He found his way to the place easy enough. As the three stooges turned to leave the Raiken would deliver a trio of quick blows to the back of their skulls- putting them down for the count for the foreseeable future. Karuto would take his time searching the dilapidated house. While the first floor held very little, the second floor bore more clues to the true nature of this business. While he wasn't the most educated man in the world, the signs were clear- this whole scheme had to be brought down. The idea of the past atrocities that were committed here, and the fact that the three goons before had previously been looking for a child to be brought her incited the man's rage in a way rarely seen. That anger found a target in the voices on the third floor. There was no more subtly, no more lying, no more of 'this'.
Karuto trudged up the stairs and broke the damn door in two with one powerful kick. He didn't give a damn if the building fell, it would take more than that to hurt him. He didn't hesitate when confronted by the confusing scene on the third floor, instead, he acted. With an angry roar, Karuto moved, grabbing the person who was still seated and driving her head through the poker table. Probably not fatal, but definitely not something you could shake off. Afterwords he immediately moved onto the other two. With one swing of his forearm he knocked the second female aside, sending her tumbling against the wall. Before the male could recover, Karuto's hands shot out and gripped his head like a vice.
He began to squeeze- exerting a significant amount of his strength onto the man's skull. His gaze darted between him and the woman who had been accosting him, making sure to keep his senses open in case the third regained consciousness. "Where is Dai?!" He roared "First person to tell me, lives" As it to emphasize this point, Karuto reared back and slammed the man back up against the wall- hard. He didn't want there to be any doubt that, not only could he kill them all, but that he would if pressed.

Despite the threats of death. Facts of the matter stood. Those facts becoming apparent as the masked woman simply uttered a tch while the man who had his windpipe held grabbed Karuto's hand to lessen the burden of it but definitely lacking in strength he could only ease so much. "No..body ********.. knows you fuc..kin nut." her head still down on the poker table the masked woman struggling to speak. Yet she sounded serious despite being pressured with having her skull caved in. "I don't know what your angle is but we can't tell you what we don't know. We're just photographers who've already lost their faith in humanity."
The earlier girl had regained her consciousness but she just looked down at her knees in the shadow and spoke softly. "You want Dai do you muscleman? Then whoever brought you here already told you. You won't find him here, are you dense?" She stood up groggily holding her forehead. "Chisa you b***h. You can't just walk away.""I didn't sign up to get walloped by a steroid junkie.""Dai won't let you off so easy.""Dai can suck my taint, like I give two shits if I'm on the cover of a porno mag. {From Dojo to Street } For whatever reason neither Mako or Sheva did not follow. Unki could not write it off as anything else than the Student's desire to continue to prepare themselves for their promotion and the Genin's choice to, perhaps, go through the trial of making friends. Still, the invitation to follow Unki on her endeavors (to make it more than her own) was just as open as she initially made it so.
What Unki was to do now was slightly beyond her at the moment. She wouldn't admit to feeling slightly empty again. She hadn't seen Shion. Where was Shion? Mr. Truffles was probably back at the restaurant still, he could use rest after the fiasco he woke up to. There was something she could do, actually, and frankly being side-tracked by a weird announcement from "the sky".
Not really "the sky" but if Unki had known better that someone had installed a public address system then it wouldn't have caught her off guard. The voice which reverberates through the sky was colorless and became more familiar by the second. This announcement essentially caught Unki up on at least half of the going-ons in the village and promptly warned her to "retain a level head" and "find some stable ground". All Unki did, really, was inch herself to the ground, lay there, and shut her eyes. This wasn't the best experience to go through. It was like the force of the world was weighing down on her, even if that statement was exaggerated, Unki did not enjoy the unknown crashing its weight on her. Gravity? Some other form of force, maybe? Unki wasn't a scientist. It was a safe bet to feel uneasy after the ordeal was over and she flipped herself over and began a crawl to the academy to fulfill an endeavor to get her mind off of things. A change of subject.

__Maric reeled back in surprise that the man had been able to catch him. Clearly these villains were a cut above the rest. Now the only question was just how long could he stifle his pride? It took a great deal of effort to suppress his anger at being treated like a mutt already. Goddess help me. Dropping low on his haunches dog-Maric let out threatening growls everytime the man spoke baby talk to him, and only when he reached out with meat bought from the store did he edge close enough to knock it out of his hand and eat off the ground. Had he been in human form his cheek would have turned bright red from the injustice but thankfully his fur should disguise any discolorations. (Do dogs blush?) Kao Utsushi no Jutsu [ Face Copy Technique ] Rank: E 2/20 Official Description: Kao Utsushi no Jutsu is secret technique unique to the Kedouin clan. This technique allows the clan member to take on the body of their target. The clan member must remain close to the one they want to copy for a short period of time. Their body will then shape and contort to resemble the target. The copy is said to be so good that even family members of the target cannot tell they are a fake. The clan member will even take on the smell of the original. Unfortunately the clan member does not copy the target’s Jutsu, leaving them with only their original limited skills. The clan members are skilled however, in taking on the mannerisms of the original and playing up the character traits of their target. The clan member must also provide clothing to match the original. Their appearance will eventually change back to their original form after several days. Guild Description: See official description. Rank of the technique is determined by the rank of the person being copied, with non-shinobi characters being considered E-rank. He was going to remain calm. He was going to handle this. It was all gonna work out.
And then he got kicked in the balls.
Karuto's vision flashed red and the next couple of seconds blurred into obscurity. One second he was holding the man by the neck and the next second he was coated in an Aura of Lightning and standing in the ruined remains of the building. The man he had been holding had, apparently, been thrown into the ground with such force it collapsed the entire building. The girl who had been heading down the stairs was also likely dead although he didn't care to check. No, the only sign of life came from the third, calmer, woman who had been partially sheltered by diving underneath the poker table.
Pushing debris aside, Karuto flipped the table as if it were made of paper and pinned the girl to the ground by placing his knee on her chest, leaning down and putting a significant amount of weight on her bruised body "Five seconds. Give me a reason to keep you alive"
He held up five fingers and started counting down.

One man was most certainly dead, the other most certainly mia, and the other behind her mask looked Karuto straight in the eyes as hers narrowed. "Give me a reason to live." She turned her head not giving two damns about the man's fingers. As far as she was concerned it was just like a brute to murder and strongarm when things weren't going his way. Any salvageable sign of intelligence she believed he may have had was out the window. If he was going to end her he might as well do it. He already did it, one person, maybe even two, why not another. The people who choose these types of professions are usually lumped into one of three categories, 1. They were just awful people. 2. They were being forced into it. With finally 3. Which in the case of the woman Karuto was threatening was they had nothing to lose. Karuto was told this was a waste of time beforehand, what did he want to to hear, the place of operation was now in ruin. Nothing else would occur at this location and the man running it was likely going to be fuming if/whenever he was found. Still the words of the woman would bite at the man. Even if he killed her unless this Daiman was found he'd just establish some other 'place' of business and find some other 'schmucks' willing to do it. Unless Karuto would prolong this endeavor he'd likely be able to end it here and be accredited for his effort in some way but also leave knowing no more than he did before. Nothing, and more or less that is what all the individuals in this building had displayed to know, was nothing. Not all stories are successes, not all situations lead to answers, that was the reality. There are many ways to go about things but someways will prove fruitless regardless of how hard one tries. The woman patiently waited for her chest to cave in closing her eyes and consigning herself to her obvious fate of dying to the foot of a meathead.
He scoffed at her rebuttal. She was calling his bluff it seemed, and luckily for her, it would pay off. He couldn't afford to launch a lengthy investigation or get further involved, lest he blow his own cover. However, he could turn this over to the locals to work on it. Reaching forward he flicked the woman on the head when he got down to one, knocking her out with the force of the blow. He looked down at her, crossing his arms "Hmph" And then using a portion of his true speed vanished from the area

Would He regret letting the woman live? Who knew? While his efforts did not contribute to any investigation his spirit was at least one determined to root out what was seen as the evils of the world. A group of individuals would no longer do any further harm, and if anything even if he would not be regaled for his efforts by the masses or the village authority to say he'd leave empty handed would be unfair. As in all walks of life this was a learning experience. One where perhaps Karuto would have developed an even deeper internal patience when seeking the truth.

Kaito squeezed the rag of its water. He hummed a tune as he began to clean the graffiti off of the building. It was tagged in an unusual font but he found he couldn't read it. He didn't mind spending his morning cleaning since it was relaxing after all. He kept bringing the rag back into the bucket to grab more soap for his scrubbing. Thankfully, the graffiti was slightly fresh so it wasn't as difficult to remove. He finished his tune as he cleared up the last paint strokes of it. He dropped the rag back in the bucket, having completed his task. He wiped his hands off, then noticed a group of kids with spray can bottles in hand. Those trouble-makers! Kaito took chase immediately, following the group of three rascals. The shortest of them had shouted something so that they all began running away. It appeared they were going to split up but the shortest of them ran into a pole while he was looking backwards at Kaito, conking himself out. Kaito let him be and followed the other two who decided against splitting up. "Hey! Get back here!" He cried out to no avail. The hooligans turned towards an area of construction, and Kaito tried to yell out a warning that it was genuinely dangerous, but both boys were determined to flee the scene. They both, however, fell into a deep pit of dirt, colliding with each other on the way down. The construction manager watched the whole thing happened and seemed to be familiar with the boys as he called to them by name as he looked down the hole with Kaito. He told Kaito that he'd make sure the boys got checked up before they stopped by the APD. [ Graffiti Vengeance / D / 200 AC / bonus 100 AC + 100 Ryo ]
Kaito was about to go, but the manager explained that he actually needed some security so that no more teenagers ran into their site. Ever helpful, he agreed immediately and stationed himself on the edge of the scene. He kept his eyes on the horizon. Then he began to circle the site, listening for coming trouble. He eventually found it. A teenage boy with a camera around his neck was running towards the site. Kaito held a hand out and tried to explain that the kid would have to wait if he wanted to snap some pics of the construction. The kid explained that he was from the newspaper but Kaito couldn't betray the manager's trust. He tried to compromise with the kid that a far-away shot would work just as fine, but the young photographer didn't wanna hear it. The kid whipped out a knife, thinking he could intimidate Kaito from his position. Kaito tried a diplomatic solution but then the kid lunged and Kaito had no choice but to sidestep and trip the kid, putting a palm on his head as he fell so he could shove it down harder. The kid bumped his nose on the ground as he hit it, leading him to drop the knife and cradle it as he slowly moved back to his feet. Kaito told him to scram in kinder words and the kid eventually did, leaving his knife on the ground. Kaito reported it to the manager but continued his patrol. Kaito kept patrolling since the crew was still working. He made another lap but a construction worker stopped him and asked to help him look for his hard hat so he could get to work. Kaito agreed, but stayed out of the fray of construction so as not to get in trouble himself. He looked in the already-dug pits. There was nothing there besides dirt. Well, actually, he found a few cigarettes. Kaito worried about the health of construction workers since they were doing hard physical labor. He climbed out of the dirt hill and moved on to the resting area. It was a makeshift bench and there was only one fellow there, snoring as he slept on his lunch box. Kaito moved as quietly as he could as he looked around the bench, but there was no sign of a hat anywhere besides the one on the sleeping man's head. Kaito shrugged, figuring he wasn't working anyways, and sure that the men could alternate with the hat since someone needed to be on their break at any given time. He gently lifted it off the man's head and finished his lap around the site. Kaito shook hands with the manager after finishing his work. He didn't make it down the street when the night club owner called him over. She looked distressed and explained she'd had some break ins last week, so they up'd the security. She asked him to go ahead and test it without using any ninjutsu and he agreed. She left him to his own devices while she went to go grab herself lunch, so he had time. Since they had been daytime break ins, now was the perfect time to attempt to break in anyways. He could tell the alarm was set because there was a complicated mechanism that sat at the door that had a glowing light on it. He wasn't sure how it worked but he knew he did not want to set it off. He borrowed a hair clip from a nearby patron and got to work on the door knob. It took him a few minutes to figure out since he had never broken into somewhere before but understood it in theory. He opened the door and the mechanism did not go off. He felt confident then and carried on his way quickly, trying to think like a criminal. He didn't get far as he tripped a wire which released a bucket of marbles from the ceiling, which were both heavy and painful. He ran back out of the store to see the store owner looking smug. Kaito looked sheepish as he explained the faults in the system but complimented the surprising bucket of marbles which ultimately deterred him from going further. [ Stress Test / D / x4 so 800 AC ]
He turned the corner to find some kids throwing darts at a tree, trying to one-up each other. He recognized them as academy students so it was a good thing they were training and following their studies. They invited him to join so he shrugged and agreed, but he rejected their offer of darts. He brandished his own five kunais. He made sure they all stood behind him, then threw his first one. Since he was rusty, it didn't hit the center of the imaginary dart board but he was also standing fairly close so he only missed it by an inch. He took several paces back and made sure everyone stood behind him still. One of the youngest proclaimed he couldn't make it from there, but he focused on the goal and launched a kunai out with minor effort. It landed about the same distance from the center, which impressed some of the kids but not all of them. He frowned, and readied his third. He took longer in adjusting his aim before he launched it, but it did hit the center. He grinned, accepting high fives from the kids. Then, he accepted the youngest' challenge to back up twice as far. He did, but asked the others to retrieve his kunai so the 'board' was clear. Once his kunai were returned to him, he focused on the tree. It was pretty far away but accuracy was deadly important on the battlefield. He played with one kunai in his hand and phantomed the motion required to throw it correctly. After a minute, he launched it forward, hitting slightly above the center of the target. He high fived them each again. Then he handed over his kunai to allow them to practice for a couple of minutes with real weapons before recollected them. [ Target Practice / D / x5 so 1000 AC ]
Like shadows the three darted across roof tops. To the untrained eye the three would appear as nothing but flickers moving across the skyline. Ikati in the lead the feline's noes led the other two, before coming to a stop on a roof top in the White Flash district. A heavily dense populated area. Many shops, Inns and even more of the shadier places of Arashi resided in the White flash district. Halting along with her summon Freya's sharingan scanned about, seeing to an incredible degree. Much further than anyone else she knew. This could be a perfect place to hide out and lay low. Maybe the assailant worked for one of the many inn's in the district. Could she be a jealous woman taking her frustration out on male shinobi due to being dumped by one? The thought entered her mind but she'd rule it out due to it's pettiness.
"Kenshin It would seem Ikati has caught a stronger scent in this area. It could be an area the killer frequents. Due to the sheer amount of people though its gonna be a bit harder to pin point her location. I think this could be a area that she may work or live. Maybe if we can smoke her out somehow." Her opinion given the call was on Kenshin.

__ Kenshin's byakugan was hard at work as they followed the scent and entered the area. At the very least they had some sort of a lead and were on a trail of some kind. The captain looked at Freya when she spoke and he considered the possibilities. "The killer has been known to act impulsively yet decisively when she finds a mark. The inn right across the way has had the most reported incidents, although they've been sporadic." The justiciar squinted his eyes as he considered the possibility of offering Freya as bait. "You might be what we need to draw the killer out. Hide your badge and check into that inn. Once you have, make use of the hot spring facilities. If anyone approaches you in a friendly manner engage with them but remain cautious. I'll wait in a discreet location and watch the situation with my byakugan." It was a risky long shot of a plan but it was the best lead they had based on the already limited patterns of the Kunoichi Killer. "Just...best modest and wear a towel in there. There are things I don't need to see to catch this killer." With that being said, he would move to the other location and wait unless Freya had questions about her assignment. Freya was capable on her own based on her undercover training, but Kenshin was also instantly available for reinforcements should the killer make any moves.

"I... Am Beautiful... Truly..."
The other night was a failure, she gotten hasty and turned to botch the plan. Another paid the ferryman last night, passage made with one less chuunin of storm. In the mirror she gazed upon herself, hand streaking across the steam covered surface with a longing stare. Artificial her beauty was, sculpted by her hand and taken by those she deemed did not deserve such standards. A smile quirked at the corner of her mouth, satisfaction settled over her as she ran her right hand along the shoulder while watching the mirror. Unsightly blemishes in her skin were there as chakra soon passed over it, clean now it was with the technique altering the skin and tone so it seemed natural, even perfect in her eyes. She spent an hour with this preening, the self touch ups and admiration of herself, and soon she had the last piece to add to her self portrait of perfection. A perfume made by herself, mixed with the scent not of like any flower, she captured the scent of her marks instead mixed with a scent of a strong pungent smell of lilac. A perfume captured from her marks, from those... less deserving of her presence. __ Kenshin received a radio call but not from the usual dispatcher. He heard Ada's voice and recognized it immediately. Surprisingly she sounded the same to him on the radio as she did in person. He clicked on the speaker and would speak briefly before Freya's response. "This is Captain Kosei. Permission granted. Meet us outside of the Yoko Inn in the White Flash District." Ada would hear his gruff voice through the radio in a clear signal. Thankfully, her call was not disruptive and more backup was always of use in murder cases. He released the speaker and would now wait for Freya's response to his plan.

For example, if one spends 100 chakra on a gentle fist technique, the attack robs the target of 150 instead of the 125 normal clansmen would reduce. • Purest Lineage | The clansman's thoroughbred lineage allows them access to the Byakugan without the use of a hand seal, chakra cost, or activation. In addition, should they unlock the Tenseigan, they may have 50% less reserves to maintain it than other clan members and may also activate the Tenseigan without the use of a hand seal, chakra cost, or activation. • Physical Prowess | The Hyuuga gains a slight increase to reflex OR speed per body rank. This totals in a supreme increase for one or a moderate increase for both at S-Rank. In addition, the user gains a single custom slot to be used exclusively for the gentle fist style and one taijutsu slot. • Armory of Justice | Kenshin receives one free custom weapon.
Nuibari Attributes • Infinite Needles | While Nuibari functions perfectly fine as a long, thin blade that sits between a Jian and a Foil. It's comprised of infinite, instantly replenishing needles. If an opponent is stabbed, the blade will leave several needles inside of the opponent. It also never runs out of string either, with one at the base of the weapon, and one attached to each needle. Similarly, unhindered, the weapon always comes back when thrown for the techniques below, and can be pulled to the user free of activation via its wire so long as the nigh-invisible string is not cut. • Thread the Needle | This skill increases the speed of the wielder moderately while Nuibari is wielded.
It would not be long before Kameyo and the Kage would have taken to the streets however, the Kage seemed to be keeping close to the street edges and his head down. He had been lucky thus far avoiding attention. One benefit of just being a newly instated kage was that unless someone was really looking at him would they be able to draw who he was. Such was the benefit of not having an official coronation as of yet. He would see Kenshin in the distance. Good, it seemed his search was underway although this was not the direction in which himself and Kameyo would be heading. They would be heading in quite the opposite. While it might have been preferable like most wanderer's that Kameyo stay at an inn the location in which they were headed was already set.
After some time walking and perhaps some dogs barking the duo would end up in front of an ornate looking hotel building. However, in this time the two walked with one another before reaching said location Toso would have informed Kameyo of essentially the intricacies of his life. "I was a wanderer myself you know bloop. I came from a small island known as Endaishima. To think I'd be the one leading a nation." He trailed off for a moment then struck up the conversation again. Toso would add on to how he had essentially been alive for five shifts in power in the governmental structure leading up to Arashi. That formerly before Arashi came to be his true home was Kumogakure. The plan to lift the village into the sky was a tribute to the leaders of his once home village.
He would then tell Kameyo about the UHV how they assaulted his home island, the chunin exams, the villages and how himself along with the unified strength of the cloud brought the majority of the terrorist group to its knees only to have them rise up again where both sides suffered tragic loses but the villages still came out victorious. It was a roller coaster of ups and downs that got the village to where it was today. "..haaa..to think here we are again only now its a new name." He would inform Kameyo about those he held dear. Shion, Shiro, Shiro's assumed loved and close friend to Toso Unki,...even I suppose that prying psychiatrist by the name of Kagerou. Then The Twin Kage the founders of Arashigakure, the one's who gather the refugees of three villages to make the village that was now in the clouds. "Now they seem fit to martyr themselves and I've been given the reigns of the village so suddenly...AH! Please keep that between us. bloop."
Perhaps it was easy sharing this information with Kameyo because Toso knew she wasn't a villager. To many higher powers exposing oneself like this to a random stranger was dangerous but it showed how much faith he had in the girl. Cutting back to the building in which they had now arrived Toso looked at Kameyo. "Shall we?" Call it the squids sudden obliviousness but he hadn't realized the implications of walking into such a facility with a woman despite how deeply he thought about it not long ago. As soon as the ding dong of the bells signifying their entry went off they approached by a rather enthusiastic and bubbly girl who was poking Toso's chest cheerfully recognizing him. Toso in turn recognized her and when he did he winced...small world and all that. Someone from his days in the academy. Hopefully, she had mellowed out since those days.
"Ooooo. I was waiting for you Mr. ASH-I-KO-KI. The pokes of his chest in rhythm with the saying of his name. "Milena. Please don't use my surname so casually in such a manner if your inclinations are what they seem to be. same. Now..if.." It seemed Toso's earlier bloops had been replaced with 'shark' his tone of voice stayed the same but to those who knew Toso his onomonopeia's would change to reflect how he was feeling, and how he was feeling was irritated. He'd then get cut off by the girl who was circling around Kameyo with her finger on her lips eyeing every one of Kameyo's curvatures. "So this is why you reserved the luxury sweet huuuuh? I get it, gotta blow off some steam huh? Being Kage an all got you all pent up...oooo but aren't you being naughty. I thought you were married." She would lean in and whisper in Kameyo's ear "You're super lucky this guys the kage you know he's like super important and that means you could be set for life if you lock your legs." she'd wink.
The girl named Milena would withdraw and look at her old 'friend' again. "You know we have a special on Ashiatsu I'm sure you'd li..." an exhale this time Toso would be the one to cut her off. "Milena, that's enough, I detest you bringing up those jokes from the past, same. I am merely here having escorted lady Kameyo to her place of rest if you could just.." cut for cut the girl would puff up her cheeks and blow wind in the squids face like a child. "Pbllt. BORING! Well if there's no juicy scandals going on here's the keys." She'd toss two keys both with half a heart attached before walking back behind the desk as she spoke. "Sixth floor room sixty-nine." She'd sit at the the desk and then chuckle behind her hand like a schoolgirl "Kikiki. But if you want to get in the room it takes two different people putting their keys in at the same time."
Toso would pop a vein despite having a calm and collected expression at his former classmate's musings. Sighing to calm himself down he'd look at Kameyo "So would you like to wait for your companion? I don't want to intrude if what Milena says is true. bloop. Of course, you could likely summon one of your companions, couldn't you? Hm...not sure they'd take to kindly to being used for such a matter though. I still recall how mad the ortho brothers were when I summoned them because my bathtub drain was clogged...
