Sunny had also helped with setting up the bird feeders and fruit, and he mostly just hoped to be able to touch one of them! Though he had to make sure not to startle it, after all, he didn't want any of his new feathery acquaintances to fly away! After all of that though he was going to help with cleaning the green spaces and cleaning the feeders and other areas because well, somepony had to do it! He hummed as he trotted along, making sure everything that he did was correct, before going over to where Aviary was.

"Aviary! Happy Feather Day!" He said, before going over to her and giving her a small kiss on the cheek, having to stand up as he did so. "I'm happy to help with anything else you may need!" And he was. He didn't mind having to clean up any messes. He often helped clean up the pillows in the House too. And doing whatever else he could to be of some service. He didn't really have a job in the herd, but he wanted to do whatever possible to help!





Clear Night yawned as he stepped out of the House. At first he wondered why all of the bird stuff was here, but then his brain finally caught up and he realized that it was Feather Day. Should be interesting at least. He said before taking a few more steps and looking around. A lot of other ponies seemed to have gathered and were getting their own little birdie friends. He didn't care too much about getting one, but he was happy to help with the day anyway, even if his face didn't show it.

He trotted up to his parents, one more yawn coming out of his mouth as he used a hoof to cover it, and when he finally got over to them, greeted them as well as he could. "Happy Feather Day Mom and Dad." He said, still sounding as sleepy as he did. It had only been a minute since he had stepped outside, and three since he had woken up. He turned to Aviary. "Anything I can do to help mom?" He wasn't really sure what to do, other than to partake in the table of goodies that was out. Though he would have really appreciated a salad too. For a moment he thought about going back into the House and making one, but knew he should stay outside. He looked over and saw his father grinning, a common occurrence, and realized that they had both probably just asked the same question.

"come out littel feathery friends i wont hurt you" the little shark girl called out, however the lack of flocking birds near her at the time discuraged her, she did have sharp fangs and teeth afterall even if she was vegetarian. she poked at her teeth and sighed softly deciding to roll over and bask in the shade so she would not dehydrate to quickly, she found quickly that she began to doze off onside since her shell would not be quite a comfterble bed.

Snaps wasn't too sure why he had walked in here, truthfully he knew but he wasn't sure it was a good idea, it was interesting at least. There was a lot of birds and they were rather beautiful and perhaps a bit loud. He glanced around wide eye and a bit lost of what to do.

Eventuly evening found her self getting soemthing to drink though she was under the shade for quite some time the lingering summer heat sill didnt help her hydragion, after this she found the nearest pool of water and submurged herself relaxing in the water while she happily watched everyone go on about there time and enjoy the community day, she smilled and basked in the water still addmiring the birds out of her reach,

Sunny nodded his head at her. And he smiled widely at the return kiss. "Sounds like a plan!" He said, before giving her a quick hug and heading off and wandering around to see who still needed help in getting their own feathered friend! After wandering around the property a bit, he noticed some movement in a pool of water nearby, and went to see what it was. What he did not expect was to find a pony in it! It wasn't a bad thing though, everyone was welcome here as long as they didn't destroy or hurt anything.

When he finally got close enough he waved to the pony, a warm smile on his face. "Hello! Do you need any help?" He wanted to make sure that every pony who came here was satisfied, even if they didn't leave with a bird of their own. "I can try to help you get a bird of your own if you want! Or if you aren't interested in those, but are interested in the other parts of Feather Day, there's a lot more to do and I can show you around!" He wanted to be a good host after all!




Clear Night hugged his mother back. He wanted to relax on this day, but he was a part of the herd and it was his mother's Herd's event... he felt as though he had to do something to help. But before he could say anything, his father was off once again and Clear could only shake his head at the boundless energy the yellow and blue pony had. Clear wasn't nearly as excitable as his father. In fact, he probably took after his mother of his two parents, but it didn't mean he didn't love his energetic father. It just meant that he had a hard time keeping up with him.

He turned back to Aviary and gave her a small smile. "I'll follow your suggestion Mom, though you might see me at the goodie table too." He replied, giving her a wink before trotting off, seeing who he could help. Or if the table would distract him too much.

tab Shadra made her way passed the snack table, a ghoulie on a mission. Bright eyes scanned her surroundings while one paw kept her hat atop her head as she looked to and fro.

tab Grimlock took advantage of his Shadra's intense focus. Her steps were just slow enough that her tail had realized there was food nearby. He hadn't been entirely thrilled that his Shadra had wanted to come out while he wanted to sleep, but he liked the idea much better now. His jaws opened slowly, ready to strike at the next delicacy that passed him by when they stopped. Oh glorious Four, they stopped.

tab He'd cleaned three plates of their goodies before his Shadra had noticed.

Stellar Radiance had heard something was happening and, naturally, she was curious to find out what exactly it was. She'd enjoyed the last fete she'd attended, after all.
