[Drako Damone] (C) vs Luca Leone

[Mister Mirage]

If it was one thing Luca didn't need right now, it was a dude roughly twice her size landing on her. After Drako launches himself over the the top rope, the Lioness quickly rolled out of the way, stopping on her knees, just out of the splash zone.

Drako was anticipating an impact, but not the one he got. He hits only the mat, knocking the wind out of himself as he does and bouncing over onto his back  

[Mister Mirage]

Pulling herself to her feet, Luca fell back into the ropes, springing herself forward into a roll, attempting land on Drako with the Rolling Thunder!

 

[Drako Damone]

unfortunately, Drako's mistiming leaves him quite prone, and Luca takes advantage, crashing across him with a rolling thunder to ensure he still wouldn't breathe any easier

Pain coursed through Lioness' back once again after landing the move. Grabbing her opponents arm, Luca struggled back to her feet to go for a second attempt at her favorite move, the Muy Bien!

 

[Drako Damone]

Drako may be short of breath, but he's just aware enough to realize he has to avoid this move. Similarly to the last time, as Luca has his arm and turns to lock in the hold, he would attempt to pull her down into what would at first seem like a a school boy roll up, but once he gets her down, he would actually attempt to turn it into a Boston Crab submission hold

Taken by surprise, Luca was rolled up and shifted into position for a full Boston Crab lock. She cried out in pain as the hold put increasing strain on her back. The young Leone held hand out, readying for the tap, but reeled back as she buried her head with her arms.

 

[Drako Damone]

Drako looks to sit down into the hold a bit more, both to increase the pressure on the challenger and to give himself the chance to catch his breath after knocking it out of himself. Normally he'd yell for her to tap, but that would use up breath he couldn't afford  

[Mister Mirage]

Keeping up with the champ was taking it's on the Lioness, she was worn out from the high energy match. Luca slowly lifted her head up and gazed ahead at the ropes. Planting her forearms into the ring, she struggled to crawl towards the ropes, and outstretched her reach for the bottom rope.

 

[Drako Damone]

Drako makes the Lioness work for her escape, but eventually, she does reach the ropes, gaining another burst of cheers from the crowd as the match would continue. As the ref orders a break, Drako releases the hold and steps away, pushing his hair back from his face and leaning against the opposite ropes to take a few more moments to catch his breath  

[Mister Mirage]

Grasping at the ropes like a life line, Luca was relieved to hear the referee calls for the rope break. Holding her back for a moment, she used the ropes to pull herself back to her feet. Turning, the Lioness turns to see Drako across from her. Biting down on the side of her lip, she pushed herself off the ropes and a took a few steps towards the center of the ring.

Drako forces himself up, having caught enough air to continue on and looks to meet the challenger in the center of the ring as well  

[Mister Mirage]

As Drako walked towards her, Luca took a deep breath out, as if preparing herself for the final stretch match. As soon as the champion was in range, the Lioness would spring to life, throwing out heavy handed rights at her opponent!

 

[Drako Damone]

the first right clocks Drako and knocks his head to the side. Another follows and he takes a step back, but when a third follows Drako ducks and looks to get behind Luca, then launch her with a dragon suplex, which he'd hold into a pin attempt  

[Mister Mirage]

Draco gives Luca the slip, this time to lifting her up for the Dragon Suplex and planted her shoulders against the canvas for the pin.

Luca suddenly threw her weight to shift her shoulder off the mat for a moment to stop the count, then did it once more to try and break out of the position.
