"When I was her age, I was already in the full swing of training, but that was just my family's tradition," Kagerou revealed as she stood up, and that was all she intended to contribute to that conversation.
Then Tsuki asked what she was really here for, calling Kagerou out for not being the kind to small talk. That sort of immediately drew out a clueless, "Huh?" reaction from the early 20-something year old. She smiled blankly at Tsuki for a good two seconds before her face and voice lit up with an, "Aha!" as she figured it out, cue complementary hitting of fist into palm. Small talk was great. In fact, it was because of random small talk with a store owner that Kagerou even knew that Tsuki had come to Arashigakure with the rest of the oto nin. Kagerou didn't know what Tsuki was talking about. That is, until she remembered that when she met Tsuki, and the other medics she'd befriended on her travels, she'd wanted to make the most out of her time with each and every one of them. "I sort of did avoid small talk back then, huh?" Kagerou thought aloud for herself and Tsuki, "Eheheh, actually, right now, small talk is actually all I'm here for. I'm sorry, did I bother you when you were in the middle of something?". Kagerou had tried, sort of, to gauge if Tsuki was busy or not as she approached. It looked like she could have judged wrong, though.

Taking a knee she embraced her daughter before giving her a light kiss on the forehead,"Go play with your friends from school but I want you home before dinner understood. I'm making grilled steak and shrimp tonight." Once her daughter hopped off she let out a sigh and rose to her feet she continued,"I dont want her to have to kill someone or to know what it feels like to fight for your life. I want her to have a better life then mine." Waving her hand she dismissed the worry of bothering her,"No but now that I think about it, I could use a workout. It has been hard to find time to train being a mom. There are quite a few books I would like to check out and study. Your welcome to join me should you like?"
Man, Kagerou really meant what she had said before to be the last of it, but Tsuki just kept on bringing up points she wanted to respond to. "No, I totally understand," Kagerou agreed as she fondly watched Tsuki bid farewell to her daughter, "Like I said, what my family did is just what they've done for generations. Killing people... Knowing that I am standing on the side that makes people fight for their lives... Controlling, restraining, and dulling my emotions so that I can fulfill my duty... I never want to do any of that, nor do I want to see anyone have to do that either..." Where was she going with this thought again? Kagerou, as a consequence of winging it, had sort of lost her point. Oh well. "But anyways, you're a great mother for caring for your daughter so much, Tsuki. Just remember you need to be careful, too. Though, I don't think I need to remind you about something you know much better than me."
A short pause. A break in what Kagerou said to separate this topic from the next.
"So anyways, about those books, I certainly wouldn't mind. It'd be just like old times, right? So what do you plan on checking out?".

Tsuki and Kagerou had split after they'd walked to the academy library together, Tsuki to browse one section and Kagerou to browse another. Kagerou was walking by an outer wall when she heard the heavy but muted chirping of birds and then, soon after, witnessed a hand-spear of lightning pierce straight through the wall several feet to her left, conveniently right below a window. "Oh," she exclaimed rather calmly and walked to the hand. She looked at the hand and then at the face on the other side of the window above the hand. Behind said face, she could see some brown-haired girl with goggles bowing apologetically before excusing herself in a rush. In that moment, Kagerou guessed that there was some sort of spar, and the other party had just left the party currently stuck in the wall for some other business. Now, she had little way of knowing if this was right, so she winged it. Kagerou firmly grabbed the hand that came through the wall and gave it a confident shake while her other hand opened the window so she could greet, "Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Kagerou."

Feeling a grip on his hand and a voice through the wall, Shōsan would return the greeting. "Uh... hey! This is a bit awkward. I'm Shōsan. Shōsan Uzumaki. Nice to - hold on," he'd say as he quickly flickered into thin air and appeared on the other side of the wall where Kagerou stood and grabbed her hand once more. "Nice to meet you! I was taught that it was never good to meet someone without seeing their face.. and a pretty one you have!" Shōsan would say, grinning. "You don't mind if I call you Ru, do you?" He'd look at Kagerou and chuckle.

"By all means," Kagerou replied happily, not at all perturbed by the sudden shunshin, "Quite the meeting we've had, and it looks like the person you were just sparring with has left." Her hand released his before the handshake lasted for too long and she gave him a brief look. He didn't look too tired, so he'd likely just began training, and he didn't look that old, either. Now, Kagerou knew enough younger high rankers to know that age wasn't the end all, be all when it came to skill, but she found it a decent indicator, nonetheless. She felt fairly confident that the person in front of her wouldn't be so much stronger than her that he'd be held back if he worked with her. "I'm not much for sparring, myself, but I'm about to check out some of the ninjutsu in the library. Would you like to study together since you were suddenly left alone?".

"Yeah, she just moved out of the way. My Chidori isn't perfect yet.." he'd look down at his hand and move it circularly a few times. "Anyways, since you were heading to the library, we may as well go. I've got nothing else better to do. Hell, I'll learn a few ninjutsu that I could eventually practice to perfect it. Let's go. Ru!" he'd grab Kagerou's arm lightly mindlessly and walk towards the library while holding on to her forearm while having a determined smile on his face.

With a smile, Kagerou went with the flow, forceful and energetic as this flow might have been. She had a few things she could suggest to the shinobi just meant, but that was exactly it. She had only just met him, so because she knew nothing about him, she asked questions instead.
Once Shosan and Kagerou reached the library, Kagerou would gently slip herself out of the other's grasp and step forwards into the unfamiliar room. She gave the space a quick, sweeping glance that culminated in a satisfactory nod. This place was also organized with the universal library system. "If I'm not wrong, you used Chidori just then, which is a fairly advanced raiton technique," Kagerou noted as she walked up to one of the shelves, pulled out a book, and flipped through its pages, "Are you going to focus on studying that here, or was there something else?". She didn't just stop at one book, but went down the line of shelves, happily pulling out books at seemingly random and skimming through them. No element was left untouched in her search. Though, she took a small but noticeably larger amount of time looking through the fuuton and katon books. Of course, each book pulled out was properly returned to its rightful location before Kagerou returned to stand in front of Shosan.

"Well, I will focus on studying the Chidori and it's advanced techniques.. but I also want to study some Fuuton jutsu as well," Shōsan would say as he wandering away from Kagerou deeper into library for a book on advanced Raiton techniques and basic, as well as advanced, Fuuton techniques. Shōsan would love to be ahead once figuring out the basics, as he was a very quick learner. "You're really a bookworm, aren't ya?" he'd say as he made his way towards Kagerou before standing by her with two books on the two elements he had mentioned before. "I guess I can relate. I love learning. Speaking of which, why don't we find a place to sit down? I just got through cleaning graffiti off of the Landslide Abodes, haha." Shōsan would say before opening the book of the Advanced Raiton techniques and carefully reading the pages, one by one.

"Mnn," Kagerou hummed in response, her voice lilting into some sort of semblance of a little tune. When Shosan suggested finding a seat, she told him to, "Go on ahead first. I'll find you later. Let me just...," before her voice trailed off as she concentrated on the book of universal techniques she had open in front of her. This one she seemed to be actually reading, though it was all stuff she'd studied before. She just needed a quick reminder on how to do these techniques since they'd gotten rusty from lack of use. Man, she had to admit that there was a lot she needed to review. Though, that was a good thing in its own way. It meant that she'd been living peacefully. Kagerou reached for another book and started reviewing the materials in that one as well when she stopped herself. Returning the maruton book to its proper place, she was clever enough to get by with simply reading the techniques to review them, Kagerou picked out the genjutsu book she had just begun reading and a book on katon techniques to take with her. Then, as she said she would, she sat at one of the many library desks with her new friend.

• Suzu no Oto [ Sound of Bells ] Rank: D, X Official Description: Suzu no Oto is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by Sound kunoichi Kin. Kin will hurl senbon which have bells attached with string. This string will also run from the senbon itself to her hand. After she hurls the senbon at her opponent, the dangling bells can be moved by Kin to emit a ring at a special frequency. This frequency reaches directly into her opponent’s brain and shows them the desired illusions. Unfortunately simple ear plugging will not prevent the illusions. One way this can be utilized is to confuse her opponent. By making her opponent see multiple copies of herself, she can confuse them as to her actual location. This is especially deadly when senbon or kunai are thrown, making it difficult to tell which weapon to avoid. Guild Description: See official description. Requires at minimum 1 bell. 3 bells fashioned in a triangle around the user will nullify their visual impact, while 4 fashioned in a square/diamond will be able to make entire groups vanish. • Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu [ Crow Clone Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: Karasu Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique used by Uchiha Itachi. This technique allows Itachi to create a clone composed of crows. The Itachi clone can disperse into multiple crows, which still maintain his consciousness. • Sanzengarasu no Jutsu [ Scattering One Thousand Crows Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: The user will call upon a murder of crows, these crows will fly around the target, causing confusion with their dark forms and quick movement. A comrade can move within the flock wearing dark clothes and wielding a dark weapon almost undetected. With the target distracted by the crows, the Shinobi can strike more easily. Also the mass of crows can obscure any retreating Shinobi . When no longer needed, the murder of crows will simply puff away in smoke. Guild Description: See official description.
• Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Shadow Clone Technique ] Rank: B Official Description: This technique creates a solid clone of the user, unlike the empty ones formed from the traditional Bunshin no Jutsu. The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two decent blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created to appear in the same condition as the original did when he/she performed the technique itself. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original even by the Byakugan- because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance. Guild Description: Creates a solid clone which is able to interact with the environment, and perform any technique that the user knows. The strength of each clone is dependent on the actual number of clones formed. If two clones are made, they each possess one half (1/2) the strength of the original, four clones- one forth (1/4), etc. For simplicity reasons, rather than having to split the chakra pool evenly amongst user and clones, whenever a technique is performed by a clone, the allotted chakra cost is taken from the original, overall pool. ( If the original has 100 available chakra, and a clone performs a technique that costs 10, the available amount of chakra becomes 90. ) Shadow clones cannot be told apart by doujutsu. When a clone is dispersed, any knowledge it gained while active is transferred to the original only, no other clones. Clones can only be sent as far away as the immediate area, defined as the sub-forum in which the user currently resides.
• Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Multiple Shadow Clone Technique ] Rank: Augment [learned as A] Official Description: This jutsu is essentially a massive version of the Shadow Clone Technique. Instead of a few clones, it creates a few hundred. This is considered a forbidden jutsu, because it can potentially be dangerous to the person performing it, seeing as how all of the clones are given an equal amount of chakra directly from the user. Naruto learned the technique from the scroll of forbidden seals written by the First Hokage. Few people are able to use this technique effectively, due to the large amount of chakra it consumes. However, this weakness is not an issue to Naruto, due to his massive chakra reserves. Having such reserves allows him to create hundreds of clones while maintaining a decent supply of chakra in each one. This technique is also used by Naruto to train quickly, since all the clones share their experiences with Naruto, but it causes extreme fatigue with repeated use. Some times in the anime or manga, Naruto does not appear to distinguish between the Multiple and regular variations of the technique, and often simply says "Shadow Clone Technique" regardless of how many clones he uses. Guild Description: Requires knowing Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique]. This is an upgrade of Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and takes the same slot as the B-rank version once learned. Either version can be used for the appropriate version's cost. Unlike the normal Kage Bunshin, the user's chakra and stamina is divided equally among every clone, including the original. This technique start off at a minimum of one hundred [100] clones produced, and they can be produced until each has only one [1] chakra/stamina. The user must retain at least [1] of each pool or they will lose consciousness. Shadow clones cannot be told apart by doujutsu. The clone disperses if it receives a solid hit (C-rank or higher), or runs out of chakra or stamina. When a clone is dispersed, any knowledge it gained while active is transferred to the original only, no other clones, and any remaining chakra and stamina is returned to the user. Shadow clones may not leave the immediate area [same thread] that the user is in. • Chishiki Raijo no Jutsu [ Knowledge Removal Technique ] Rank: B, X Official Description: This just can be used on anybody so long as contact to the head is made, in which once it is done, it wipes knowledge selected by the user from the targets memory. Shōsan would read through his Raiton technique book, which was one of the two technique books he had. He glanced up a few times to see if Kagerou had continued reading as she had done before while she wandered. ("You've GOT to be kidding me. She's STILL reading?") Shōsan thought to himself before continuing reading his technique book. He came across the jutsu he had been attempting to master, being Chidori [ Thousand Birds ], and took mental notes in his head and paid more heed to the details on its functions and whatnot. That being done, Shōsan would eventually close the book after re-reading over the technique numerous times and close his book. Shōsan would look at Kagerou as she approached for a few moments. "Hey, Ru," he'd say. "Did you enjoy your time at the Book Fair?" he'd chuckle as he asked the question, opening his book on Fuuton techniques.
As he listened to his for the response of his friend, he'd also read through this particular technique book with precision, as he could utilize Fuuton jutsu, but he knew absolutely zero. He'd focus on techniques such as Tandokuhikou [ Solo Flight ], Ranmyaku Setsu [ Chaos Theory ] and one very special and seemingly caught his eye - the Rasengan [ Spiral Sphere ]. This technique he studied in depth. Oddly enough, he realized it wasn't a Fuuton technique, but a regular A-Ranked Maruton jutsu with Fuuton variants. "Interesting.." he'd whisper under his breath.

__ Kenshin, the police captain, stormed into the academy after a short walk from the Spire. Upon entry, he quickly found Tsukina and approached her. "Pardon me. The Arashikages needs your help with a big mission." He spoke sternly before going on to try to explain the mission in a low volume voice. "We received reports that revealed the eight tailed demon's location. Lord Jay wants to assemble a task force to find it, engage it and split its power to seal half of it in Lord Jay and the other half in Lady Jeon. Using some sort of fuuinjutsu trick...I think." Kenshin thought harder about the sealing strategy but was only confusing himself further. "Obviously, fuuinjutsu is not my specialty." He provided this information to secure that she would not ask him further questions about the sealing formulas as he had several questions of his own. "This is an incredibly dangerous mission so we need the best combatants we can muster. Are you in?" He asked out of respect for Tsukina's status when he would normally just give orders on the Kage's decree. The Konin could only hope that she would join them.

"One does not simply..." Kagerou was well on her way to making a joke as she sat in the seat opposite of Shosan when she suddenly stopped talking. She frowned lightly as she tried to think of her next words before smiling again as she shrugged. "Well, I thought I was onto something, but I can't actually think of how to continue that joke."
Kagerou flipped through the genjutsu book and looked at the variety of illusions, enchantments, and instances. Gah, there were so many. Even just counting all the ones she'd learned before and simply forgotten she had neglected to practice them... Kagerou's studies skipped her through the pages in an, admittedly, disorganized and inefficient pattern, but she did manage to spark her memories enough for a few techniques. Kagerou was eyeing a nice little melody-type Genjutsu when she noticed the light shining upon her desk, or rather, the lack thereof. No, not the room's lights. The artificial lighting was working just fine. She meant the light shining in from outside wasn't shining on the desk she sat at anymore when it had been when she first sat down. Remembering a prior appointment, Kagerou looked up and at the clock on the wall. Ah. Oh dear. She was late. Kagerou quickly mumbled her way through the rest of her current technique just to finish what she had started. Once she reached the stopping point she desired, Kagerou closed her book closed with a decisive but not very starting, "pat," and stood up without delay. She excused herself gratefully, "Thank you for the company, Shosan. It was nice to have a reading partner. I have to go now, so I'll see you around," and then she was gone. Like, normal gone. She collected her books, dropped them in the "to sort" bin, and walked out like a normal person.

There Toso coming out of the ground like some form of creepy creeper he would see Kagerou, or rather, a girl with green hair fitting the description the twins had provided him. However, she was walking away from him rather than towards. It seemed she had concluded her business at the academy. Rather than pursue he decided now would be a better time than ever to begin readying himself for what was to come. With this notion he'd unravel the scroll provided by the twins and gather other reading materials while brushing up, quite literally, on his sealing arts. Had he not been given the scroll the intricacies of the seal when being considered being put into practice..were extensive. Still he could not let this get the best of him. He'd seek out further reading materials. The intricacies of the chopstick style of combat. In addition an abridged version of the Ja no Muchi style. Both were styles he'd yet to truly refine. Then there was the scrivinings of Kanboku. Although he'd mastered it for the most part there was still more to learn. Ja no muchi. Thats were he was most behind. With that Toso would proceed with a refresher course on Hashi no Heisei. He had taken this style due to quite simply how unconventional it was. It partnered well with his desire to cook and it simply made sense for chef nin to have it in his arsenal. Maybe perhaps, he was starting to get accustom to multiple forms of artistry, drawing, painting, food, and soon as he closed the book, perhaps song. With the refresher course complete Toso felt his body was more readily prepared for the future. Thusly with that much being said he'd sink into the ground to seek out Kagerou. Seeing Kagerou leave, Shōsan would wave to her until she walked out of sight. He'd then get up out of the library and proceed to one of the Academy rooms to start practicing jutsu he'd just read about. "Time to get started," Shōsan said.
Shōsan would put a single hand seal up as two clones would appear. One would stand off to the side, out of the area of combat and would sit down, resting against a wall. The other clone would go a distance in front of Shōsan to begin training. "Before we start, let me practice something really fast." Shōsan would begin focusing his chakra towards the bottom of his feet as he began to float a few slight feet off the ground. "Whoa," he'd say in awe. He'd simply move the way he wanted to in order to move around; no confusing mechanics to using this jutsu. He flew up to the ceiling and around the room as his clones clapped for him. "Nice job, bro!" they would say in unison as Shōsan would thank them. He'd fly freely around the room for a bit before landing where he originally started. "Alright, now that I've sort of got the hang of that, we can get started," he'd say while beginning to weave hand seals.
Jutsu learned: Tandokuhikou [ Solo Flight ]
Finishing weaving the hand seals, Shōsan would exhale a small amount of wind from his mouth. The wind would move straight towards the clone he had been fighting and would seemingly grow with time. With this, the clone began weaving hand signs and would immediately release a ferocious blaze of fire that increased in temperature the longer it was used towards the new jutsu Shōsan had performed. "Katon: Karyuu Endan [Fire Style: Dragon Flame Projectile]!" Shōsan would hop into the air, weaving hand seals very quickly, and would release a three-headed Hydra-shaped blaze from his mouth. "Katon: Hidora no Jutsu Hidora no Jutsu [ Hydra Technique ]!". This would cancel out his doppelganger's jutsu. His doppelganger would notice Shōsan performing more hand seals, but moreover, he saw the tornado coming towards him getting larger and moving quickly towards him. His clone would glance at Shōsan due to hearing the sounds of thousands of chirping birds and notice lightning engulfing his entire hand. "Wanna see my new jutsu? I've been putting a lot of work into this," he'd say with a glint in his eyes. His clone attempt to jump in the air away from both Shōsan and the tornado, but as soon as he was airborne, he was dragged towards the tornado irresistibly. "Grkk!" his clone uttered. Shōsan let the tornado drag him inside along with his clone to gain speed and power when he wanted to strike him with his Chidori. "Now, the REAL deal," he'd say as he arched his right hand backwards. "CHIDORI!" Shōsan shouted the words as he almost instantly reached his doppelganger caught inside, as he struck through it's chest. The tornado created by Shōsan was coated with lightning as his doppelganger was struck and disersed with smoke. With this, the tornado and Shōsan's Chidori went with it. "Ugh," he said begrudgingly, looking towards his other clone. "Let me take a five and then we can start, alright?" He'd lay on the floor and close his eyes, resting before eventually falling to slumber. Some things never change.
