's soo sweet and cute! *huggles* ' reaction.
Anyway, love em both. >3

...It really all depends. I'm hardcore into reading fanfiction, so as long as it's well written, I like both ^_^ I'm not much of a yaoi anime person... In all honestly, I don't like yaoi anime >_> -gets shot-

[ .Dee.Da.Dee. ] i dont like that hard-core yaoi sex... i like the sweet shounen-ai ..i love the ukes biggrin so cute! when they blush and stuff .. redface shounen-ai fan 4 sure smile ive gotten some hard core stuff and it waz good but it waz hard to keep it from my friends redface i don't like them useing my stuff....who knowz what they do behind closed doorz!!! stare eww neutral

If it's anime, it should be Shounen Ai-HINTS in a non-shounen ai anime... or a mix of shounen ai and YAOI (like Sensitive Pornograph <3)
Manga, fan fiction or fanart = Tottaly YAOI!

Sheltigrrl Shounen-ai. xD I mean, the occasional random SEX of yaoi is okay once in a while, but for something I'm gonna read constantly, it should have a lot of fluff and a lot of cute and a lot of funny. However, my favourites have both shounen-ai and yaoi. There's a reason I say BL more than the other terms. xD;;;

I like to find the happy medium in bewteen.
If it's too hardcore and graphic I can't find it sexy and if it's too cutsey then I get bored.
Also, though I would prefer the two guys to be having sex, I still think that SOME things should be left to the imagination. It's a yaoi manga, not a male anatomy diagram.

Damn, I'm like the only one on gaia that hasn't been exposed to yaoi. The only shounen-ai I've seen/read are Yami no Matsuei, Loveless, and Kyou Kara Maou. Sad, huh? So I can't really decide if I like Shounen-ai or yaoi better, can I? sweatdrop

Well let's say kissing, hugging, etc. is fine, but if there's going to be a sex scene it better be tasteful 3nodding . I'm not into the crude stuff. Overall, however, I enjoy BL at the lower end of the scale like 1-3 scored stuff. In other words implict content. My template for all sex scenes guys, girls, and guy & girl is Mars vol. 14. It's just my taste.
P.S. They should always be hot wink .
