"Arthur wait!", gwen grabbed his arm,"I'll help take care of you for now.... there are many healers among my women they can spare one", she told him; She stopped when she looked about at all the dead bodies a few soldiers were laying on there backs dying at the moment as she seen what he meant; Finally letting go she knelt down to check a solider starting to remove the armor pieces from him,"Help me...", she seen the wound a stab to the gut it looked rather fatal,"I will try..", she told him quietly; It would be several minutes before anyone arrived she whistled in the trees and had one of her scouts come over,"Grab any of our fastest go and grab yarrow it will be all about snatch up the flowers and make your way back to me gather any that can walk and have them set up dont touch any that are near dead it may be to much for them", after explaining herself she sat there holding his hand while the man slipped in and out of consciousness before yarrow was brought to her she chewed it up putting the pulp on the bleeding and stripping cloth from her own skirt to wrap it up,"Gentle... take rest but do not rest to hard or we may not see you yet...", she told him getting up she seen her people starting to gather about categorize the wounded calling when they found one near death there was a sound of wagons coming and that meant more people to heal... it would be a long day...
By nightfall they had gathered all there dead and everyone would take then back clean them and sit vigil depsite there being 500 soliders it was a swift victory... and they only about 20-30 men thought it was a great loss to those who died; THe rest were piled and Gwen made sure the bodies were burned; She had to leave as soon after it was commensed commanding people to make sure the fire didnt spread; Her heart led her back to her people for the next morning of mourning and finally the 3rd day after the battle she returned to the manor to discuss with arthur what was the next step of action; Today she did not take an escort allow everyone proper grieving; She entered the buiding asking for arthur and then went to check on him,"How is your arm pendragon?", she asked a she sat down looking tired as much as he was;

Gwen watched as he moved back his tunic to reveal the tiny scar she would have thought it would have left something much larger; Taking a moment to breathe out a soft sigh of relief she sat back down its seemed she had been holding her breathe for nothing,"That is good at least", she finally remarked there was a worried look in her eyes,"We have one this battle but not the war they are going to send more troops... this war is going to last awhile until you can take back control of Brittania... and that is alot..", she assured him,"The barons of this land the ones under this southern king are stretched across we need to find more allies... or we will not survive the next wave..", she told him;

Gwen looked at the map with intense concentration," I see.. so that is what the intel informed?", she began to looked about,"There are more villages like myself in the woods along this platform here..", she told him,"Maybe we can get them to join us if I speak with them", she suggested,"It will be up to them whether they wish to join and start living a normal life again", she told him; Looking up she managed a small smile,"Thats nice... I am sure they will be happy", she didnt push the conversation any further avoiding his gaze for a moment,"When do we plan to move? if we send a small troop over there we can perhaps persuade them to join...?", she said,"I would say they have already reached there king we dont have much longer perhaps a month", she explained to him,"We will have to move out quickly..", she glanced up at him seeing what his answer would be.

Nodded,"I am sure I can persuade them if... they know how I have felt then knowing you will help them should be enough", she told him smiling puzzled she watched him get up stretch as he suggested they walk; Looking around she nodded slowly and followed she was slightly nervous.. last time this ended up in her doing something she liked... but; She kept a passive face as they walked they ended up on the hill making small talk along there way about the village; she looked up across a land that was finally her peoples once again though it was shared it didnt matter... at least they could finally be one without war this time; she took a moment to breathe in the fresh air as he began to speak about how long it would be to bring peace to this land she had to agree nodding slowly; Her eyes shot open as she heard her language spoke to her, but more important the words he asked she turned to him shocked lips parted in abit of awe,"You.. How?", she looked up into his blue eyes and her own grey seemed veiled over with desire for a moment before she regain her sense,"Yes..", she smiled at him turning slightly away as she began to blush,"I think thats a good idea...", she remarked quietly;

Gwen squeezed her eyes shut as she felt him getting closer wondering if he was going to kiss her.. she lifted her face upwards only for him to give a kiss on the cheek puzzled and abit dazed she turned to watch him playfully jolt her before offering his hand as she was asked to walk back with him,"Of course";

It was the next morning she took a small entourage 2 two childhood friends and a few more the older ones were left in charge to watch after her own people she left explicit instructions to remain peaceful and if there was any sort of attack while they were away to gather everyone and hide them in the nearby caves until they could return; They were also informed to begin singular constructions per household and also get in harvest for the early year before it was to late; Many of them were young when they went into the woods so the towns people helped teach them how to farm for it had been several decades since they got to farm any land;

Gwen and her troop showed up before the manor and waited outside,"Are we going to ride horse?", one asked looked about,"I'm not sure but we can't go on foot", she told them,"Do not fear I am sure you will catch on quickly and I will do the same", she told them;

Gwen watch curiously as she was gifted her own banner she smiled with pride as she unfurled the banner to gaze at the symbols,'Thank you for such a symbolic and precious gift", she told arthur, before she was helped onto her horse they were all taught how to ride a horse which was supriselying easy and once they had about a few minutes to be instructed they did a little test gallop and after that they all galloped out of there she had gavin hold the banner of her troop as she road next to arthur her eyes were wide with excitement this was the first time she had gotten to leave the ebbings woods and explore Britannia in her whole life!

Gwen watched as they approached the town the smell of burning wood the sound of screams and bleating live stock caused them to advance forward; When she seen that the bandits were all about town she jumped from her horses following after arthur terrified at the approached of a what appeared to be a heathen with a spear approaching them the towns people screamed and ran away and the bandits looked up in surprise using her staff she bashed in the head of the closest one while her friends came in they were over ran by the small troop that gathered in minutes,"Go through the town and kill any who harm", she informed her people as they ran racing into the town she just hoped they wouldn't get attacked by the guards and if they did then they would be dead soon either way; She turned running up to the closest building she called inside to see if anyone was inside hearing nothing she went onto the next, she eventually came to a shed and heard the crys of a baby, making her way across the scorched earth she broke into the shed to not only find the baby but 3 more small children huddled there to scared to do anything,"Its okay...", said gwen setting her staff down,"Nothing bad is going to happen..", she soothed them she must look terrifying to them she thought with her war paint barely clothed... she wans't sure what these children were told about her people but she assumed it wasn't good because when she reached forward they began to cry profusely and the eldest smacked her hand; she looked around laying on the ground was there mother dead a knife mark to the throat. She turned back to them,"I can speak your language you have to trust me please", she held out her arms and reluctantly they gave her the baby as they followed after her she tied her staff to her back and raced them out of harms way, people were running in chaos,"All those alive and wishing shelter follow me!!", she shouted above the chaos many seen her with the children and raced forward they weren't sure what she was doing or how she could talk to them but they were to scared to ask questions and they followed; Gwen made her way out of the town to open field her friends were coming out of the town there were some with children some with wounded parents and some with elderly,"Where is arthur?";
