Selina gathered her wits enough to cast her chakra through the area, and thus have an ability to sense how many sharks there were in total. Initially there were twelve, however the two wounded sharks were quickly devoured by their comrades. Perhaps Obei's idea to throw Selina wasn't a bad one, as a strike from the air could allow for a lot of the sharks to be hit with minimal risk to the people. Before Selina could think too much about it, however, bolts of boiling water came crashing from the sky. Out of instinct Selina leaped to the side and pushed herself and Obei out of the way of the strikes. Unfortunately Selina's strength got the better of them, as they were pushed too far and got a little too close to the mutilated sharks. As the blood spurted out, Selina's top got several drops of blood upon it.
"Oh that's gonna stain!" She gasped as she got back to her feet and looked down at the shark. However, as she did so, her sensory made her realize that danger was swiftly approaching. "Uh-oh." In just the nick of time Selina disbursed into cherry blossom petals, which allowed the shark to just slide straight through where she once was. As she reformed and saw the shark come back for her, she reached into her sleeve and pulled out one of her fans. "I think I'm next on the menu Obei!" Selina pleaded fearfully as she swung her fan in the direction of the rebounding shark. A massive gale of slicing wind chakra erupted from the swing with the aim to lather the shark in deep and shallow cuts. With any luck that would cause the other sharks to continue gathering to this location, rather than being spread around and causing mayhem.

Selina's aim was impeccable as always, Obei watching as the kunai hit their mark in the side of the flying man-eaters flying overhead. The two wounded but come crashing back down to the ground in a fast moving heap of sea flesh. However, the others sharks made a rush for their fallen members of the pack and gobbled them up within mere seconds. It was a terrifying sight to behold. These sharks must have been carnivorous scavengers when it came to getting any kind of food source. All the more reason to stop them dead in their tracks. Before Obei could make the first move, Selina pushed them both out of the way of an oncoming torrent of water, a small crater at the location to where they just were just moments before. Unfortunately it was right in the way of one of the bleeding corpses. Splashed with blood, the oni would try and shake herself free of the blotches but without any luck.
Their foes, on the other hand, appeared quite ecstatic at the scent of the blood staining the two girls. One dove down and aimed to charge at Selina, only to be met with a few petals scattered to the wind. The same swooped down to try for the much larger target only to get yanked out of the sky. Her exposed, hyoton laced hands would cool down to shark before the oni smashed it onto the ground by the tail fin. before it could fly away, she reached for both wings and yanked each off in one fluid motion, kicking the body further away from the both of them. "Stand by Obei. Not let sharks harm Suh-Lee-Nuh."
She uncorked her goard of frozen kakkigori, slushed sake pouring out of its holster. With a stomp of her heel, it would rocket onto the ground, several smaller Obei's being formed from the mixture. The next was snapping her fingers, as each one would gain sake coated wings, allowing them to fly as each would choose the closest shark and rush to meet them head on. The aim was to latch onto them, allowing Obei to activate their explosion would would get rid of a few, or at least disable them partially.

Hajime had been walking the fields to clear his head, a lot weighed upon it. The Ninja was having second thoughts on leaving, unsure if he could accomplish what he needed too, he needed to think. Though that was quickly interrupted. The sound of fighting an-HOLYHELLTHATSAHUGEFLYINGSHARKTHATJUSTCRASHEDRIGHTBYME!!! He was ready for a fight now, he hadn't reached the cacophony of battle but their was one that just took out a boulder with its shear weight. Fingers went to Haji's mouth and he whistled loud to get its attention. His right hand outstretched and he concentrated chakra at the center point of his palm, till a swirling mass of the energy was violently swirling into the shape of a ball. With a lead up that would make any pitcher blush, he chunked that ball of potent energy straight it and took off towards the action. For now he would hope his attack landed and deal with repercussions later. Hajime drew his blades as he approached, eyes catching a familiar, tall Oni and the village celebrity. "Told ya we'd see each other again, need some help, you two?"

Selina's attack would land indefinitely once more...but how it did so may have been a little too...effective. A shark that approached quite literally exploded in viscera and guts started raining down. Thusly making Hajime's 'heroic arrival' anything but as an intestine landed on the back of his neck unless he went to far as to waste an activation to avoid such.
Obei would have successfully dispatched the charging shark, perhaps because of the coldness in her hands she was slow to realize, they would start to look abrazed and be bleeding to an excess, not something that was life-threatening no doubt essentially cuts one would have received from picking several thorned roses barehanded. Obei's creation of flying sake pests would thusly incur the wrath of the flying beasts. As is natural in a feeding frenzy to lash out at whatever is closest the majority of still airborne sharks would be busying themselves targeting the pests rather than the girls and the 'hero'. Five of them essentially would be swallowing the whole of the things. Essentially prepping them for Obei's future technique assuming they all were still intact enough to explode. That being said beast or no these five started adopting stranger flying patterns.
There were still eight sharks remaining and the other three which had not indulged all diverted their focuses to each bloodied target respectfully.
โขBreakdown ((I Need Obei's Deets. She also touched the sharko physically this means she triggers the {Rough Skin} which is basically Sharkskin Redouble without the fort. This is still a PvE encounter after all. DR doesn't factor into the evasion of Spiritual Techniques so you are against 4 B-ranks so essentially 1 S-ranks worth of โฐ Suihou no Jutsu [ Water Cannon Technique ] so do factor that it would actually be an S-ranked dodge to dodge all 4. I am assuming Obei used the max rank of the Sake pest technique so I'm assuming there are 5 pests. I will consider that the one she attacked is dead despite not knowing the rank of what technique she used in exchange for taking the rough skin penalty.))
Obei -{Rough Skin} Rank D Making direct physical contact with the shark skin causes lacerations. The lacerations are treated as D-rank wounds in this instance. Nothing life-threatening but her hands would certainly be bloody.

Selina nodded when Obei instructed her to get close. The woman moved over to her closest ally and adjusted her position so that she was near Obei's right arm. As she watched her friend dispatch the shark and set up her next attack, her sensory detected the introduction of a new person. Selina raised her eyes to look at him, and she smiled at the man for his sheer devotion. Here he was, clearly confused about the fact that there were flying sharks, and he decided anyway to charge in with a projectile. This was the Arashi she wanted to see more of. However, before she could fantasize further, a large gush of guts and blood rained down on him like he was a psychic teenager being tormented by the high school school HBOC's.
"Ugh! Sorry." She said in a shriek. Her face looked contorted and embarrassed that her actions were in part to blame. It was then that she recognized that the man expressed familiarity with her dear friend. "Do you know him Obei...." Her voice trailed off by the sight of blood. Obei's blood dripped from her hands in the same way it did the first time they met. Selina's mouth opened slightly before it gritted tight in clenched teeth. Her eyes became sharp and the APD determination took control of the wheel. "That's enough." Selina said in a mature tone as she moved away from her friend. As the shark flew toward her Selina's body radiated chakra. The chakra layered onto itself to become an aura of armor. Her arm cocked back and then shot forward in a devastating punch from her free hand. The shockwave which ruptured through the shock should create a bloodbath akin to the one made by her previous wind ninjutsu. Assuming it did Selina waited for the blood to fall on her chakra armor. The sharks who weren't attacking needed bait, and Selina planned to provide it. It was for that reason that she continued to walk toward the direction of the idle sharks. These sharks hurt her best friend. It was time for them to pay.

A newcomer had entered the gray, the shape of Hajine rushing over towards them filled Obei with a feeling of relief. "Mm. Is Ha-Jee. Meet in large office. Help Obei a lot. Friend." The more bodies they had in the situation, the better they would be able to deal with some of the problems here. The flying sharks continued their assault from above while her eyes shot over towards the one that had been at the tail end of Hajime's fuuton technique. She gave him a peppy smile and kept her eyes above in case any would be trying to sneak by. "Obei happy to see Ha-Jee. Help with shark needed."
Her flying pests would be causing quite the annoyance to the sharks above, which would be devoured one after the other. It wasn't originally a part of her plan, but it did make things quite easier. The potency of the sake would be enough to already get the sharks drunk off of the taste itself. But it wasn't until she brought both hands together, beginning the release that signaled the pests to detonate. The pests in the maw of the sharks would have their forms shimmer for a split second, but exploding in a sudden and violent blast of kakkigori and probably shark guts. One by one, five explosions in total. It was enough to get her to relax a little if not for her wounds.
The feeling of warm, crimson blood running down her hands was enough for her to come back down to the ground from wherever she was thinking at the moment. Nothing too terrible but it made her a prime target for whatever they would want to do in the future. She balled them, forcing a little more blood out. Just enough so that she could focus on the battle again. Her eyes shot to the skies while they spat streams of water at her comrades again. Selina managed to dispatch the shark gunning for her without too much of a hassle as exoected. Though she was drenched in blood, with made her a prime target for the other two. Just as Haji would defend against the sharks, a thought popped into her head.
"Obei have plan. Freeze sharks in sky. If work, make sure hurt sharks bad."
With a few hand signs thrown out, Obei summoned a group of icy clouds that condensed over the area, twenty five feet in length and almost triple that in height. It was a towering tornado of Hyoton chakra swirling around. The Oni controlled it to swirl around the sharks flying above. If they stayed in the harsh Arctic winds for too long, they'd plummet to the earth encased in her ice.

Hajime had just started to give a shiny, roguish smirk, and a thumbs up at the two. Trying to give them a sign everything would be okay, unfortunately. Whatever cruel bloopy god that lingered over them, saw fit to rain guts on his parade. He suddenly was soaked, from head to toe, his suave and handsome smile gone as he got very irritated at the current pests flying above them. "You're good! Not your faullllheeeyyyyy where are you going!?" He belted out, hand outstretched towards Selina. Her composure changed and unfortunately he wasn't close enough to Obei to notice why. Haji' started to go after her, before she annihilated that shark like an absolute boss. "Welp, nevermind you can handle it I guess." Hajime cocked his head back, to catch sight of his own shark, barreling towards him. Chakra flowed into his blades as he used them to ready his jutsu. He side stepped, reared back his right arm, gripping his hilt tight before following through with a flaming, detonation, of a punch right to that stupid shark's nose. He used the momentum, pushed through that punch and turned on his foot, rushing over to Obei. "Yeah, yeah, I'm helping hun." He saw the blood, but he couldn't worry about it now. "That's a great idea Obei, I'll keep you safe while you keep up that attack yeah?" Haji' grinned again, reassuring the tall Oni that he was gonna make sure everything worked out.

As the pests detonated, some of the larger of the brood survived but two died immediately in a visceral explosion. Simultaneously the shark which had targeted Selina was annihilated. Two of the Five sharks remaining which had suffered crippling injuries from their ruptured stomachs would attempt to produce seething water jets but fail. The remaining two with damaged flight patterns would then struggle to navigate the newly formed icenado, an icenado which served to carry the remnants of the other shark giblets and remains. Dare we say it was a shaknado albeit a chilly one. Before freezing solid the wounded shark descended unto Selina before snap freezing becoming a solid block of frozen sky fish while Hajime alternatively cooked his finely as it smelled like a street fair. Like that all the flying predators were slain...but the air...seemed off. The attack was stopped, but what had caused the attack to begin with? More importantly how did a species thusly never before seen over the course of five years just appear from out of the blue? The group would be rewarded with victory but also questions..and a need for a dip in a hot spring or bath. Due to none of the three members being of the sensory class...a dark shadowy figure in some undisclosed area would utter a "Tch..." before fading away. Meanwhile, the inhabitants would all be returning and thanking their saviors.

The battle was over. Her chakra armor disbursed as Selina stood silently for a moment. Then, Selina suddenly turned around, and before anyone could blink, she had her arms frantically around Obei. "OBEI! You're hurt!" Selina said as she gave a hug which could pop the stuffing out of a giant plushie. Selina let go of her friend as she channeled her bloodline through Obei. Petals materialized and started to form around Obei's hands. The petals dissolved to mend the wounds imposed by the shark's rough skins. While she was littered with questions about the ordeal, Obei's health was the most important thing. In her rush she failed to pay much notice to Hajime. However, once she finished healing her friend, she would love to hear properly how well everyone knew each other.

The red headed menace had her back, which always brought Obei with a bit of solace. Selina and him dispatched a few more of the sharks alongside her frozen twister. One by one, sharks crashed into the ground long gone before impact. The air was still chilled but no other sharks appeared to be attacking at the current given moment. Obei called her technique off and breathed a sight of relief just as her blood soaked hands would trickle the crimson liquid onto the ground. Droplets scattered across the pavement while she shook them off and reached down to take a long chug of her sake, having grown parched from the day's interaction. Her drink was cut off midway as she felt an incredible force crunch her midsection from below. A look down revealed that Selina had her in a bear hug strong enough to squeeze a squid to death. A surprising amount of strength from somebody who was so little. "Obei fine." She reassured Selina as those beautiful petals of hers swarmed both hands and began to close the wounds on each one. It was a warm feeling that the oni could say she enjoyed. Maybe even do her best to hug back. It wasn't until Obei saw Selina's outfit was ruined that tone shifted.
"Suh-Lee-Nuh dress dirty." Obei said, offering the star of the show a frown. "Obei sorry. Obei not save dress..." The two shared a moment together until Hajime's presence made her pause at an awkward time. She bit her bottom lip and motioned to the boy. "This Hah-Jee. Obei meet long time ago. Very long time ago. When Kah-Gah-Me attack, meet for first time. Meet after Kah-Gah-Me..." Obei trailed off as her heart would almost stifle, a painful ache felt by only her. Her mouth felt dried up despite having drank a few mouthfuls of sake just minutes prior. "Hah-Jee meet Obei more. Said is leave village soon. Very soon. Obei glad see Hah-Jee is better."
The oni shot the boy a look of comfort and thankfulness. The sharks had become fairly easy with his appearance, and that meant less people would be in harm's way because of it. __ Kenshin ran towards the crossroads and picked up Avalanche's sword. He looked at it before continuing his pursuit with his enhanced vision. For some reason, they escaped his attention so he needed to re-track them with his still-active byakugan. He ran toward the agricultural area to see the ex-Kogarashi giantess, Belamos's abandoned apprentice, and Selina. After they seemingly saved the day and were being thanked by the locals Kenshin approached Selina specifically through the crowd. "Did you see any officers and a young person with winged-shape visor glasses run through here?" Kenshin gave a basic description to Selina as well as any others who may have overheard.

Once Obei was finished being patched up Selina turned to Hajime. Given Obei's descriptions of him, he did appear as quite the prince charming. Still, with his goals of leaving the village soon, she wondered why he decided to randomly drop his ambitions and help Arashi ninjas out. Could it be that there was still love for the village within him? As an ambassador to the Kage, special relations was her specialty. Maybe she could help him find what he needed so that he didn't have to explore outside of the village. However, just before she could think of what he was lacking, Kenshin appeared through the crowd.
Selina's whole body turned to her dear friend. There was a mixture of warmth and formality which swelled within Selina when she saw him. He was someone she had known for ten years, and someone she deeply cared for. Therefore, when he asked about the officers and winged-shaped visor person, she knew that he was relying on her observation and sensory abilities to detect if such people passed by. "Obei and I were the only two who were able to respond to the flying shark crisis in the area. I haven't seen or sensed anyone else from our ranks, Kenshin." She said with as much precision as her usually bubbly voice could provide. A thought crossed her mind when she recalled the description which Kenshin gave to her. "Winged-shape visor... Do you mean that individual Kaito fought in Toso's tournament?" She asked curiously. She had only seen the fight on television, but it was why she recruited Kaito to run that minor errand for her. "Avalanche's interview said that they were a vigilante, even though I have only seen their codename a few times while sorting out paperwork. One of the most common places to find them though would be in the temple of the gods, where nature chakra has been reported in increased spikes." She elaborated.
Avalanche was someone truthfully she had planned to track down for the sake of trying to help them understand the plight of the APD and lend a hand rather than act on their own accord. "Do you need any assistance Kenshin? You know that I am here if you do." Selina said finally. While she knew that Kenshin would simply just tell her to follow him if he needed her, she also wanted him to know that she was always ready for him at the drop of a hat. Kenshin was one of the reasons why Selina returned to the ninja career, and she was always ready to remind him of that loyalty.

He was frustrated that he could not rely on the police radio for backup or other assistance because of the perp's access to it. When she asked if he needed help he solemnly nodded. "A handful of corrupt officers attacked me and...Avalanche. When Avalanche and the remaining officers fled the scene I chased after them but, for some reason, my Byakugan has been unable to track them. You're all invited to join me in finding them." Since he was unable to call for officer backup he would invite general shinobi support under his law enforcement command. Kenshin considered the Monsoon Temples. He had his own connection to the temples as they were his place of worship. "The Monsoon Temples are a possibility if that's where you think Avalanche would run to." His eyes then moved over the Monsoon Temples but his vision was still obstructed much to his irritation.

Selina gasped when she heard Kenshin mention that corrupt police officers attacked him and the vigilante. As only an officer of the law who mostly stayed in her own lane she was not aware that something so sinister had sneaked in under their nose. She was surprised but also proud of how collected Kenshin showed himself to be. Although he was always a stoic man, the police force and what it represented meant more than his own life. For him to be able to remain calm when something so dastardly arose showed a complete mastery of his emotions. It was clear that Kenshin matured intensely from the past ten years. "I will do anything I can to help." Selina said as she pondered the situation. A realization hit her as she recalled something special about the Temple of the Gods.
"The temple has a few sections which are immune to general sensory powers. The two we would be most familiar with is the location where R.E.A.C.H was created, and the secluded section where you spoke to the will of Evergreen." She said astutely. Kenshin would be familiar with REACH because that was the case which brought Selina to the work force, and it was the APD who had to deal with the paperwork of that crazed scientist who killed the five innocent people to make the robot come to life. Kenshin would have a much more personal relationship to the area where Evergreen appeared based on his own intimate experiences. Either way, both of those were both solid leads. Still, with Avalanche being a component of this, there is another lead to also experiment with.
"I think we should call Kaito in on this as well. I know the two sparred in the tournament, and my sensory powers showed me that the two fought together in whatever incident caused you to manifest the Tenseigan in the residential district. If the two have more of a dynamic relationship outside of work then perhaps he would also know hidden areas Avalanche would venture into." Selina said as she pulled out her radio to call out for Kaito. Just before she brought it to her mouth she sighed and placed it back on her police belt. "Right... Corrupted APD." She said as she turned to the ground in frustration. A smile returned to her face as she turned toward Obei. "Obei. Your friend can help as well, but I want you to go with Kenshin to the temple while I go get Kaito. While the area has anti-sensory attributes, Kenshin can use his byakugan to signal the areas which get hazy, and then have you leave a clone for us to follow. Kenshin ideally could also use clones, but that would drain his chakra for what's undoubtedly going to be a fight." She said softly. Selina then turned to Kenshin and smiled. "See you in a minute!" She said as she disappeared into flower petals.

__ Kenshin was once again made uncomfortable by mention of his usage of the Tenseigan. He was becoming far too liberal in the powerful divine blessing's usage lately. Nonetheless, he listened to the rest of Selina's plan. He continued to meditate and focus so that he could use his ire effectively rather than allowing it to cloud his mind. His worship of Evergreen and sagelike connection to nature allowed him to instead sharpen his rage with precision instead of allowing it to be explosive. However, Kenshin was admittedly untrusting of Obei given her known association with Kogarashi. But he restrained his judgement given the simple nature of the creature before him who seemed to be cooperating with the village's order decently so far. The oni might be so much of a blank slate that her morality could be changed beyond what most people were capable of. "Alright, let's move out." This was his succinct response to Selina before he looked at Oni and moved his head to the side indicating that she should follow him if she was going to help them. Kenshin hastily left the area for the Monsoon Temples.
